This is overall amazing how realistic it is. The light rough looks like you may catch the sand if you're using a long iron or woods. It looks like you have to go steep on the takeaway and come in steep at impact to miss the sand part.
13:07 - base is moving as he's adjusting his feet for the stance - is it suppose to do that? you can see it move a few times. I would think the base needs to be perfectly stable.
It feels strange to hear that indoor golf place, which we have been playing for a very long time, is still unfamiliar in the United States. Indoor golf places like this can be found in every neighborhood in Korea. Competition is fierce in each store, so now it only costs less than 20 us dollars to play 18 holes.
We have these all over the US, it's just that a lot of parts of the country are warm enough to golf year-round on a real course. In Cali we didn't have many simulators where we were, but in Michigan we have them all over the place. People not from the US just can't grasp how large the US is, lol... 😅
I have no idea why this was recommended to me or why I clicked it but the fact you're at the Palisades Mall (10 minutes from my house) made me laugh so here's my view/comment/like lol
they have a golfzone in cali i did it with a bunch of friends, just played 18 holes raining night for my bday great time fun. Plenty of courses . great time and great bar!
This makes the sims in my country feel prehistoric😂 I've seen these kinds of sim setups in south Korea. They even host televised Pro tournaments of simulator golf
pretty cool but Seems like for something focused on realism they should have a putting surface and holes down the centre with also a moveable surface. Golf simulator I've used for a long time has it.
It's most popular one in Korea. I played it over thousand times. Its really good to enjoy different type of golf game. but it's ball physics is not exactly same with real one.
The mats on the video is kinda old now in Korea . They have a new mat where mat your standing on is separated in 4 different zones and hitting area is separated in 2 zones. All the zones move separately to mimic a real ground. And they just released a new simulator that uses unreal5 engine and the all the golf courses looks insanely better.
this guy needs to stop trying to sell the simulator as a product, just tell them why it is so great, instead of overexaturating everything. The sim is great, stop trying to sell it, just let the guys enjoy it.
Definitely doesn’t help speed up your round. The machines struggles to tee a ball up for you at times and your on a time limit. Definitely slower. I’d rather grab a ball and tee it up. Machine only moves so fast so you get kinda an x amount going on anyways..
Speed up your round? Until you experience the agonizing inconvenience of bending down to pick up and placing the ball in the other areas for different hits. 😂
This stuff is super cool BUT I'm still 100% sure these computers make the shot outcome much better than what it actually is. I'm a 2hcp player, playing golf for many years. 7:35 " right the next to the pin" Yea, sure! Most people do that with these simulators. Dont get me wrong, the advancements we're making are amazing, this stuff is great. But the way the reading AND the result on screen works is still far from reflecting the truth. There are so many natural factors to include... also, just a personal opinion, but the distance from the ball to the bouncing screen is too short. There's not enough time to really understand how the ball will behave. This is because of natural factors like air density, wind, atomosphere, altitude and other stuff. The IA doesnt take those into consideration.
It actually has a caddie experience feature update and we shot a video covering it on the channel. It’s incredible how it learns your game and helps you through the course.
It's interesting but simulations are just that. There's no substitute for the real thing. The real issue with simulators is consistency. On the course no two shots will ever be exactly the same. Grooving the swing for specific situations makes adjustments on the course more difficult to do.

Needs rain, snow and wind effects too..😂 seriously these sims are getting frightening good..
Innit
And frighteningly expensive
They should send blind people there and tell them it's Pebble Beach. They won't know the difference.
This is overall amazing how realistic it is. The light rough looks like you may catch the sand if you're using a long iron or woods. It looks like you have to go steep on the takeaway and come in steep at impact to miss the sand part.
The one at my job has the rough and sand in separate spots , interesting
I used to be a Golfzon member in Hong Kong. I really loved playing with friends and drinking cold beer while waiting for my turn!
Golfzon is a Korean company and this has been around for years. Indoor golf is huge in Korea. I guess they're finally expanding in the U.S.
This is a great way to keep the game going in the cold months. I like what watched a lot. Thanks, guys.

Glad to see Old Navy is adding simulator's to their stores! They were really needed!

it seems like the platform moves round too much during the swing, but other than that it is an amazing idea.
That’s what I was wondering, does it feel weird to hit off a platform that’s moving around while your weight shifts?
I had this at my golf studio 4 years ago… brought it in from korea
Yeah, you can tell this isn't a balanced review when they don't even mention it
Very cool. The only drawback I see is that the platform moves quite a bit during the swing. It's nice to see tech evolving like this.
Looks like a lot of fun. The different lies are great-just like on the course! Would like to see Frank vs Mike for 18 holes on the simulator!
We got a heads up match coming up!
When I hit powerball I'm getting this installed in my new mansion 🤣
It feels strange to hear that indoor golf place, which we have been playing for a very long time, is still unfamiliar in the United States.
Indoor golf places like this can be found in every neighborhood in Korea.

Yah hopefully we get more of these. Especially here in California where golf is crazy expensive

Y’all are light years ahead of us and basically the rest of the world when it comes to golf stuff like this.

