This song means so much to me I can’t even explain. Every lyric, every word, every note, every snare hit. It’s my addiction wrapped up into a song. And a great song to listen to when trying to get sober.
@@Will-xt9gj LOL... dude... this is 4 years after the White Stripes. It's an obvious rip-off. And no, it's not even close to, or as good as the white stripes. This is some generic trash that's a mix between the white stripes and a shitty blues band. (I like who shortly after this, Dan ditched his telecaster and started playing "vintage" guitars and amps. Weird coincidence that jack white was doing that as well). 2:05 am I taking crazy pills??? He's just trying to be the white stripes. There's NOTHING dissimilar about it, except that he's doing it worse.
he's definitely really good here. there's quite a few examples live where his timekeeping is pretty bad. and his technique is pretty bad at pretty much all times. he also doesn't play that dynamically. but I will say he writes some pretty awesome drum parts and sounds great on the studio recordings. it would be naive to say he doesn't have flaws. he's pretty bad for the level of success they are at right now. but at the end of the day they have written tons of amazing songs and his drumming is more than good enough to serve the songs they write. them selling out stadiums and topping the charts for years proves this.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! Such a superior quality one! Back when the Keys were still hungry! Nothing against how they are now, but man nothing beats the rawness and full fuzzed out grit these guys used to have
This is my favourite live performance of a music from The Black Keys. It already existed in youtube but in far more inferior quality. Thanks so much for this!!!
Not to sound hipster or anything, but the Black Keys are definitely one of those bands where fans have some work to do if they weren't introduced until an album like Brothers or El Camino. Not to say those albums aren't as good because they are more mainstream, but there is quite a lot of material to then find before that. It's sort of like anyone catching up on R.E.M. in 1991 if their first intro was Out of Time.
I was lucky enough to see them open for Radiohead back in 06, had no idea who they were and I've been a fan ever since. Great live energy & real rockin' blues riffs blew my mind. It was such a pleasure to experience them live that it cemented them, in my mind, that they were better then the records and imo they still are!
rubber factory is perfect from start to finish. some days i just have the whole album on repeat.
I feel sorry for your ears
@@olas591 what hahaha
Same
One of my all-time favorites.
@@olas591 Feel sorry for your own ears...
For all the kids out there who've never experienced The Black Keys.
This is how you do it.

Good luck on your quest of sobriety man, great you have a banger to listen to whilst🔥
Rubber Factory is still one of my favourite albums. Every song is 10/10.
They were the best band in the world that year. This album is so good.
They're not The White Stripes as I can see.
Dark Jesy nope, they’re even better than the white stripes
@@Will-xt9gj fair enough (no)
Dark Jesy no, according to you. it’s all a matter of opinion what’s good or bad or better or worse.

Love'em
Back in the days when Dan had The Hoof full bore roaring on his pedal board.
In those days it was the sovtek big muff
Whenever someone tells me that Pat Carney is a bad drummer I show them this.
they have a lot of early live shows where he is really locked in

So glad they were able to break it bigger and move up from Ohio Public Access Television.
LMAO
it's 2021 and they look so damn young..still on eof my favorite songs of all time.,.love the fuzz pedal....i'll die with mine in my grave
Incredible. Diggin it!

You're welcome.
Anything by the Black Keys I love
His guitar tone on the record was perfection. He’s got his fuzz pedal set to “mud” here.
It's all the way up to 11

No problem, you're welcome.
Géniale i am fan
One of few bands that still rock today......thanks guys!
Gosh this is amazing
I love their floppy hair!
love this song
Linda época, en la que Dan sólo se colgaba su Telecaster.
Telecasters are amazing guitars
Learnt this from the video. Thanks
Ok. Thank you for your comment.
Without seeing the video, I would have never thought that he finger picks on this song.
That's why it sounds like if there were two guitars at the same time, his dexterity is off the charts.
Rock and Roll!
Crazy that Dan was 24 lol
Jesus Christ, James Ellroy was featured too that night!
They’re just babies here.
That Tele is so hot

Black keys stepping onto star: “wait this isn’t a garage”
The Show 06 anyone???
hell yeah
Killer tone, fuck…..
Patrick destroying the drums sounds so good
No overheads?!
While my teisco gently weeps
What pedal is he using during the chorus?
Pretty sure it’s a sovtek. Whatever it is, it’s got a hell of a lot of fuzz.
Dan looks like Shaggy. Lol
Oh what happened fellas?
I hope for his sake that guitar is at least 18 years old.
MLB 06 The Show!
No bass 👌
I truly hate this new era, there's no talent anymore. Very sad
