People need to realize that running to the next area they need to get the radiolaria plants. I don't know how many times I try collecting the plants only to be joined to the the team.
For real. Took me multiple runs just to get a chance to use the piston to progress my quest, was able to to use it last second but didn't have enough time to collect the materials before joining allies
Yep pissed me off as soon as I used a hammer charge I was pulled forward and lost the charge without being able to collect plants. Dumb design by Bungie
Hopefully that will get changed eventually. I havent actually seen what the class items look like on my characters yet so I can't say if I like the look or not lol.

i agree i am so pissed, i get advertised something before buying i wanna be able to get it once it's out without further barriers, as a solo player i basically got scammed out of exotic class items, i love destiny and all but if they don't make another way to have it as solo players, the next expansions i will follow trough youtube as videos i think. I don't know how we did it, but we were able to load into instances where the countdown timer was totally gone from certain sections. Not sure if it was just a visual bug or not, but it's happened multiple times
The exotic mission timers aren’t bad but this new activity timer is kinda annoying especially with how the enemies are power 2020 and the cap is 2005 so your 15 under with that timer
Also the Expert level Breach Executable seaonal activity is matchmade and has the most generous loot I've seen in a long time. I have gotten a red border from almost every completion, as well 5-7 other seasonal legendary drops
I mean some activities have higher caps than others? 1995 is the cap for this. But not for a GM for instance. If you go into a GM at 1995 you'll get cooked.
Heads up, the Enigma Protcol SAYS 2005. But, when you get to the orb mechanic room, when you die the enemy level says something much higher than 2005. With that said, our team power level was around 1098 and I completed it with matchmade randoms. The yellow triangles and timekeeper spawns will save your run. Especially in the pink orb room there are 3 or 4 triangles
For Enigma Protocol, you don't need to do any of that other shit lol you just need to go to the Well of Echoes and go through the doorway. It says to go to the Well of Echoes in the quest text. Just go straight there and get started.
First time I did enigma protocol the timer was bugged out and not counting down and then randomly kicked my team during the boss fight. Every time after that it just felt like there wasn't enough yellow diamonds to extend the time 😕

As of week of release, the Breech Executable Expert difficulty does NOT reward or progress the Pinnacle reward or even the 'Any difficulty' reward. Yes, you CAN use the Skimmer in the sparrow part of the Enigma mission.

Im liking the Episodes are bigger, it clearly shows Im disliking how so far its just a big season. I was excited to get some content diversity in there. (To be fair, I'm assuming Echoes started development as a season considering the timeline)
Cross I got one for you. Warlock build with get away artist. Arc grenade needed. Consumer the arc grenade and use your class ability to make a solar buddy, and you will get both at the same time. Arc terret and solar motar
We found this randomly when we were asked to spawn into Nessus, and it was THE coolest hidden mission I've seen in a loooooong time. Bungie is absolutely COOKING with the Final Shape. Between Campaign story, Exotic Class Item mission, and new activity, this is THE BEST DLC Destiny has ever launched

Best dlc is a huge stretch. Forsaken still far surpasses this for me. But it is a getting closer to quality content again. Beats Witch Queen which was a low bar to pass. Shame that Bungie only tries making halfway decent content when people are abandoning the game just to try to get people back. They should be trying to make good content consistently to retain players instead.

Episodes are just seasons on the level of Black Armory, Drifter, and Opulence. That isn't bad, but so many things still follow the seasonal format like timegated quests and such. I get that this episode is gonna have less than the next two most likely as it launched with TFS and that's fine but we're only getting 3 weeks of story for each act, although it seems like they will be longer for each week than season generally were. also *SPOILERS* Exodus Crash is FINALLY getting it's rework, but it's weird that Inverted Spire isn't given the theme of the season, would've been great to see the lore around that strike get fleshed out more
Yes to both. Bunch of unique and strong rolls from the new loot, and the old loot is pretty alright too. Lost Signal is also very cool; it's a special ammo grenade launcher that shoots in a burst of 5 shots that leave damaging zones wherever they land. Pretty great for add-clear, but its real value is in PvP in my opinion. Unlike Witherhoard leaving a single puddle, while Lost Signal doesn't deal as much damage, you can spread the zones out and make it very difficult for enemy teams to avoid randomly getting chunked for 75% of their health off of one, or even die if they don't react in time.
Funny, i didnt know you could decipher those vex messages, i just read the description of the quest saying “last known report was in the Well of Dust” went there and found the portal that way. :P
All of the assets in the wall makes it seem like we will enter some kind of Vex Simulation of Earth or the Last City at some point. At least thats the vibe I am getting. They are getting these assets to create the simulation and this is the storage.
Can you do a bit of a What do you use sort of guide and rolls that you use for certain things? That would be great and we can go farm some of the stuff