Theres one of these cool sims in my town! Doesnt have the good lookin food but they have the moving platform and different lies, super cool experience
If I had this at home, I'd honestly probably never play real golf again. Super cool!
They have places with these all over South Korea. Nice rooms with sofas. Could bring in food/drinks with you or even order delivery there. Super fun.
I had played in a simulator like this in 2014 when I was still a kid. It was a good experinece.
This makes the sims in my country feel prehistoric😂 I've seen these kinds of sim setups in south Korea. They even host televised Pro tournaments of simulator golf

putting is kind of shot though, I did it a bunch and you really have to throw that ball to get it to register sometimes
This feels like watching and ad, the sim is amazing though!
it's about $20-$30 a round in korea depending on when you go during the day
By far the coolest and most realistic Sim I've ever seen... Did the fact the hitting area wasn't in the middle make it any more difficult/confusing?
Wonder how much this entire setup would cost, time to start saving xD
is that hitting mat with the rough and sand specific to this simulator or can it be bought someplace?
The mats on the video is kinda old now in Korea . They have a new mat where mat your standing on is separated in 4 different zones and hitting area is separated in 2 zones. Do you have a link to the new hitting mat and the new sim?
A link would be greatly appreciated - just ran a couple searches and couldn't find anything.

I'm from Korea. There it's pretty much the same but it's individual rooms.
Reno NV needs this we have had top golf sim in a casino but this is just above any sim ive seen
I saw the palasades and immediately knew i was going there
the platform moves as you swing the club. lol
Will the Auto Tee let you pick a 1 3/4 or 2 or 2 1/4 high tee setting
Yes, you can adjust and it remembers the settings for each golfer!

You act like this whole video wasn’t a sponsored ad
It’s his job to hahah
@@zacharypaul-zx6oeya
@@crumbopulislol my thought too. I was like does this guy not understand how a collaboration works in social media.
When will this be in Vegas?
here where? which city?
No shit I watched this whole video and was like dang I wana try this. Ends up being 20 mins from my job! Deff guna try this place out
Enter our Sept 30 tournament there. We have about 15 spots left.
A place in south Florida just opened with these and they are amazing but they don’t have the dual sand trap types I wonder why that is
New model
Can it simulate my club flying across the fairway in frustration?
oh this is sick, never heard of this place but it looks like there is one pretty close to me in the DC area, gotta check this out
You'd be surprised how many places have this simulator tbh. I played at a place in Ohio that was awesome!
This is not even the lastest update of them. You guys need to see the Golfzon NX with motion plate with dual screen
“It’s so user friendly….ok can I have a 80 yard shot? Here’s a 98 yard shot!”🤦♂️
😂 Right !
They were on a course already. Pretty sure that was just for time-sake because of the video.
@@CertifiedPG possibly but in hindsight it probably would’ve been worth the time editing that part out 😂
There was a hazard there. They could only get so close before it started dropping off.
The Korean tech finally made it over...
are you able to adjust the tee height
good question!
Is this man 7ft or are y’all 5ft
The height difference between the two dudes was insane 😂
😆
I want to play so bad I used to play on my high school team. But now I don't have any clubs and it's really hard to get started again LOL
How did I not know about this place right in the palisades mall?!
It's pretty sick. If you're local, we're hosting a tournament here in Sept - www.golficity.com/register
@@Golficity yeah I live about 45 minutes away, over by the wallkill golf course. I'll have to look into it!
Golfzon has been around in Korea for literally 15 plus years lol
Looks awesome.
Unfortunately, I believe this is the future of golf as it becomes to expensive to maintain public golf courses. Nice to have both now.
Valid point. Seems less likely new courses will be built.
I'd love to know how much that all cost!
Starting at $70,000.00
omg thats palisades mall. bro u live near me i think lmao
The way the platform moves as you shift your weight needs to be mitigated
Crazy good 🔥🔥
듀얼 플레이트?? 5플레이트 경험하면 깜놀하시겠네요 ^^
There's a place in Omaha that something very ,very similar. Can't remember the name. Only went a couple times
Yeah we don't do them commercials round here!
I'm getting one of those soon
How much are they?

"im like a little kid here, i gotta take a shot"
when will the new titleist iron fitting video be released?
Few weeks!
Where are these places?
amazing . the future of golf will be indoors as they continue to sell public courses for building.
played Golfzon many times and I hit it 2 clubs farther in there so definitely not the most realistic at all.
this is so cool
How the fuck do I stumble upon this video randomly and it's at my local mall? I don't even watch golf videos
Hahaha. Do you golf?
@@Golficity Unfortunately no. I think I'd enjoy it but I just don't have the back (or money) for it

what is smash factor
Man I was actually doing some research trying to start my own business exactly like this just not 20 bays I was think like 6 lol
I mean it's about as cool and realistic as hitting a golf ball into a projector screen can be lol
This is how the majority of us in Seoul, South Korea play golf. Playing real golf is just too expensive for the avg Joe
Looks cool, but hitting with unstable ground below your feet is far from representative of the real course

Really cool simulator!! Nice review!!🏌♂⛳
Is that the palisades mall?
Yes!!
Would have guess that a better simulator has a big immersive screen...
Still need to add caddies

I bet that cost more than just going to a real golf course

wow that's awesome
I hope Rick Shiels and Peter Finch sees this.
Talk to me about the price of this thing?
Cool but will never be the same as real shot real smells .. holed out from 50 yards for an eagle what I feeling
The floor is literally bouncing as they try to set up for a shot/in backswing. Bad.
the sad part is that.. we koreans nearly perfected sim golf because its too freaking expensive to play real golf outside :(
hi
Ungodly expensive! I can play 18 holes at a real course 6x to equal the of just two hours at this thing.
looking to add a golf simulator for our Groomsmen room at our Wedding Venue.... what do yall think....
