Just learnt today that my mum has blood cancer, she's thin and a small eater and I've talked to her about the carnivore diet
We're gonna concentrate on mostly meat and butter to bulk her up a bit and give her strength to fight on 👊

Please do read up on which vegetables and fruits are low oxalates (good) and low carbohydrate (good).
Just in case your Mom fancies a vegetable or a fruit now and again.

Praying for your mom!!!! Please try fasting, Strict Carnivore, and no poisons (chemo/pharmaceuticals)….the people I knew that had cancer didn’t die from the cancer they died from the TREATMENTS…..just an observation.

I AM aging backwards on the carnivore diet and it's a gift I never expected and am so thankful for. That said, did I understand you to say that post-menopausal women have been known to age backward to the point that their menstrual cycle returns? Holy katz, I didn't know that. 😳Still gonna continue doing what I'm doing, but thanks for that warning! 🤣

I have been down 100 but gained a little back the past 3 years I’ve lost 15 pounds which is simply a side effect as far as I’m concerned. Arthritis pain is almost gone.

Excess skin after losing weight! 🔥
David Goggins used to be overweight, but he's really skinny and muscular now.
He said he doesn't know what happened and why he doesn't have excess skin.
    Maybe genetics? Or maybe...
Q? Could it be that SHAKING, by running, Jumping Jack's etc are signaling the presence of excess skin to our body? And trigger some sort of autophagy???

    • @kenadams5504

Fasting , even intermittant Fasting , promotes Autophagy . The body must not be pre-occupied with metabolising food to start autophagy , so when we stop eating autophagy gets it's chance .

I am happy, strong, do construction work everyday. I am 67 and have been a yoyo dieter all my life. I feel happy balanced, and productive. I feel like I have been starving for the last 60 years. 2 lbs of fat red meat Dailey. Cheap faty hamberger that nobody wants. Some bacon on top occasionally. Total day food bill. 8 dollars a day. Thanks for the continued great videos...! I got rid of grains out of my diet back in 2011. I've been essentially carnivore...with one distinct difference with some veg... and that is my home-made sauerkraut...naturally fermented using salt only. This food is a POWERFUL food and my understanding is that fermented items like cabbage would render plant defense mechanisms fully harmless. The gain is the probiotic level with this fermented sauerkraut. Thoughts?

Sometimes, specially after hard core Pilates classes I can feel the pulse in my stomach, legs, head… everywhere. At first it was little freaky, but then I got used to it because it doesn’t influence my blood pressure or anything else.. So, the comparison of rocket fuel instead of crude oil is hilarious 😆😆

I've been diving deep into the whole carnivore diet trend, especially Dr. Anthony Chafee's take on it. And I've got to say, while the simplicity is alluring, I can't help but feel we're missing the forest for the trees here. Our bodies are complex machines-they thrive on variety, a symphony of nutrients. And most health experts I've read up on, they're all singing the same tune: balance is key.
You see, when we focus solely on animal products, what happens to the essential fibers, vitamins, and minerals that are abundant in plants? I mean, we evolved with a varied diet for a reason, right? It's like trying to run a complex piece of machinery on just one kind of fuel. Sure, it might run for a while, but aren't we risking sputtering out without all those other vital nutrients?
Plus, there's the bigger picture. Sustainability isn't just a buzzword-it's about the health of our planet. Diverse agriculture is less of a strain on our environment than mass animal farming. Ethically, too, there's a lot to think about. The way we source our food matters, not just to our bodies, but to our conscience as well.
I respect Dr. Chafee's passion and expertise, but I'm cautious about going all-in on a diet that sidelines the rich mosaic of foods that nature offers. Our plates are like canvases; shouldn't we be painting with every color in the palette?"

I basically feel the same, watched hours of content already. This is for sure not a diet that is sufficient for life - but maybe for a few years, like vegan (they will often get sickly after some years). It is malnutrition, but only in the long run. These guys are doing it for years and look at them, they look super healthy. I will try it for a month starting next week I guess. Maybe give it a try as well. For overweight alone, which causes so so many diseases, this is a cure.

    • @mattoltman7122
      @mattoltman7122 7 місяців тому +1

I would encourage you to keep watching carnivore videos from different docs and scientists. All these concerns are addressed and there are many people that have been carnivore for decades with no signs of I’ll heath, and usually the opposite, exceptional health. Fiber is not necessary. All necessary nutrients are found in meat and fat.
As for variety, that is a very recent luxury. For the overwhelming majority of human existence you ate what was in your area at the time. Some seasonal fruits and vegetables may be a nice perk, but we could not survive in any cold climates without eating animals as our staple food due to the unreliable/seasonal availability.
Regarding sustainability, Raising animals occurs on land that is often unusable for crop agriculture not to mention all the plants and animals that have to be killed to prepare land for crops. Then the harvesting, packaging, and shipping. Then there is about 50% lost to spoilage. While I agree that CAFO is horrible, many people following carnivore find local farmers to buy animals from for a better quality and price than most commercially available meat.
Please keep gathering information, it is very eye opening.

@@mattoltman7122 I do think that carnivore works just as well as vegan diet for people having issues with the refined food diet.
There may also be categories of people highly benefitting from a carnivore diet, but that is not the case for the broad spectrum of humans. Even homo erectus ate plants as well, why should we go backwards in evolution?
We are omnivores by default. most of us evolved genetically to deal with gluten and lactose. Our teeth and intestine tracks and stomach acid are made for Plants and meats - Hunter gatherer. For the most of people a mediterranian diet with enough exercise and no processed foods or added sugar, mostly low carb, would be most likely best. Our gut biome needs diversity from fermented foods and if processable dairy.

