My man, I just bought this and I'm really excited to see how it performs. Also. You sound exactly like David Chase, writer of the Sopranos. Pretty dope
I just now bought one of these on outlet. I live with 2 furry kitties which is me usually running around daily with a vacuum. now if this can map around my intricate small 50 isch km2 apartment and do some vacuuming and please god let it be a awesome way for my cats to get around the apt. i'll be happy. I dont mind taking some heavy cleaning with regular vacuum and bucket and mop, if i just don't have to manually vacuum everyday, im good. also thanks for the review! Will update what the catlords think of this machine xoxo meow
I was looking at the Roborock S7 (w/o dustbin), but with the newer Dreame's, I have been second guessing. Pricing being similar, would you recommend the D10, Z10, or S7?
It depends if you want mopping. If you do, the S7. If not, D10+. The Z10 has laser based object avoidance and costs more, but the D10 cleans hard floors a tiny bit better and is less expensive, and otherwise the same. I'd get the D10.
I had the same dilemma. I have just got the S7. But I am scared that it will be a hassle to empty its dustbin myself every time... Maybe having the self-emptying bin compensates a mediocre mopping in the everyday use...
@@MrRoombato You are killing me here... Was set on the D7 but not fussed re the mopping, TBH the mopping features on these robots seem more hassle than a manual mop, and the D10+ is a lot cheaper. OTOH I like the bagless autoclean station for the D7 and it seems to tangle less (lot of long hair in our place). The decision paralysis is real :)
@@blackpaw29 You mean S7? Unless you mean the MaxV, I would actually get the Dreame. The auto empty system is significantly more robust. At least in my experience.
I'm reviewing it now, releasing video soon. It's pretty great, but they didn't put a light on it, so it's not good at object avoidance at night. Dumb. Also, it's as good a mop as anything out there except the Roborock. Apparently scrubbing beats spinning. But not having to add detergent to the water is nice, and the detergent thing lasts a long time.
I reached out to them, but they haven't responded. I've had some issue lately that prevented me from making videos, for a couple of months. Maybe that's why.
So if I rearrange my living furniture every couple of months what's the best vaccum for me? No carpets, have rugs and some are low profile and lvp flooring. Wanting self emptying, perfer bagless, but am open to bags. My daughter has hair like cousin It and we have 3 small chis, so one that can deal with that mess. What do you recommend?
When you say “really need object avoidance”, what do you specifically mean? I am deciding between z10 pro and d10+ and the only important difference seems to be this. I would like it to avoid for example toys and still clean around, but is that what object avoidance is about? What will d10 do when it encounters a toy? Thanks and sorry for the dumb question….
Hey, I’m thinking of picking this up as a gift, but my friend is worried about it scratching up furniture. How does it compare to the roomba j7 and the roborock q5?
Hi, could you do a test/review for Roidmi EVA? Another fully autonomous robot vac to compete with S7 MaxV Ultra & X1 Omni. But I believe the Roidmi has no obstacles avoidance and front facing camera for home monitoring.
I can't recommend a Dreame since mine had a hardware failure. Ironically my cheapest robot the Ihome nova is the most reliable. The new Ihome models even have a vibrating mop for under $250 with self emptying bin.
Sorry you had experience. Every Dreame product I have has been flawless and is still running strong, some almost a year of daily use later. And I don't expect them to fail anytime soon. Perhaps not ever within several years of expected service life.
Well it doesn't have or claim to have object avoidance, so that's to be expected. As for carpet...if you have a lot of it, this is the wrong robot for you. The only mop and vac that will work for you, I mean a real one not your typical wet pad dragger, is the Roborock s7 or s7 maxV. They can lift the mop and vacuum carpets, then lower it again on hard floors.
You said this robot is th one to buy.... that's misleading because when people buy these robots are due to vacuum and mopping qualities....so this robot failed the mopping test...m
There are two kinds of mopping robots. Real mopping robots (S7, S7 MaxV, X1 OMNI, W10, etc.) and "mopping" robots, like this one. If it drags an unmoving pad behind it, it's not a mopping robot. As far as I'm concerned, these robots don't mop. There is no reason at all to use them for "mopping." So to me, these are robot vacuums only. The "mop" is a marketing gimmick. This is the best pure vacuum robot I've tested since the Z10, and considering its price, this is definitely the one to buy if you want a robot vacuum. If you want a mop or vac/mop combo, you'll need to spend a lot more money.

It will be great. I love this robot. I gave it to my daughter to take to college and I want it back lol.
How is your D10 Plus doing with the kitty hair so far, @Simon Runner? I'm thinking about picking one of these up too.
@@bnice7 Oh sadly i had to return it. It didn't quite work due to my apartment being too "complicated" for it to navigate :(
@@bnice7 It's doing great. Dreame's self empty dock design is, in my opinion, the best in the industry.
Would the vacume be the same as the d10s? Because i would rather have a regular docking station. Or am i better off with a roborock q7 max?

Please review the Dreametech L10S Ultra, I wanna know what you think of it. Also do you still have that Neato D3?

Depends on what you want to spend, but this D10 is a great choice.
Between the Shellbot SL60 and the Dreame D10 Plus, do you have a preference? would one be better for hardwood or carpet?
D10+, no question. The Shellbot is good, but the D10 has a better app and a phenomenal auto-empty dock.
Unless you really need object avoidance, like really. But then I'd get something more expensive with a camera and AI.

So do you recommend this or the L10 Pro?
L10 pro doesn't have a self empty dock, so definitely this.
Thx buddy

It's probably very similar to Q5 and much better than the Roomba. I wouldn't worry about furniture.
wow how bad did the cat kick it's ass at 6:16 so that it ended upside down !