I had 3 minutes on the timer when I got to the boss, and was able to add even more time onto it thanks to the timekeepers and the security nodes in the boss room. While I did get killed in like 2 shots by the adds and the adds literally had skull icons to indicate how much higher power they were to me, I was still able to beat it because there is no darkness zone and you can just revive yourself indefinitely. I managed to kill the boss by hiding in a corner shooting dragon’s breath rockets at him, and then also grabbing all the buffs around the boss arena that give you your super so I can spam my twilight arsenal super at him until he died.
You can skimmer skip, I was able to do it in a few places and it saved my ass as me and my buddy had literally 1 second when I got to the portal at the end!
The piston part where you slam the hammer. It doesn't show any of the plants for me or the piston spot when loading the activity. Refreshed like 4 times and still nothing

My quest is stuck telling me that failsafe will contact me once her processes have finished. I’m done everything else from it. I’ve done both mission types probably 7+ times. Nothing.
The only difference between seasons and episodes is that Bungie says episodes are self-contained. Meaning the stories won't connect to each other like seasons flow into each other. Otherwise yeah, it's the same boring bs Bungie development of one hours worth of new content story per week and everything feels like rehashed content.
I already paid Bungie for the Protocol mission during the Splicer season! More reused content. Now I understand the Witness Final shape being a triangle. It was only missing the arrows (ya know...like the recycle symbol ♻️).
I just thought about something, so you know how the next episode has potion crafting what if the plants we collect in this episode tie into the potion crafting in the next episode
The first time i did Enigma Protocol I think it was bugged because I had no timer until i got to the reset room, and even when we reset the timer only showed up if we decided to go through the portal instead of resetting

i didnt do any of the encryption stuff to find the well of echoes. in the quest tab on one of the echo quest descriptions it says it wants you to go to the well of echoes and its labelled on the map lol. no little puzzle needed XD
Looking at how the mission cycle went for this week. Its very apparent Episodes are basically just Seasons but fancier. Not only are the same rewards on the season pass Stretched out and Padded out meaning double the grind for the same exact rewards you would get previously in 100 ranks with nothing new added past lvl 100 as well as the Missions during acts are STILL timegated like any other season. Acts are essentially just there to timegate new activities as far as we know because bungie did not talk about episodes with any depth. I wonder if people will catch on to this but its disappointing. If anything we should have been allowed to do missions up until an acts end. Also why would they timegate the returning dawn weapons too? I dont understand that decision at all.

it is a bug. i got it when i died and revived and the timer just went away, we completed the activity's first run and when we go through to continue it restarted the timer with 5 minutes and we couldn't increase it anymore.

The activity is a snoozefest, nothing seems different to the seasons
The only difference between seasons and episodes is that Bungie says episodes are self-contained. Meaning the stories won't connect to each other like seasons flow into each other. Otherwise yeah, it's the same boring bs Bungie development of one hours worth of new content story per week and everything feels like rehashed content.
I already paid Bungie for the Protocol mission during the Splicer season! More reused content.

The first time i did Enigma Protocol I think it was bugged because I had no timer until i got to the reset room, and even when we reset the timer only showed up if we decided to go through the portal instead of resetting
i might just be really stupid but i got the godslayer title and have not been able to get a clear in enigma protocol (with randoms) after maybe 5 attempts

i didnt do any of the encryption stuff to find the well of echoes. in the quest tab on one of the echo quest descriptions it says it wants you to go to the well of echoes and its labelled on the map lol. no little puzzle needed XD

Looking at how the mission cycle went for this week. Its very apparent Episodes are basically just Seasons but fancier. Not only are the same rewards on the season pass Stretched out and Padded out meaning double the grind for the same exact rewards you would get previously in 100 ranks with nothing new added past lvl 100 as well as the Missions during acts are STILL timegated like any other season. Acts are essentially just there to timegate new activities as far as we know because bungie did not talk about episodes with any depth. I wonder if people will catch on to this but its disappointing. If anything we should have been allowed to do missions up until an acts end. Also why would they timegate the returning dawn weapons too? I dont understand that decision at all.

Im not sure if its a bug but in enigma protocol the time wouldn't go up after destroying the yellow diamonds or killing the timekeeper. I hope im not going insane
it is a bug. i got it when i died and revived and the timer just went away, we completed the activity's first run and when we go through to continue it restarted the timer with 5 minutes and we couldn't increase it anymore.
Same gotten so far in just for the timer to not extend

I skipped all the towers and went straight to the minotaur cause I knew what the area it described was
