- This may be my favorite video to make every year. There are a lot of videos I get excited about, I mean I play Football Manager for a living, but scouring the FM database and then offering contracts to hundreds of potential bargain wonderkids is really where I feel most at home. I have learned other aspects about Football Manager to be able to teach you guys, but this, this is my passion. I love the thrill of finding a new wonderkid almost a little too much.

Fun fact: the manager for Sporting CP announced that Gonçalo Esteves is ready and will start for the first team in today's match. It will be his debut.
He already played in the Champions League against Ajax. Did pretty well against Neres.

I Would also suggest Giorgi Mamardashvili. He is a great goalkeeper with high potential and also very very cheap. He only cost me 2.2 million in my second year of managing.

So proud that Kozłowski is on that list. He is the biggest Polish talent in this century. Even Lewandowski in his age wasn't half as good as him. In this aspect FM is broken because Pogoń will get sth around 15 mln for him. And you pronounce it pretty well, good job Zeeland!
Hes peaked earlier than Lewandowski, probably. Cant see him been that level.

@@JamesHussain82 well, Lewandowski is really hardworking player but Kozłowski is more gifted. He can beat that level with the same ammount of hard work. He is an outstanding talent and I'm sure he can be one of the best in the world some day.

Lorenzo lucca is older but an absolute monster. He’s like 2 meters tall as a target striker.

The only "drawback" he has is that he can't be signed on the first season (as Pisa just signed him from Palermo).
Picked that dude up from Torino when I took over A. Madrid in a bad state and my god that guy was insane. Hat trick of headers all the time just a monster.
A little sad you didn't add him, but I would also recommend Franculino Dju, a Bissau-Guinean from Benfica I got in the third season for 3.8m. Physically incredible (his lowest physical stat is 15) and mentals/technicals are both pretty good a striker or either of the wings. Currently leading the line in my PEC Zwolle team that's fighting for the top of the league alongside Preslav Borukov (a little older, but is free at hte start of the game at 21, and develops super well)

Interesting fact. Julen Jon Guerrero has the genes. His dad is legendary Bilbao goalscoring AM, Julen Guerrero who is a CM legend also as one of the best goal getting mids in many iterations of the game. He was also a one club man.

@@ozbekr77 Depends what database settings you have. I pick specific nation and continent settings when determining the database at the start of a save (i.e. where you pick which leagues are playable, view only, etc.) and I load all the players who play in top divisions in Africa. If you have just used a 'large' database, that will likely be the problem as his reputation isn't big enough
@@borobrad97 Is he a youth international? As my PC is not that fast so I don't load all the top leagues. I load all the internationals though.

Is he going to play in bigger leagues? Yes. World-class? No. I've seen so many Swedish talents come and go and end up in Eredivisie or mid-tier Serie A teams. He doesn't strike me as different or any better than they were. But I really hope I'm wrong.
I found him early on in my save trying to find an attacking midfielder, unfortunately since I’m playing Wrexham, I was a few years away from being able to get get him. By the time I could make an offer someone from either the French or Italian league bought him for $1.4 million. Which for me would have been a 2/3rds of my transfer budget.

Williot Swedberg is one of my favourite players irl atm. He scored a beautiful goal on his debut and he’s only getting better. His dad used to play for our club and his mom used to play for one of our biggest rivals, so it’s in his blood. I really hope he can live up to his potential

