So agree man, thats what make tv whows about restoration and just generally good contently like this so rare, i just want information and to see someone skillful at work
It just goes to show - If you're willing to throw enough time, money and parts at something, anything can be restored to near perfect condition. It's an Individual choice as to whether the cost is justifiable. Having said that, I am really pleased that there are people like your good self who are willing to do so and then share it all with us.
AWESOME VIDEO. Im a farm kid from Illinois (now 61 years old) and have a real passion for old equipment od all kinds especially garden tractors. I have a 1968 Case 155 i use all the time for little work around my 1/2acre lot on the edge of town in Mesa Az. One day I hope to restore it to its former glory! GOOD WORK and thanks
This came out soo incredible! I have to admit, I was not understanding how the collector would be emptied but then you showed it off and what a brilliantly simple design! I love it, would use this machine for routine lawn care for many many years!
Every time you talk on your Daggerwin channel about how long these restorations take, I don’t doubt it-I know the feeling (and the time it takes you to restore it doesn’t even include the editing, and not to mention the filming)! But the restorations are always worth it in the end! Nice work, as always!
Love watching this type of stuff, the skill dismantling then putting it back together making it look like new seeing it reborn again. is very satisfying.
Great video. Really relaxing to watch and amazong job on the thing. Your getting me interested in pimping up my old atco. I tend to just use the tractor part of the ride ons myself for grown clearance
What a great restoration. You can clearly see the time it takes you to do these, I think you went through you entire yearly outfits for spring summer autumn and winter. And nice to see an appearance of virtual Dagerwin, even if it was only his feet for a fleeting glance, along with his dog aswell. Keep up the good work. One last thing have you ever thought of doing an outtakes video, I am sure you must have some on the cutting room floor of mishaps and errors. Thanks again loving your dedication to restoration.
0:18: "I need ro source an engine, a cutting deck and collector". Mate, at this point, just go down to the Winchester, have a pint, and wait for something better to come along!😄 EDIT: Excellent video as usual, whether narrated or subtitled, the great end result is there👍🏼
Restoring old mowers like this is a challenge that is not for the faint of heart. I am in the process of restoring a 16 year old Craftsman mower with a 26hp Kohler Courage and a 54 inch cutting deck. It is a behemoth, and sourcing parts has been quite the challenge. I understand why you don't put out a lot of restoration videos. I have been working on this one for 17 months. I am nearly finished, but I have been waiting three weeks on a bracket that I need to make the brakes functional again. It is not easy, especially when you are dealing with rust. I broke both bolts for the pulleys on the brake bracket, 11 out of 12 spindle mounting bolts, and all three blade mounting bolts. Dealing with the rust takes some patience. Thankfully, the deck on mine only had one tiny pinhole. I am still in the process of teaching myself to weld, so I am not ready for any major jobs yet.
Mate you’ve outdone yourself on this restoration,,,this was a absolute pleasure to watch and enjoy the steps the stages you went through the process of restoration commendable job outstanding attention to detail 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Well, that was quite the massive project! The red powder coat was awesome, along with all of the finishing touches. Loved hearing that engine - sounded really good. Great restoration!
So impressed you bring back to life classics that would otherwise be in the scrapyard. I am amazed you are able to source some of the parts. And, recreating the labels is the icing on the cake. Good Job
Beautiful restoration Daggerwin! I have several John Deere 214’s, a sears SS15, Wheelhorse c160 and c165, and a Cub Cadet 127 that I plan on restoring like that. I hope they turn out as good as yours did. Thanks for the videos! You do such a great job with them and your farm sim videos.
All I can is just amazing!! You never stop w(m)owing me. I wish I had the time to do a restoration on something like this or even smaller. You have an amazing talent!!! Thank you for all the sharing! Can't wait for the next one!!! God bless!!!
You absolutely amaze me. I’m working on my first restoration. A John Deere 112 from 1969. Has the hydraulic lift on it. I’ve only just started on the mower deck, but I’ve watched so many of your videos, I want to do it right.
The end product is basically an unboxing of a brand new machine, what more could you ask for!? Excellent, love bringing back machines that have years of useful life in them, instead of ending up in landfills or as materials used in building cheaply made inferior planned-obsolescence products.
Everything about this video is right. It's entertaining and informative. Great content, editing and camera angles. The before and after is nothing short of amazing. One message here is have the right tools for the task at hand and your job will be easier and time spent doing it shorter.
Excellent video and restoration. That tractor looked like it was ready for a date with the scrappers at first. It certainly looks and works showroom new now.
Absolutely incredible restoration of a beautiful machine, very well done! Couldn’t find Hedgy during the video but it was fun looking for him, had to go back after reading the comments to see him, he’s pretty sneaky! Great video!
I drive one of these every other weekend to do my nans garden, it's a great machine with a briggs and Stratton engine. Now I know how to take it apart for repairs! thanks 👍
I'm really impressed with the quality of riding mowers in England. They look really well built. Some of the mowers here in the US look like they're pretty cheaply built. I know this is an older unit, but it still looks really well made. Great restoration.
Definitely like the narrated version best. No talking is cool too
Same. The silent ones always feel so cold to me. Narration is best! Add personality and connection.
Yeah, I don't like to read 😂
Same
I'm the opposite 😅 love the silent ASMR style.

I understand completely. Some types of videos I like the silence also
The very best of UA-cam. A hugely competent gentleman doing a fantastic job with none of that American style shouty nonsense.Perfection
Yes,just very de-stressing to watch.
So agree man, thats what make tv whows about restoration and just generally good contently like this so rare, i just want information and to see someone skillful at work
I spent my teenage years cutting the lawns at my dad's on exactly this model. A huge wave of nostalgia hit me with this one. Great job
I could watch the restoration videos all day long. It's beautiful.
Nothing so satisfying like seeing you put on the stickers on the Westwood 1200❤
It just goes to show - If you're willing to throw enough time, money and parts at something, anything can be restored to near perfect condition.

