I love the little connections they throw in to episodes. I have often noticed them but it's good to know I have backup in case I miss a few. These videos never get old.
In the episode "Last Christmas" a character talks about the movie Alien. The 12th Doctor replies "There’s a horror movie named Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everybody keeps invading you."
I love how at 11:45 you mention random Easter eggs when one is happening on screen - that mask that Twelve is pulling off is based on Matt Smith's face!
Great video, found this really interesting! I wouldn't say these two episodes are fully connected, but I love how at the end of the series 10 episode Empress of Mars, they show a portrait that resembles the pauline collins version of queen victoria from Tooth and Claw! Thanks Ellie and Who Culture! 😊😊
So this whole video could've been very confusing. It was really clear and concise on all combinations of dates and Doctors. Great video and scripted brilliantly in a way that was very easy to follow.
“The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe” and “In the Forest of the Night”. Sparkly talking trees? Oh, and the trees owe the human race a debt because Madge saved them, so they save humanity. (Not to mention that assuming they ended up in Earth’s past, they need to keep history going so that Madge actually gets born.)
@@GabePuratekuta I can just picture the Doctor whipping out his psychic paper on Batman and he just stares back at him like "that shit won’t work on me." Think the scene when Tennent met Shakespeare, then replace Martha Jones with Robin.
when talking about the Alien xenomorph. when they show the long shot of the hall (just after the shot of Dr and rose stood infront of the egg's case), is that a full sized xenomorph head in the second case down on the left. It looks like it has some sort of pattern on its head, but it sure does look similar to a xenomorph
Here's one : "Tooth and Claw" and "Voyage of the Damned", by way of "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy". In the latest, the Doctor meets a werewolf played by Jessica Martin. The actress did the voice of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second in "Voyage of the Damned". Which means that she's a werewolf by way of Queen Victoria in "Tooth and Claw". A bit far-fetched, I know, but still funny, don't you think ?
That sounds like a perfect aspect to a doctor who game... Where the solution to levels have to be stolen from earlier or even later levels. Just a generic play through the events of doctor who episodes we already seen before but with some added context like stealing the jukebox from Cassandra.
I think the juke box in Eddie's Diner in Cardiff bay belonged there, rather than being the prop seen in End of the World and the current Tardis. But it closed down about 6 or 7 years ago, so my memory might be playing tricks on me.
When you're talking about the Xenomorph, don't forget the Christmas special "Last Christmas" in your linking. "There's a horror movie called Alien? That's really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you!"
@@mariaschell6941 the article noted a cameo by the xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise in Doctor who. And Weyland Utani and YoYo Dyne are the main corporation in the Aliens Universe so it's not out of the question that they own the factory in the Crimson Horror.
Does that make the Alien franchise and Doctor Who CANON!!!???? 😂 Maybe a pararelle universe? 😅 The 12th Doctor also says "you made a horror movie called Alien? No wonder everyone wants to invade you!" 🤣🤣 H.R. Giger created that Alien design as he had a nightmare about it. Ridley Scott created the 1st Alien film, it kinda makes sense comparing the Xenomorphs to the Daleks though 👍 Also i like the Jukebox one, i really like that theory! I didn't even think about that. + the timewindow connection one, that's a cool connection.
in the bells of Saint John the book Artie or Angie reads is written by Amelia Williams which would be Amelia ponds legal name if she took Rorys last name
@whoCulture - (SPOILERS for those that haven't seen 11's (Matt Smith's) era!!) two more connected AND a theory for you Ellie, a bit complicated, but go with me - End of Time Pt 1&2 and Day of the Doctor - we learn through End of Time, that at some point in the Time-War, (called "T/W"), the Time Lords, (called "T/L"), want to "ascend to become creature's of consciousness alone" because Rascilon doesn't want to die, so he plans to do it for himself and the High Council, what if, the War Doctor knew of this plan while fighting in the T/W, obviously without 10 or 11's help, and he used the Moment NOT to end the war, BUT stop the T/L's from ascending, and causing more chaos then they did in the T/W? i mean, given EVERYTHING that happened in the T/W, there COULD of been a time-line where somebody got a peek at that possible future and the Doctor found out, besides, the universe would be more dangerous if they had succeeded in the plan
Thats... odd. The last one. That seems to make The Xenomorph at least in some form, canon to Dr Who, but that can't be because the movies of Alien are canon to Dr Who, as they are referenced in an episode. So... are the movies somehow referencing a species that also exists out in the universe of Dr Who? how?
4:30 Ever wonder why we call the smallest unit of time after "the one who follows the first? You have an hour, then you have the first (mono) smaller part, the minute. Then you have the second smaller part.
I totally missed that absolute historical inaccuracy and misogynistic slander in The Witchfinders. Mary Queen of Scots did not kill Darnley. I wasn’t a fan of The Witchfinders, James VI didn’t hunt witches in England, only Scotland. There’s a reason a few hundred were killed in England and two and a half thousand were killed in Scotland.
It doesn't say 10 episodes. It says "Even MORE Doctor Who episodes you didn't know were connected" as they've already used that title they put a ten in front of it so we know it's ten new pairs of episodes.
The End of Time - Part One and The End of Time - Part Two
WHAT?! You’re JOKING! 🤣
they don't want you to know about the secret The End of Time - Part Three
Woah no way
How did I not notice that?!?!?
Truly mind-blowing

I screenshotted that line when I first heard it, in a 12th Doctor's best lines video. I mean he isn't wrong in this case😂
Came to post same thing 😊
12 knew the Xenomorph was an allegory for Scotsmen.

Suddenly, a crossover between Aliens and Doctor Who sounds both plausible and terrifying.
"What do you mean face huggers?! They're more like... throat tubers.... no that's bad, face huggers it is."
You should be a writer for doctor who @@haddy106

I personally think it was Agatha all along.

But Ellie's always been the sole member of the channel.
Thank you Ellie. In a world of "mer-kin" and "Bri-ish" accents, your crisp diction is most welcome!

Hey does anyone remember the old Doctor Who website comic creator from between the mid 2000’s to early 2010’s? I really miss that
Doctor might have an extra issue with xenomorphs, seeing as we know who they first chest-bursted out of...
(Fan Theory) SCP-173 is related to the Weeping Angels.
Isn't every ClassicWho episode technically connected, since they were regularly multi-parters? ;-P
Interesting that the UNIT tower looks the same as the Avengers tower.
Huh, so a Rel is 1.2 seconds? Always wondered about that one.
still think it was a massivly missed opportunity by the olimpics not to have David tenant light the beacon.
How did the Alien prop get in the jar, The Doctor looks at?
9:54 isn’t that said in The Doctor Falls after the doctor wakes up in the Tardis
Einstein wasn't a physicist he was a mathematician...
It's amazing how many videos yall can make without Any new content from the Who

Didn't the xenomorph pop out of the War Doctor ?
I think that was spaceballs.
I wonder which wiki they used; the Fandom one or the forked one?
The one who finished the race in last place, finished the race.
pretty sure every time i watch one of these vids i fall for Ellie way more

The Alien/ Xenomorph references are kinda funny when you consider that the Doctor didn’t know about the film Alien until season 8 episode 13

One mistake you combined Dr Who which ended with Capaldi with the followup series Dr Why as in why is this mess still going.