Started playing Fm21 in april this year and had no idea who Matias Arezo was until he scored 28 goals in 16 Games for me while playing Sondersjyske in my second season and dominating Denmark with him Upfront. Havent tried him out this year yet but i imagine he is an absolute beast again. :D
Not on the same level. He’s 130-160 if I’m not mistaken, but Raphael Le’ai deserves respect. Z signed him for Florisdorfer and he’s like the most talented player in Oceania. Solomon Islands have a superstar and he’s gonna be huge very soon
I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high. He’s already 18 and still playing in the Solomon Islands league. The odds on him making it at any sort of higher level are extremely low. Hell, most top youth players in Spain, Italy etc don’t even actually make it, and they’re usually at the best places a player could be to get better.
@@daviebananas1735 I think the most realistic outcome is someone on the level of Sardar Azmoun. A good player in on a good team in a top 10 league. If he can hit that ability, then I’ll be happy.
@@TylerAven10 Sardar Azmoun is one of the best players to come out of Iran, who are a pretty good international team. He was also playing in the Russian league from a young age. Le’ai needs to get a move to a top league very soon and it doesn’t seem to be on the cards. I think the best he can hope for is a move to a lower league European team and maybe he can progress and get into a small team in a decent league in 2 or 3 years. I doubt he’ll get near Azmoun’s level though. He was banging in loads of goals in Russia from a young age.

@@yuty0428 I don’t think there is any FIFA regulation which stops players leaving countries. Some which stop intercontinental transfers under 18, but he could still have signed for a club in a better footballing nation by now. Given that he’s 18 already anyway, he could be playing for any club that wants him.
Kacper Koswowski is incredible. In a Game, i (playing with pogon), received propost to him with a fee of 8M, when he have 17 to 18 years old. This player is much good, principaly playing center midfilder box-to-box
He's also well rated by Jurgen Klopp in real life and there have been reports we have had scouts watching him for as much as 2 years now. Seen reports we would be willing to go to as much as £5mil for him, not sure if that would be enough to sign him, or if the reports are true now (we had scouting knowledge of Minamino dating back 5 years to his time at Cerezo Osaka and waited for him to mature before moving) but its interesting and speaks of his real world level.
I'd like to suggest Anis Kassem. He's a 16 year old striker/AM/Winger that plays for Tishreen in Syria. His potential range is (only) 130-160 but you can usually pick him up at the start of the game for less than €10,000, if he's loaded up in your database. If you want him, I'd suggest loading players from the Syrian league at the start of the save

I signed arezo for Barca first season. First season as an impact sub he got 16 league goals. 2nd season he started and got 35 and third season 31. Legend
As a Hammarby fan born and bred, our academy has never been great. So to see one of our own on a list like this, even if it's just a game, feels surreal
And yeah Swedberg is an amazing talent in real life, and I've seen him sign for PSG within like a year on FM22 so clearly not a bad player in game either

williot swedberg! they've massively adjusted his personality from last year but he was a top man in my red star fc midfield until rb leipzig offered me £28m of energy drink money for him. nice to see he's still the business
He's crazy talented in real life as well. Played a lot in the swedish top flight this year, and also started a lot in Hammarby's qualifying efforts in the Europa Conference League, scoring a few goals as well. Actually scored a goal and made an assist in his Hammarby debut this year. Ajax, PSV and Barcelona are some of the clubs who have showed interest irl.
Fun facts about Pablo Torre; WorkTheSpace had a Santander save on FM21, and he was a baller as a CAM (and got sold to Bayern for 40 million £, and then loaned back for like 3 years). IRL he is joining Barca in the summer for 5 million!
I can guarantee, as a Sporting fan, that Gonçalo Esteves right now would cost any club more than 10M€ ahah, he has incredible potential, the same goes to Dário Essugo but I think Esteves is more talented. Rodrigo Ribeiro will be someone to look out in the near future too, he already at 16 has been called up to the senior team matches

Burak İnce will be a really great player. Its potential is very high on FM's in last years. I also get a good performance from him. Btw, he transferred to Arminia Bielefeld this year. He will be joining the club on January 20
Alejandro Francés is also a good shout. Right back, slightly more expensive, with a 6m release clause, playing for Real Zaragoza, he already has about 13 in every important attribute. He's perfect for more midtable teams, as he should be good enough to be your backup - or even a first choice if your options are bad - as well as interested in joining you, and develops into a fine, if more defensive right back.
IRL Kozlowski moved to Brighton and then went on loan to Belgium, where they wasted his talent, as if they played him, they tried playing him as a striker. He really needs to secure a good loan deal for 2022/23 season as he's the greatest talent from Poland in years.

