    INGREDIENTS
    300g (1.5 cups) granulated sugar
    85g (1/3 cup) butter
    84g (1/3 cup) evaporated milk
170g (6 ounces) white chocolate chips
    100g (3.5 ounces) marshmallow fluff
    1/2 Tbsp orange extract
1 drop of red food coloring, and enough yellow food coloring to get a pleasing shade of orange
    DIRECTIONS
Line an 8x8 pan with parchment, then spray the parchment paper with some cooking spray and wipe the excess off.
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, mix the butter, sugar, and evaporated milk.
Add a candy thermometer and cook until the mixture reaches 234°F, stirring constantly.
Remove the pan from the stove and stir in the white chocolate chips until they’re melted and thoroughly combined.
    Mix in the marshmallow fluff.
Reserve about a cup of the mixture and set it aside.
Add the orange extract and food coloring to the mixture in the pan and stir until the color is even.
Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan.
Spoon the reserved mixture over the top and swirl it into the pan.
Allow the fudge to cool and set for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Remove the fudge from the pan and cut it into whatever size pieces you’d like.

It’s the dratted Google algorithm. If it isn’t already trendy and popular it’s very hard to get a good channel recommended to people who would like it. Fans like us can help by engaging. That means liking, subscribing, sharing, and posting comments.

Randy I just made this fudge and it is in the fridge setting up. So easy to make and I know it will be fantastic! Thanks! I am making the coconut fudge when this is all gone.

    Cute video
Loved your family, they seem like a fun group.
I'm wondering if frest lemon along with the orange extract would cut some of the sweetness. It looks delicious

    What is "marshmallow fluff"?

    • @RandyMakesCandy
      @RandyMakesCandy  Рік тому

It's also known as marshmallow creme. I use the terms interchangeably. Here's what I usually use: 4.bp.blogspot.com/-szodWUJNUtU/TenUXFYKhoI/AAAAAAAAAic/0ZVPRKgO4uw/s1600/fluff1.jpg

9 out of 10 recipes would add a bit of salt to counter act the sweetness. I wonder if that would work with candy just as well? I am not a huge candy maker, but I like to try one or two nice candy treats around Xmas time. What do you think about adding like 1/2 a tsp of salt with the sugar?
    Thank you for sharing.

I love a sweet/salty combo! Adding a little bit of salt seems to enhance the sweetness, while a larger amount pulls it back a bit. Infinite variety! 😁

Okay that brother of yours..sheesh. Enjoying the vids much but diabetes makes it tough to binge. How about doing a few low sugar treats for us type 2's.

@@RandyMakesCandy Here's an idea how about a dark chocolate coated low sugar or sugar free jelly candy as an alternative to a coated jelly candy. Secondly I don't know if you consider an English style tart as a candy, but I enjoyed them as a treat when my dad was posted in Bedfordshire, England.

Ooh, the jelly idea sounds awesome! I also found a no-sugar fudge recipe that I want to try. Thanks!
