Alter, ich mag deine "wissenschaftliche" Herangehensweise ein Review zu gestalten! Da ich momentan auf der Suche nach einem neuen Netzteil bin, hat mich dein Test vollends überzeugt mir ein Cioks DC7 zu kaufen (auch wenn jetzt auf der von dir getesteten Box Eventide steht, ist es ja im Grunde ein DC7 ohne den 24 V Gleichspannungsausgang). Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Und Danke auch mal andere Wege zu gehen als die üblichen Verdächtigen der Gitarren Influencer Mafia, die augenscheinlich nur auf übertriebene Selbstdarstellung und Sponsoring aus ist. Deren Reviews sind so hilfreich wie benutztes Toilettenpapier.

Awesome video…can i power up my Quad Qortex with power supply..
Its power supplies like that as why people decide to mount them under pedal boards. You want to see the LEDs to make sure everything is operating right. Place it under the board and youll have to lift the board up to see.

Avocado of Glory. I saw CIOKS has the 8800 Y junction cables to combine power from two ports. I'd love to see you test that as a followup please. I have seen Henning speak of it in the context of 9v, I'd love to know if it works in the context of 12v as well for example and what it does to noise or otherwise. Thanks!
In fact, a good test would be to power the Twin MkIIIS with this method.
That's an interesting question! Although, I'm pretty sure Twin should work with just one port. It's real consumption is about 570mA

Great review, thanks to the avocado of glory! I honestly don't understand why I should buy thus power supply - the plain Cioks DC7 is 57€ cheaper in Germany (~1/6th of the price) and provides an additional 24V outlet. Why does this product exist?!
The situation is opposite in the US with DC-7 being more expensive than PowerMAX. I don't know what happened in Europe that pushed the price that way
I'm aware of the pricing. But hey, you can just get our CIOKS DC7. It's got an additional 24V outlet and can be linked to CIOKS 4 or CIOKS 8 and in EU it's cheaper than the PowerMAX.

How much power does it need? Check the voltage and amperage on the unit. And don't forget the polarity

HX Stomp is rated at 3A. GT-1000 comes with PSB-1U which is rated at 2A. What do you think?
