Leeds could be a fun rebuild, with their current signings plus a few who they’ve been linked with such as Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord and Tyler Adams. Also to see how they’d do with Phillips and Raphinha.

Thanks for watching team! Hope you enjoyed it. Couple orders of business here: 1. If you’re not already subscribed, it would be really cool if you could! 2. Who should we do a video like this on next?
Newcastle fan here. Loved this, and loved the completely unbiased opinions about how we played last season and going forward. Really refreshing! And hopes for next season for me is top 10 and a good run at a cup.
as a Newcastle fan I'd be chuffed with top 6, i think the real aim is just to build on last season. Feel like being much more ambitious would be unrealistic, but next season who knows!
@@BobbyFlay14 NewCastle is only behind City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham… top 6 is realistic, unless ManUtd and Aston Villa step up with their new signings.
It's generally wise to not expect too much from a new project However as it turns out you would've been right to expect a lot this time 😂 you even had a cup final too
In real life, a top 10 finish is a massive success for Newcastle this season. They need to build, but build slowly. The Premier League is such a massive monster it's easy to get over excited and want too much too fast. Top 10 this year. Europa Conference League the next. Then three or four seasons competing for Europa League places, and then, then they might be ready to fight for the Champions League spots in five or six years time if everything goes to plan.
Ur joking right.... We finished 11 playing half a season... We were winless in the first half so after buying 4-5 top players we will go up by one spot 😂😂😂... Lolz
@@fadyNUFC Not joking, Where are the top players so far? Your squad needs a lot of work to be able to compete with the likes of West Ham, Aston Villa and Leicester.
Botman, diaby, one sticker and one more midfielder comming in... By the way without the addition we beat west ham, Aston villa and lescter oh and also arsenal 😂🤣
@@JoeyKneecap what? You build slowly and you lose good players. Back end of the season we gave West Ham, Leicester and Villa a run for their money. What a joke to only finish 1 place above where they are now when they were 1 game short from 9th after starting the first half of the season with no wins.
As a Newcastle fan, I'd take top ten, or just a season where I don't have to worry about Relegation, can't explain how horrible past 14 year had been, basically just no hope, no joy, actually sat giddy for the new season!
Luis Alberto is a proper playmaker who really works well with Joelinton. You can grab him for around 25 million up front. Hes good on set pieces as well, particularly from up close or wide. Alexander Isak works magic as a defacto CF/DLF/F9 next to Wilson in my 424. Hes expensive but I got him for 48 million up front. He really unlocks ASM who I used as an IW on the left side. The idea was Isak would drop down out of the box and drag a defender or two with him and ASM has the Pace, anticipation and off the ball movement to make some excellent runs. Isak only had 14 goals but came in with 29 assists (0 on set pieces) ASM had 31 goals. Ended up picking up a nice duo of young CBs with Badiashile and Anel Ahmedhodžić. They dont read the game as well as youd like in the beginning but both of them own the air around goal and could keep up physically with strong players as well as fast enough to stay in front of pacy attackers. Lastly I got Onama in goal. Yes, you have to wait until November 2021 for him to play but he's an A-List keeper who Ajax has to sell as his contract runs out and he refuses to resign. For 12 million up front he is a virtual steal. For what its worth we ended up getting 6th in the Prem for 21-22 and somehow beat Liverpool to win the FA Cup in my first season. Bit of a drop off in 22-23 but still got 7th and won the Carabou Cup.
Really interesting one this Clayts. I think in real life Newcastle would take 7th place and those signings are not outrageous. They are definitely trying to build for the future and do it well without overspending which is nice to see. I would like to see you realistically rebuild Everton. They are a real project i think?.
As a newcastle fan I’ll speak on behalf of the majority when I say we’ll be chuffed with a decent cup run and a top 10 finish. But if we could push for 7/8th and get European football it would be MASSIVE for all of us
I feel we will finish 7th or 6th. Diaby and broja are the signings we need where as Paqueta is a want, for the exact same reason that it will make the midfield look filthy
What about an Ipswich Town challenge? One of many teams sleeping away in league one. Have a decent squad and new (well, last year) investors thst have done well so far. Just a though 😉 Also, new subscriber here mate. Good video!
Obviously iously I would hope that we push on as high as possible but I don't think you can underestimate how much of a relief it would be to have a season where we aren't in danger of relegation throughout the season.

I've already been in touch with the club about 3 maybe 4 more excellent additions either this current window or next season. Jonathan David STRIKER, 4 Brennan JOHNSON RW/F (Notts Forest) The next EPL big thing IMO. Lad has everything required

Would be happy with 7th as of now or with diaby or paqueta. But if both, I'd really be looking few spots better...its a wet dream, broja on loan would be very smart business for Ashworth/Howe... there would be some money saved to sign those two Marquee signings... Paqueta for the solid and magical Brazilian midfield is my wishlists top tier signing, but cant look past Diabys production rate...i'm quessing even Woods would score more if we get those two on wing and midfield..
I feel like if we actually finish 7th then the Europe games will tire us the season after and we don’t have the depth to rotate well so I’d probably prefer to finish 8th and get an extra year to strengthen
Leverkusen sporting director said they don’t plan to sell diaby. And he only wants to leave if he plays champions league football. Not so realistic signing. Probably saying it because I’m a Leverkusen fan :D Still a great video!
I sort of wish Pacqueta was on a more attacking role. CM Sup feels like its going to stifle his attacking quality, as shown with his 1 goal. he's more a AMC than a CM.
