Thanks for the video. I made my purchase on the back of your review and couldn't be happier. I had limited options in the UK to replace my Roborock S5 Max as Roborock models are largely unavailable. I now have the D10 and the self-emptying is painless and effective. The navigation seems to be a step up from the S5 and I'm genuinely surprised at the amount it picks up on even a short run. It probably defeats the point but I often follow it back to base and lift the lid to watch it empty. Perhaps I should get out more...
@@MrKasenom it works brilliantly as does the second one which I bought for upstairs! 😂. Both have been on a schedule of 6 days and have clocked up 13,181 and 1,712 minutes of operational time with only bag changes. The oldest managed to corrupt its map on 2 occasions which was an easy fix (10 minutes for a quick setup) and I will now map twice and save the backup in case it occurs again. Otherwise absolutely ecstatic!
Do this one work on several floors? We have 3 floors in our home. If yes, how does it work? You carry it to top floor, it does The job, then u pick it up to middle floor, same thing and then to base floor where docking station is?
Thanks for the great review! I currently own the z10 pro, mainly for cleaning up the sand and dirt my dog brings in from the hard floors. I find that after cleaning there’s still a thin layer of dust left and very fine grains of sand. Do you think the d10 would do a better job?
I do not know if you saw my review on the z10 Pro, but I found the pickup on hard floor surfaces to be pretty poor and while not the worst it is close. In my testing the D10 Plus did a better job. Thanks for your support!
I'd be really grateful if you can tell me if the autoempty station has a label on the bottom stating it can handle 240V. Amazon comments says it does but your video appears to say 110. I was hoping it was dual voltage
Liked and subdcribed. Does this also connect with google home? Id like to use the „clean a specific room“ voice command especially now that i found an unbelievable deal for it
Hey, I’m thinking of picking this up as a gift, but my friend is worried about it scratching up furniture. How does it compare to the roomba j7 and the roborock q5? Or even the z10 pro?
I have not tested the Q5 or J7, but I do have a review of the Z10 Pro. This sits below the Z10 Pro as the Z10 Pro has obstacle avoidance and a larger dust bin in the dock. The Q5 and the J7 do not mop, but the J7 does have obstacle avoidance.
Hi! I'm struggling to decide which robot to buy, my focus in cleaning cat litter, which one do you recommend? I liked D10 but it I watched other videos from you where the performance with cat litter was not that good (even with superior versions as Z10). Btw, super helpful you channel, congrats!
If you watch my previous video on the Q7 Max you can directly compare the performance in the tests I did. It is pretty close in performance. The mopping system on the Q7 Max is way better than the D10, but is it worth the extra cost? Bissel makes great shampoo machines that I have used for years, but I have never really tested any of their other stuff. I will add it to my list. Are the mopping pads disposable?
I just bought it and auto emptying showing error that upper cover is not closed or the dust collection nag is not installed. My device is not on DND mode too. It has not done auto emptying once... can you help me in locating the problem?? I seem to be stucked
Thanks for the review, I decided to bite the bullet thanks to it. Funny how this is considered a cheap robovacuum these days hehe. Hopefully it'll be a great step up from my first gen Neato that was 'ok' at best and my late iLife sub 200$ CAD that died after a year.
@@jamie.andrews Indeed, got it yesterday and had it do a full run. Very impressed with the result - no fail, well over 2 hours with plenty power left and a great job. The fact that the app lets you customize per room intensity and how many passes it does is really neat.
The attachment is the same, but I would not do it. The D10 bag is shaped differently. The compartment is designed for the shape of the bag and the D10 bad is long whereas the Z10 bag is tall so it would try and push the lid open on the d10 when getting full and break the vacuum seal. You would not get the benefit of the bigger bag as there is not enough room for it to expand.
Did you test the obstacle avoidance? Looks like there's a camera, so I wonder how well it stacks up against the Q series Roborocks Also, you forgot to link the promised Dreame app video
Loving it. I just bought this vacuum and it blew me away
Is this a good pick now? Which one would you recommend up to $500? Thank you.
This is a good choice for that price range. You may also look st the Roborock Q5 series.
@@jamie.andrews Thank you. Q5 or D10 in your opinion?
@@MilosMandic1987 D10 plus if you want and care about mopping. The Q5 does not have mopping. You would have to step up to the Q5 Pro Plus.

Hey Charles glad you are liking the D10. I really like Dreametech products. Glad I was able to help you out!
how is it working for you a year later?

Can I get the auto empty bin after, a separate perchance??
No this is a combo unit.

Only says 120v on the bottom of mine. Mine could be a US spec though.

The D10 is much better that the Z10 Pro with cat litter. It is a good choice for this. Thanks for your support and kind words!
Would be good to compare this to the Q7 Max+
There is also a new Bissell Robot Mop called the ReadyClean A3.

@@jamie.andrews The Bissell has both washable and disposable pads, however, the selling point of this robot is the auto pad replacement dock.

If the bag is fully installed and the lid is fully closed I have no clue other than I suggest returning it or contacting support.
What robot would you recommend for a home with mixture of carpet and hard surface, featuring lots of children and lots of toys everywhere?
Roborock S7 MaxV

This does not have a camera or object avoidance. I will add the link to the app walk though. Thanks for informing me.
@@jamie.andrews Thanks Jamie! I really appreciate your approach to these videos, the attention to detail and repeatability is terrific
Watet tank is too small.
I would only use this for smaller homes with light mopping as it is a budget model.
I'll stick with my Roborock S7 plus for the win 🏆