@@klaushipp1207 The improvement seen changing to vegan diet is usually due to the reduction in processed sugary junk. There are very few long term vegans because after enough time the typical heath issues emerge. Nutrient deficiencies, gut issues, skin issues, energy issues, and the list goes on and on. Many carnivores started as vegans and meat healed the damage done by carbs and vegetables.
“There may also be categories of people highly benefitting from a carnivore diet, but that is not the case for the broad spectrum of humans.” This is false. Agriculture is about 5-10,000 years old. Before that we ate and thrived on meat. For hundreds of thousands to millions of years depending on what you want to include as human. Yes some hyper-local, seasonal plants were consumed, usually processed (remove skin and seeds etc), or fermented, but we survived by eating meat and fat. Anthropologist and archeologist Bill Schindler covers this in his book Eat Like a Human, and on several videos on UA-cam. So agriculture and eating significant amounts of vegetables is actually “going backwards in evolution” as you put it. Not to mention the thousands of personal stories of people healing incredible disease by eating only fatty meat and eggs. Also, at the onset on agriculture, the average height dropped from 5’9” to 5’5” suggesting a very negative impact on health.
We are not omnivores by default. Our gut is far more similar to carnivores than any animal that eats a lot of plants. Meat is broken down and absorbed at something over 90% because it is all useful to our body. Most vegetable matter is passed in feces because it is harmful, useless, or not worth the effort to extract the nutrients. We don’t have teeth and claws like most carnivores because we don’t hunt with teeth and claws. We hunt with our brain and use tools to catch and break down the animal so the development of those features was unnecessary.
And the Mediterranean diet, or blue zones. Like with vegans, you would undoubtedly find improved health in areas that avoid processed foods, sugar and seed oils. Additionally, people that have visited blue zones have remarked at how meat heavy the diets are, and how they expected more plants because of what they were told about the diets of people in these areas.
Concerning the micro biome, there are several carnivores that have had their gut diversity measured and they are comparable and often more diverse than guts of people with a varied diet. All of this information is available right here on UA-cam.

@@mattoltman7122 Thing is, and you mentioned that yourself: Hunter gatherers ate everything they could find and process, not just meat. That has nothing to do with argrarculture at all. Thats why our intestines are designed that way as well as our teeth.
Therefore Carnivore is malnutrition just as vegan, although it might be sufficient for a longer period of time before you have to break that diet. You can't have a more diverse gut biome with all kinds of good dairy bacteria strains or those of fermented foods, if you eat a diet that has no diversity at all - Its illogical. Also we are missing belivable long term data (20 years carnivore) to finally say that this a reasonable thing to do. Also most people are not cut to eat that way. It is not sustainable, Imagine 20 percent of people would go carnivore.
If someome struggles and happens to like eating carnivore, it for sure is a good diet. Also for Autoimmune people ect.pp.
It is not the answer for broad human nutrition, that would be mediterranian or "Whole food" diet.
all we have are a couple hundred youtube videos of people claiming to be full carnivore and all their issues are gone. Plus some studies that indicate something - sience is still thin here.

@AnthonyChaffee as carnivore diet human i am, this advice is still important:
PLEASE don´t argue that most of the deases ourdays are from plant eating. That´s a dark road easy to disprove.
One) Your own argument: if something is deadly like plant-eating, humans would already be dead on this planet, because humans eat plants for thousands of years. You yourself told few interviews before, the story of 2 populations, one who got ages of over hundreds of years being carnivore and the others just half of it.
Two) Diabetes is well documented over thousands of years, Pharaos had diabetes, cause their grainpowder was too much sieved
Three) There is NO evidence, that before 1880 alzheimer or even cancer was a big thing. Do you know about the big food crises over 150 years ago in europe? Russian grain helped europeans to survive and no documented case of bad deseases. This argument is important, because you said months ago, that in the past, there were no documented cases of deases we face today. But at that time "most humans" were eating plants, cause meat and animals were property of the ruling class.
Most deseases worldwide are results of criminal vaxxinations, pestizides, crazy vegetable-cultivation, gmo-insanity, chemtrails and microplastic-BS. As human begun to synthesize nature, trying to make life compatible to deadly-AI ... all the misery started. And still more than half of the plants are poison to humans, cause it´s meant for animals as food.
Beside that ... elimination diet like carnivore is the BEST way to go ... i am testing a lot, like how quick returns the body to ketones, how much added glucose is healthy, what lies told since birth must be adjusted to truth ... all well proofen by blood-data, bloodsugar-data, ketones-data and so on. For your own credibility, don´t walk dark roads in arguing ;-) there is more than black and white. Thank you for you courage as MD in public, i know what risk you faced, but did it anyway

Dr Chaffe, you stated in this video that it is not the unknown that gets you, but things that you are sure about and you are wrong being sure about it. Have you ever considered that carnivore ist malnutrition? Humans ate everything they could before agrarculture, also plants, berries, wild growing seeds etc. I would never say that this does not work for at maybe a couple of years, but there have to be reservoires and depots of essential nutrients in our bodies that just meat/dairy does not provide.. and that will run empty at some point? Seems only logical to me, how do you think about that?

This is addressed by many different doctors in the carnivore space. Nutrient deficiency does not seem to be a problem on carnivore. Practitioners share their blood work often and it is usually ideal.
