4x 6.5" drivers are about the same surface than a 13" driver. People seem to not be aware of that. That's what explains the 20hz with ease at reasonable volume.
Thanks Ken, awesome review and pretty spot on explanation on what´s special about it! :) ...also loving the Knif preamp ... Jonte is the man!!! :) subscribed.
To be fair, it might not make any difference to you. They go loud enough with the boundary compensation off, so it might not make any difference to you at all! Great choice, I know I love mine
I use the remote unit that gives more options. My Lynx outputs digital aes to the Kii. But you can switch to analog on the same input. However, on the remote I have another computer sending audio via usb. I still have another sdif input option not used.
i still dont understand how to connect them to PC if they dont have usb inputs. can someone tell me how the hell connect all these damn speakers like dutch and dutch / kii three etc
What a huge doze of bullocks. Just you order a brand new desktop PC case, install a few drivers into it, get some Class-D amps, and voilá, there you have it. No reason to be riipped-off by yet another Germanic company. There are so many, so priiey, so much the rip-offs.
Thank you for being very clear about the ease of setup and overall balanced studio monitors.
Thanks
Excellent video. Great info and thorough review.
Thanks

Yep, with dsp correction it produces low bass at the expense of loudness.

Thanks Tom. Much appreciated. Yea, that preamp is over 10 years old and still my fave. Never regretted getting it. #Knif
Hello! What about delay? Kii say that it is 90ms it is very long delay. How it in studio work?
If you are talking about latency? Then you can set it latency free mode with a slight hit in quality
Cool video Ken! :D
Thanks
Why do you have absorbers behind them? They are much more efficient with a hard wall behind them for that nice overhead boost :)
I know, you’re so right. But for the moment I have to place to put the bass traps. Thanks for watching and I hope you’ll subscribe.

hi Ken, thanks for your nice explanation, so the kii only has aes input? if so your lynx aurora n has an aes output module?

@@kenjacobsenmusic clear now, thanks Ken!
Hi. Are those the power cables that come with the kii speakers?
No, they are audiophile cables.
thankyou!
You’re welcome
Have you heard ATC? If so, how do these compare?
Never mind, you addressed it in the video
buy the Kiis, I heard the ATC 110
@@cycleofficial4744 I actually went with evolution acoustics micro one's
The Kii replaced the ATC. Atc are a little sweeter in the upper mids and treble. Play louder as well. Everything else is better on the Kii

You’ll need the Kii remote. It has an USB port.
