Crazy that we all though the delay was a major length in time but this year has been zooming so fast that we still can’t wrap our heads around the fact that we’re a month out from the final shape.
Right? Everyone was talking about how long the time span was, but I couldn't help but think we had been through long seasons before so no biggie. 6-7 months is time I wouldn't care to waste, but people just forget how fast time can go by, especially when complaining.

If you wanted the bright dust, you would have turned them in already. There's no max on bright dust

All these players talking about bounty prep "like hey if you have 30 minutes."
Most people want to just play the game and not farm bounties or waste the time to grab them ... shit some people only have 30 minutes to play ...

@@JTKing77I have enough time to do bounties but not a ton of time in general. Just please god if you are one of the players who can’t do bounties or play more than 30 minutes on a normal day- don’t be on LFG or discord trying to day 1.
You really don’t need to bounty prep unless you’re a pro gamer going for worlds first in the raid. Otherwise it’s not deep at all
I have more problems with the point, that these bounties and the weekley challenges were the only normal way to get some bright dust. I hope you can still get it in the Final Shape

Prepped a month ago and didn't pick up a single crucible, gambit, or strike bounty when I did it. All set.

@@soldado23 most of them are only 2, but some vendors have rotating ones, those you can keep farming. Destiny recibes is a great website to keep track
@@soldado23 there are set weeklies on each vendor. Basically only europa, dreaming city, and clan bounties rotate. rest can be done in 1 week
Europa is 4 bounties - 1 set and 1 rotating (3 week cycle)
Dreaming city is 7 bounties - 1 set and 1 rotating (6 week cycle)
clan is rng iirc, hope to get what you want
I'm gonna miss having Cosmo on the destiny team. I remember way back in the early days I was chatting in the bungie forums and Cosmo would interact with something posted by little old me. Total beacon of the community. Glad to see he's still gonna be close by for whoever the next CM for destiny will be; but end of an era for sure.
No point in bounty prepping when Bungie's just going to disable the most OP artifact mods for day 1 anyway.
Good God, the shiny farm is brutal. All of my shinies have terrible rolls and the base versions are pretty rough too.
I am _so_ glad I don't care about shinies. I've gotten godrolls on all the weapons I care about except for Edge Transit (need envious assassin + bait and switch) and that's good enough for me. I've only gotten a handful of shinies and they've all been garbage.

The bounty thing hurts but not a big deal since we have almost a month. The cozmo thing really hurts though. I really hope they get someone great. I wasn't a big fan of liana at first but by the time she left I was sad to see her go.

The only Final Shape prep I'll be doing is Exotic Engrams for Rahool new vendor system. I just can't be bothered to do bounties, haven't since Beyond Light.

I have never done a bounty prep, I got better ways to spend my time. Damn game already felt like a 2nd job.
I focus on ++ bounties and fill up with + after that. Main benefit of the tower was to hand in 8 to auto complete the challenge. You can get 8+ from gunsmith over 2-3 days

I feel you. My RNG luck is horrible. I got my 2nd ever shiny drop last night since Onslaught started....and of course, it wasn't the weapon I had even focused nor had good perks on it. Meanwhile my friend got 4 shiny weapons in a row with 3 of them being "God rolls".

I never did any prep for previous expansions and i was always successful on day 1 in the raid. I would be doing prep for this one with there only being 3 days but i cant get the time off work so there is no point in doing it this time either!

I have never kept vanguard, crucible and gambit bounties because of the bug with the weekly engrams. You can easily get full on bounties by just picking up the destination bounties and they are super easy to finish.
I was already prep a season ago. I just never turned them in so I’m all set.

idc bout the bounties, but i am farming up these borders i can now get, so far its been fairly fast id say im about 25% way on most of the weps now nearly a few i focused have more completion
I wouldn’t bounty prep normally, but when they wanna release the raid so soon and I will start new job next month, this is kinda fuckin up with my time. But then again, after completing the legend campaign you only need to like 5 more levels.

It's definitely worth bounty farming even if you don't do the day one raid.. helps you level up the artifact quicker to unlock the mods that make the best builds.

I don’t want marathon to fail necessarily, but I don’t care for it. I started playing Destiny when I was a teenager in highschool, in 2014. I still play now, about to graduate university in June. Destiny is so special to me and I have met so many people through it. There are a lot of guys like me who feel the same way, so marathon is just this thing we’re not interested in.

Trials should count as ritual. The “ritual drops” mods work in trials. The core/prism ghost mods.
Sucks to see Cozmo shift away from Destiny, but he hasn't Really been forward facing in the community for a while. It was mostly DMG And Hippy, and now it seems to be Andy thats the forward facing member of the communications team.

I watch Aztec all the time but, I'm a super casual player that completely disregards all advice and raids and dungeons and prep for expansions, I just experience the baseline expansion/seasonal content and have a blast.

One thing that Bungie slept on was better character features for bright dust or glimmer. I feel this character look screen is so lacking .
Honestly? Since the lay off's it seems Bungie did indeed get the right people to stay. A lot of these people leaving Destiny 2 seem to have contributed to the messes on top of messes. The teams right now are cooking constantly and seem to be the better.

Dismantle them, if you collect 5 of them you can shape it. Unless its got perks you like on it then you can just extract the pattern without dismantling

Some people completed these bounties? You dont want to do that for any seasonal prep. You want out of the way bounties like planetary because youre gonna have to do strikes crucible and weapon bounties anyway.

Honestly, if you’re not trying to place for a day one, don’t do bounties. A solid team should be able to complete the day one in time without any bounty prep.

3:26 cross you need to get rid of those quests you're not doing, you could have more bounties if you get rid of the quest. You see the bottoms is 63 total quests and bounty capacity, you're shooting yourself in the foot right now