Bright Arrey-Mbi from bayern, outstanding center back with loads of potential. managed to get him for 500k in the second division lf germany
Just wanted to drop Adam Hložek here. Love this guy. He scores like crazy in my save. And I got him for 72k from Prague.
Signed Matias Arezo for Union Berlin for 1.1 million pounds, (besides only getting 3million in transfer budget) so he took nearly half my budget, started him because of Taiwo Awoniyi’s 6 month leg break injury in Pre season. He went on to score 26 bundesliga goals in a great first season which saw us win the Conference League and runners up in the DFB Pokal.
14 seasons later, he has finally retired winning 12 Bundesliga’s 8 DFB Pokals 1 Conference League 1 Europa League and 8 champions leagues. He is Unions all time too goal scorer and has his own stand in our new stadiums, what a player.
Other than being a very helpful video, I really enjoy just watching every single video you put out. Very funny editing and all round entertaining to watch. Every time!

If we are looking at fc copenhagen you should 100% buy roony bardghji. Hes the youngest ever player in the danish league and is right now looked at as the biggest talent ever in the danish league. A league that have had players like eriksen, the laudrup brothers and many more great talents
I just signed Layton Stewart for a $24K transfer and am paying him $36K a year. He is 24 now, did not play a single game for Liverpool, went to Bradford City and played 12 games with 1 goal. Obviously a good portion of his potential has been squandered, but my staff see him as 4.5 star potential for my team.
I'm playing with Dartford in Skybet 1, but my team kinda sucks at this level so I think he will be very helpfully once he (finally) gets some experience, he's currently like my 4th striker. He scored a hat trick in his first game (and had good shots for 2 more), though, Carabao cup against a Skybet 2 team, but still.
Also, Burak Ince, playing for Leicester and currently worth $44M - $55M. His physical traits look a bit better, too.
the last player is phenomenal but I still like that Traore kid from Milan, that 16 attribute in dribbling will turn into a 20, the only downside on him is his crossing but you can get a 8 all the way up to a 17 if you focus enough on it... He just needs a role model with some determination and if you got a winger or a forward with 18-20 in determination you are in for a treat
A couple true bargains (if they're in your database) are Ali Reynah and Mahmoud Al-Aswad out of the Syrian league. Both 130-160 PA and I bought them for a combined $12.5k

You should check Giorgio Scalvini from Atalanta out, got him for pretty cheap and he's a great young centre-back. 7.25 as an average EVERY YEAR. Super consistent.
I actually have the Icelandic kid in my team already. Great player... really recommended signing, because he can indeed play anywhere. Maybe not in goal...
As a Racing Santander fan I'm happy to see Pablo Torre on the list, you should see him play, he really is an amazing player, plays for the U19 in spain and is the star player for our main team being just 18, check some videos and you'll see the quality! In my last couple saves he is always leaving for around 1.5M in the first season and end up being sold for more than 80M
I have no idea what the potential ability of these guys are, but in case anyone wants to check them out, here's some youngsters I think can be worth signing :)

Potential may be different of course. These players have all been found at different clubs, with different players, leagues, etc.
I had Vidovic on loan in Wisla Krakow. He reached his maximum at 20 years old. I used him as Advanced Forward but he lacked in physical attributes. Buy him ASAP and sell after 3-4 years

Got Arezo on my current Rangers save. First season came in in Jan window and scored 8. Second season he was joint top scorer with 29. Including 4 in a champions League group game against Zenit. Absolute steal of a player that I only payed £850k for
I don't know why people aren't talking about Ruben Amorim. The guy works with youth , he's a smart manager and is the next Sir Alex .
I played with Isak last year and this year- boy that guy is an actual beast, played him everywhere and averaged a 7 in every season… developed him into a 5 star player in 4 seasons max
Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, AM(C), can also play AM(R) and F, plays in Ghana, currently 17 years old. Dnipro-1 bought him in my save for 19.375K pounds. I believe his upper potential range is 170. After Dnipro bought him in 2022. I bought him for 27.5M, and the next three years he averaged 20 games, 5 goals, 6 assists and a 7.2 for me. Juve cme after him hard this last transfer window, so they are paying his full salary, 91K/165K a months, and a 32.%M pound mandatory transfer fee. If you in a non permit country, he's the best 20K you'll spend.