I find UA-cam videos like these so relaxing when there’s no talking or music just the natural sounds. But certainly enjoy all your videos too. Ty Ty
Exemplary. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit and share.
Amazing restoration. What a job you did.
Something deeply relaxing watching a person bringing a unloved machine back to life
I don’t know how you remember where all the new parts go! You amaze me. Nice job. 😮
He watches the take down video.
This came out soo incredible! I have to admit, I was not understanding how the collector would be emptied but then you showed it off and what a brilliantly simple design! I love it, would use this machine for routine lawn care for many many years!
Love your videos keep up the good work you inspire me to restore tractors to.
That is an amazing job, and a really well made Garden Tractor
Excellent restoration, well done
Unbelievably well executed restoration. The attention to detail that was put into it shows the love someone has for this machine.
This kind of content should have millions of views. Amazing job .

Love watching this type of stuff, the skill dismantling then putting it back together making it look like new seeing it reborn again. is very satisfying.
My parents have this same model mower still. It still runs to this day, give or take a set of blades. This is great, thx for sharing.
I've never seen a belt twisted like that for the blades. Very nice job. Great detail.
Beautiful work on this mower. Great video. Great skill you have! Cheers to you!😁👍🔧🛠️

Every time I watch one of your restorations I think it should be in a museum for future generations to enjoy.
That is a unique bagger system, or more of a grass collection system. Another lovely restoration. Love these kinds of videos. Thanks for all you do!

Best video you have ever done and I have watched them all. The original gas can was an awesome touch!!!

Massive respect for the amount of work that must have gone into this! Fabulous resto. 👏🏼
Looks like the sweeper removes some thach also . Thanks for the video , top notch as always.
I surely enjoyed it! It may not be a zero turn mower, but it's a brilliant beauty now!
That is by far the best restoration I’ve ever seen, awesome job. I wish I could get someone like you to fix up my mower.
Love watching these restorations!!!
Your ability to source parts for the mowers and make new decals etc is truly impressive
Sweeper was a surpsrise for sure. Very nice set and great restoration
Definitely the most ambitious restore yet! Fantastic video sir!
Excellent restoration. Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Nicer than new,,Should be in a lawnmower museum,,
The guy must have had good parents. Its nice seeing someone with this level of detail doing such a great job.
Had flashbacks of the Olive Orchard! Well done, fantastic retore!
My granddad had a T1100. Good memories. Your partswasher ist cool.
It looks brand new wow. I like that catcher design too.
You are most definitely the best I have seen. What you do is incredible. The attention to detail is like no other on here.
Well, that was quite the massive project! The red powder coat was awesome, along with all of the finishing touches. Loved hearing that engine - sounded really good. Great restoration!
Beautiful Job. Cuts very clean and looks great doing it! Love the dumping bucket.
Amazing restoration, you've become very professional in your work.
So impressed you bring back to life classics that would otherwise be in the scrapyard. I am amazed you are able to source some of the parts. And, recreating the labels is the icing on the cake. Good Job
My grandad had one just like this but had to sell as it was too big for his area he was mowing
And great job fixing a good and reliable mower
An incredible transformation! Well done indeed!

Wow your transformation or restoration videos are amazing keep up the great work.
What a beautiful restoration and machine, thank you 😸👍🏾
We had one of these, we upgraded it to the briggs v twin. Made it much quieter! And it didn't struggle in the longer grass. Good memories!
The end product is basically an unboxing of a brand new machine, what more could you ask for!? Excellent, love bringing back machines that have years of useful life in them, instead of ending up in landfills or as materials used in building cheaply made inferior planned-obsolescence products.

Beautiful work
Absolutely remarkable talent !! You are gifted !
That has to be so fulfilling! I’m envious. I’d love to work on something like that.
Ugh when you hear that drill purr. It’s a channel icon to me!
Most impressive. Thank you.
BEST RESTORATION EVER, AWESOME
Clunky design but your restoration (with those decals) make it SUPERB! Bravo for your fine detail and excellent craftsmanship!
The whirr of power tools and the clink of hand tools, nothing else needed.😊
lovely job, I'd be using that as my daily driver would be cool rolling up to the pub on that.
This satisfies my ocd. Amazing craftsmanship.
Absolutely stunning!
I truly enjoyed the video style and the work done by someone that is perfection in every aspect well done.
When you started I thought the mower was not worth saving, you proved me wrong, it looks great.
What an awesome mower...nothing like it now and its 38 year old technology. Great restoration!!
I’ve followed your vids for years!!! And just love how much attention to detail you do!
Amazing as always - keep them coming!
The old Westwood lives again in all her finery, restored to perfection.
Makes me wanna restore one of my Lawn-Boys
Excellent video and restoration. That tractor looked like it was ready for a date with the scrappers at first. It certainly looks and works showroom new now.
Wow, this belongs in a museum! I think this is the best restorations to date. Thanks for sharing this outstanding video.
Best regards
Fred Thomas, USA

10 out of 10 you did it again awesome job on that restoration you should teach a class on tractor restoration i would take your class in a heart beat
It'd great to see how you can restore equipment to new and keeping it alive instead of it going to scrap. Love your channel!
I drive one of these every other weekend to do my nans garden, it's a great machine with a briggs and Stratton engine. Now I know how to take it apart for repairs! thanks 👍

Maaaaaaaate, absolutely loved watching this restoration. I especially loved the clip at 19.55 👀
Each classic mower should be a museum piece
Wow, You do amazing work on these restorations! I love watching your videos and I agree with others that the Narrated version is the best.
