We have this unit and have been using it for over 8 months. Its accurate, easy to use (easy for the kids to use as ball placement isn't too tricky and it picks the ball up almost every time), great courses and we love that you can actually play from tee to pin with the cool putting tray. Also taken it to the driving range a few times and works perfectly as a launch monitor. Regular updates, loads of good features & data is consistent and accurate.
The pricing in the home golf sim market is still drastically out of touch with reality. I've got the funds and space for a sim, but I'm not paying a subscription just so I can play more than 3 courses. Charge what you need to charge so we can purchase outright and be done with it. Subscriptions w/o an associated ongoing cost of business is a failed model. I implore everyone to avoid companies that participate in this nefarious and absurd pricing practice.
So kind of like cable TV that people pay hundreds of dollars a month for. Or Satellite radio. I don’t mind paying a modest additional fee if they make it worth it. As in this case, from 3 to 100 courses.
Apparently this person has just woken up from a coma after purchasing Windows 95 in a box from CompUSA. SaaS is the most successful software delivery model of the last 15 years. Just pay the sub fees ya cheapskate
I’m in the simulated racing world, and it’s a monthly or yearly subscription to use the service, and if you want additional cars, or tracks you buy them outright so say they release a new car for a series in order to drive that car it’s $4.99 one time fee, or if they release a new track it’s $12.99 one time fee for that track, I don’t mind paying for a service but if they broke it down where you could pick and choose for a 1 time fee it’d be great
Like one of the other posters my local indoor facility uses Golfzon tech, and yes the floor moves which is a great teaching tool. Graphics are good and it works well as a simulator. The difference is that the indoor facility uses the Golfzon Two Vision system which is hopeless in so many respects, maybe it is a generation or two behind. The Golfzon Wave is a lot better but is it really better than the Mevo+ limited edition?
I think nowadays the graphics of these sims should be more comparable to PGA Tour on PC or PS5. Unfortunately even the new sims look more like a PS3 game.
Question: do you need another golf software to play courses or to use with the wave? for example do I need to have e6 software to play golf games with friends or on the internet? I thank you all for the information as I am really considering purchasing this but not if I have to pay an additional $600 a year to have e6
Our local indoor place uses Golfzon technology and I think you guys should do a 2-man scramble at Rope Club! Check out our 2-man scramble to see how much fun you can have with the very attackable holes and low scores are totally possible for average golfers!
Looks good but I'd rather not be tied down to a subscription for a proprietary software. I doubt GSPro will ever be supported. Too bad they don't sell the putting mat seperately though as I'd try hacking it for GSpro. Would be an amazing way to get rid of the putting issues on Mevo+ and others.
Is this a commercial or an unbiased review. ??...not clear. Did you guys pay for the system or was it given to you in exchange for positive review. Like mentioned below I am missing accruacy data compared to other systems known for their accuracy such as GC4 or Trackman.
@@Golficityyou could potentially use the Springbok connector software to extract metrics from a mobile/tablet device... A lot of people use it for MLM2Pro to work under GSPro but it's somewhat finicky to setup.
Rapsodo proves good simulator/monitors need not cost >$1000-$1500. Paying $4000 for one of these gadgets is only feeding the beast. It has also been shown that an ExPutt RG can help combine with a Rapsodo for an affordable pricing, chipping/putting solution.
You need to acuratly compare specs though, the usually draw back with the cheaper units is they dont have things like face to path or club face strike location. So if you are working on you path and your face to path to or stike location to play a better shot this info isnt there. And that what cost the extra cash for the better sensor in the monitor.
@@krusher74 The great thing about MLM2 Pro is you have the impact vision which shows you the moment you hit the ball with super slow motion camera and with an educated guess after looking at your smash factor you would know exactly where you hit it on your clubface. Just like any experienced golfer who has worked with launch monitors then you would be able to tell even without looking any data just by the feel after spending some time. And Exputt has the best data you can get for a putting simulator including your club data. Just use a 3rd party connector for GS Pro for both Exputt and MLM2 Pro and you have better graphics than this crappy one (for some reason they call it good) and a very accurate data. Exputt is more accurate than GCQUAD when it comes to putting btw. for 1200 dollars you get both of them and you pay 200 extra each year for GS Pro as far as I know...
Have you got both? I actually have the mlm2pro and expue, but I've never used them together (yet) although exputt is a great great device to improve putting overall
The one that is the most realistic is the one that the floor will move according to what lie you have, if your uphill, downhill, side to side terrain and it also has the different mats that are softer for bunkers, simulates the rough, which I thought was also made by Golfzone not sure, the putting technology on that one your playing is t that great….. review the one that moves according to your terrain
@@brockgamble4499 you can totally get the more realistic one at home it just costs a lot…I’ll never be able to afford one, but there is a simulator that is more realistic to this one they are reviewing. That was the question

Looks great, but big omission from the review is whether it is accurate? Can you do a comparison with GC Quad?
Nice unit. Can you do a comparison to a BLP or gc quad or whatever you have? I’m wondering how accurate it is.
Great to see Mike getting involved with the videos! His comments are really relatable for me. Keep 'em coming Mike!

100% agree. Companies that employ these tactics, will never see my money. Ever.

What hitting mat are you using?
1st time I played SCREEN GOLF was a a Golfzon bar in Halifax Nova Scotia..
Nice package and software they offer and not a bad price. Does is measure spin axis or is it calculated. Thanks
The transition on the putting surface causes the ball to bounce . Wouldn't it be better to have the surface the same height ?
I think once the initial ballspeed and direction is captured, the bounce is irrelevant
What mats are those? Look perfect for right and left handed golfers.
Please let me know if the left-side camera can be positioned behind the player to provide a down-the-line swing review for a right-handed player.
Wow - those graphics are crisp!

Golfzon includes 140 courses including all the ones you want.
@@Evan_Rodgerswell. that's admirable but GSPro is up to almost 800.. And E6 was equally insulting with their 300$ for 27 crappy courses.

They most likely did not pay for it.
Interesting concept. Regrettably, it’s still outside my price range.
is the RCT ball compatible? Or can you just use a regular ball?
How would it work with right and left handed golfers
You can putt from either side of the mat so it works for righties and lefties.
How accurate is the short chips/ flops?
Can multiple simulators connect to the same pc at the same time?
Do you still need a projector with it
No you don’t need it. You can see the result on the computer screen.
Did I read somewhere that the distance of the monitor to the ball is now less than 8-11 feet?
What ceiling height do you need?
Does it connect to GSPro?
As of right now I believe the only 3rd party connection option is E6. Not sure if GSPro will be added in the future.

11 feet and 46 feet ? The trackers needs to be 46 feet behind the golfer ? It's pretty far away from it isn't it ?
8 feet behind the golf. 8-11 feet in front
I just can not get behind sym golf...this looks cool, for what it is though..
The gc3’s putting is accurate as can be. The wave thing just seems unnecessary.
Not even in the ballpark of VG3
$4k, plus you need a PC/laptop. mat and screen. So your looking $6000 to be up and running.
lol "accuracy of putting" try foresight+GSPro blows everything else out of the water
What are the chances, you lend me a golf simulator?
We all know Wii sports is way more accurate
Wi-Fi while out on the range? Huh?
It puts out a wifi signal that you sign into on your phone
All the Korean/Asian software options have the goofy cartoony sounds that I can't stand
There must be options to turn that off.
Just buy a Quad and be done with it
