I'm new at coin hunting. Spend most of my day studying channels like yours. Out of the hundreds of videos I've watched and studied " including yours, this by far was the most detailed and helpful I've seen. I learned more in this short video than I would have spending hours in the red book or error book. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
By the way Daniel I think your videos are awesome and you do the newest matic community you're one of the first people and I started watching videos and I mainland look for weed wax double ds and wheat back errors. Your videos and knowledge have been invaluable to me thank you for all you do sincerely Chris
Thanks Daniel the information I received from you seems to help me understand just a little bit more every time I hear you speaking about different areas but I need to know a whole lot more about it thanks a lot have a good day
Its been a heavy coin day so I strike up a video, listen and watch while working on coins. No wonder I cant get my coins taken care of.. lol Wished they would put episode numbers on them.
Hello Dan 👋🏾 Woooohooo lol OMG You can't believe how many times and still rewatching your video because I recently got lucky and bought lots of Wheaties and needed tons of coin education on Wheaties and have found some strange error that I can't find , but the DDO and DDR imagine Clue's you showed nice .. lol I found one that Chuck discovered 😁 thanks for the info and video 👍🏽🌵
Excellent presentation, narration and information! I'm now better equipped with a deeper understanding of what to and not to look for. Thank you for the education. Take care!
Wish you could look at my 1929. I do know it's in red with some brown patches but the coin is in excellent ship my 1955 is in good shape and brown all the way and I have many more and I really enjoy but would love to sell some. I also have some of the 1960s and some w/printing errors a 1982 that's amazing errors. I've got some really nice coins including dimes, buckles, and quarters but pennies are my faves. Love your show
The only reason I have any of these older pennies is because of a coin dealer in Paul’s Valley Oklahoma. What a sweetheart of a man. He gave me, yes gave me an old coin collectors book starting with 1919. All the mints are there and at the time I really didn’t understand what he gave me. We did visit for a long while and I did buy some buffalo nickels from him but I just wanted to share my story of the kindness of strangers is still alive ... I hope he is still doing business right there off the exit. I if anyone is passing through stop in and say hello for me. 😃 And if you’re headed south be sure to pull off at Davis and get ya a fried pie. Yum 😋
These I’m going through but they are a little bit harder for me because I thought that some of them were just like squashed numbers etc over time And certainly not doubled. Now I have my work cut out for me as I have piles and piles of coins and it’s overwhelming me I put them in piles but they own merged somehow and I have to do it again, ugh, the pain of it! Thank you for the websites to really view along with me so that I don’t feel so overwhelmed and lost, I couldn’t find them on my own, and I tried and I kept winding up in the wrong places I’ll let you know how it goes....thank you Daniel

I've got a 1929 with like a serial number on it across the middle of the coin? A friend that collects coins is amazed with it do u by any chance know anything about that ?

Hey David (I hope I remembered your name correctly). I enjoy your videos a ton. Do you have a written list of all these coins that you are willing to share?
There are so many sites that "CLAIM" to have unsearched wheat cents but are there 2 or 3 that you would recommend bulk from? Tks for the video, keep em coming, (you may not wantta do it live I understand that)
Can you explain to me what's with these coins that look like they were painted at one time, red, mostly pennies but I have them in many different coins, some light red some deep red, some just one side some both.
I have a 1929 no mint, Lincoln cent. 1929 is doubled and I have searched every where for another coin with this issue. Any suggestion on where to look? Thanks for your vids
Hi Daniel, I was going threw my Indian cents and came across a couple that I need some info about them one is a 1887 that is half the thickness and it's 1.36 g both obverse & reverse designs are all there but not clear and the reverse has lines that kinda looks like corduroy pants but printed in the design, I had the coin for about 25 years and never noticed it before.Have you seen or heard about a coin like that and any idea about the value on a coin like this
Hey Daniel I been trying to get in touch with you regarding some questions about some coins I had for along time I'm not a collector or anything like that but I just had them in my wallet I 1943 1946 and i had a jart of penny's but one's I came across your channel I started to look and searching with my lil ones my boys like going through all this pennies I have some also 1992 1996 1998 1999 2000 2019
I have a 1920 penny in excellent condition that's just been sitting around for a while. It doesn't have a mint mark or whatever the terminology is. Idek what to do with it or get it graded or etc. And suggestions would help.
Unless it's uncirculated then it's not worth having graded and even then it's a common date and just a coin to fill a hole in a collection. My video here explains the dates that are worth something. ua-cam.com/video/Ht1pvJB9Zj4/v-deo.html
David @ coinhelp U- love your channel man. There is a live Q+A that I am part of. You would be a great addition to the show. We take questions and people send in pics of varieties to go over. Can I email you about it?
Thanks again Daniel that apps did work!! Really grateful for your help!! , When I hit the big 1 , we'll even it up!! . Keep up the good work!, God bless you, family!!. Stay carful!!.😎😎!!!!.
I have a lot of coins old coins new coins from the early 1900s up and he's done nickels quarters I just now looking for errors strikes stuff I know nothing about I did get a microscope is there any kind of book or literature I can get on the coins what to look for on the years or anything that can help me I'm just starting out I have jugs and jugs of coins to go through I'm 62 I've been saving coins since I was probably seven
Bro I got a wheat penny from 1920 I can't tell the difference if it's brown or red I really don't know too much about coins I found it in my yard and then I found another one from 1930 in my pocket like a week later I need some help buddy
A black penny is environmental damage and there's no error for a black penny. You want to look for doubled dies and such, that is where the value is going to be. An off metal would be on a silver planchet or steel planchet, something like that.
I found a beautiful 1982 NMM 3.1 grams small date . I need to send pics to you but I dont have social media accounts , and I have only email. If possible contact me back with info before i send it for grading

When looking through old pennies and looking for double dies what's the best way to clean the dirt out of the cornersof the letters and numbers
You can gently use a tooth pick, but be very careful. You can scratch the patina.
