Thanks again! And as two experienced DF players we totally did not spend 5 minutes trying to figure out how to open the stocks menu and then edit it out 😂
WAIT you're the one behind archcrystal?? Oh god, I really need to tell you something. Last year I started reading 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The book was written in the late 60's, and somehow it has a BUNCH of stuff that weirdly has parallels to archcrystal. Thats pretty much it. It's a very specific observation, I just wanted you to know about it and maybe recommend the book if you haven't read it. It's very good.
@@blipboigilgamesh7865 I have read 100 Years of Solitude! Probably about 20 years ago and I was young maybe about 20 years old so it kinda went over my head at the time. But yeah because Archcrystal had to be a generational story I remember writing certain chapters and thinking that the structure was similar. It also gave me some relief because I figured if that structure worked in another story, that it could hopefully work in this one as well. Cool that you saw that connection!
Archcrystal truly is a masterpiece of the highest craftsdwarfship👌 It really inspires me and i bet it inspired many other people as well and will probably continue to do so! Well done Sethatos 👏and thank you Blind for giving such amazing insight👍
The interview I never realised I needed to hear :-) Actually only a quarter the way through and need to get some sleep, but very much looking forward to finishing it tomorrow!
Do you have any tips on how to have more fun with DF? I feel like I've hit a dead end after breaching into the circus because that was the big thing everyone's all hush hush about, and now that I know what it is, it feels like I don't have any big discoveries left.
Build cool stuff, then build dumb stuff. Or do some stupid challenge like, lock 7 peasants into a self sufficient vault and see how long it can last before you need to crack it open, or just copy real world architecture. Ziggurat of Ur be beautiful.

How dare you out our secrets D:
Thank you for the edit I guess. Though I'm sure you had an interesting conversation while waiting.
It was a lot of uhh... uhhmmm... where was that button?! I uhh.. wait.. found it!

man i remember reading the archcrystal thread way back when. love this series
Super cool for the OG to come back for commentary!
Epic is all I could say. Thanks for putting together the videos about Archcrystal.
this was great! Informative and interesting, thanks so much Sethatos and Blind for taking the time to make this! :)
Having the slightest idea of how much work it has been is enough for this to be awe-inducing.
Woot! Very cool stuff guys!

Get that sleep.
22:30 i think this is the most metal thing I've ever heard in my entire life
Amazing man!
I had some ideas for ice traps, with fortifications and 2x2 exposed corridors.
Hearing Sethatos is making a fort on ice makes me hype.
Wow, this was great, both the story and walkthrough, really enjoyed it!
Legendary!
I need a bloodline fortress story in my life!
I love your lore videos!!
4:39 230 million dorf bucks!?
I got 34 million!
(32 million may or may not have been 2 stacks of thousands of lavish meals)