I signed Pablo Torre for Aberdeen and he became a star player for me. I also taught him to play on the left and it became natural.

Williots mom Malin played 78 caps for Sweden and his dad played 8 caps he is also a cult hero at Hammarby..

While he might not be 19 and younger, or 5 million or less, but Julian Alvarez (21) for 6.5 million at start is a quality buy who can play anywhere upfront.
16 first touch, 15 technique, 14 work rate and teamwork, 15 stamina and fitness means he's ready made for most sides.
Can you do a video on body language. Not shouts. More like full and half time reactions like "assured" looked to gain confidence" "stressed" "convinced" etc. What do they meant exactly and for the short and long term development of a player. Can't it affect "big matches" "inconsistent" attributes. I don't think their a video about it on UA-cam nor is it something I seen people talk about
Bought França in my Sacramento Republic FC save in the American Tiers Database. Started him at Mezzala, but he never really did anything there. Moved him to IF(A) on the left wing and he flourished. Sold him to Liverpool for $107 million.
I would suggest few players from Serbian league, Stefan Kovačević playing in Čukarički, is gonna be a beast on Center defender, Nikola Terzic playing like a winger in Partizan Belgrade.

I would suggest Georgi Mamardashvili (he starts as a Premier League-level goalie for about 2 mil with contract up at end of 21/22) or Lukas Schneller (he plays for Bayern II and is basically free) as budget goalkeepers
Layton Stewart nearly got into our first team last season before getting a serious ACL injury (probably why CA is still low and PA I'd high)

I found out about Matias Arezo on one of my MLS saves (before I could find a good pro/rel American database for 22, all of the ones I kept finding were for 21!) where Charlotte put him a YDI and my staff kept giving him an A+ rec. Definitely keen on trying him this go-through even though his recommendation finally slipped a bit.
Was playing as celtic and he was recommended to me. I dodnt need another striker but I saw i could get him for 1.1m. So I bought him. First season he got 44 in 56 games including 8 in the champions league and was 2nd best striker behind haaland. Beast.
Good list. I would also add Yuriel Celi who I got for free in January 2024 and Albert Milanovic who I got for £5.75M in 2025.
My heart club is Sporting CP and Rodrigo Ribeiro is already getting calls and sitting on the bech for Sporting at 16 years old. Also played really well in the Uefa Youth League this season and scored a Maradona type of goal vs Dortmund in the same competition. He probably will be on the bench tonight vs Gil Vicente because we have ours strikers with COVID-19. Game is at 8:30 pm Portugal time, maybe a good opportunity to see him play 😆
Also Dário Essugo already played for Sporting in the champions with 16 years old and he is in the top 10 for younger player to play in the UCL. Guilherme Santos is also a absolute baller already been call for B team, Under 17 and Under 19 in the same season

There is one player that I have come across that might fit this list but not sure about his price his name is mike/a gablemann he is a rb for either hertha berlin or hoffenheim and in my manu save where I was searching for young cheap talents I came across him

Didn't expect Bergmann Johannesson to be on this list lol. Im managing FC Copenhagen and i had a game where he started at WBL and later I moved him to IWR and he scored two amazing goals in that game. I also recommend Suphanat Mueanta i got him for 170k€ and for the price he is very good.
Suphanat Mueanta is top bargain for FM22 and he has good PA too
I've got Julen Jon Guerrero at Torino, who I've joined in 2032, he was already 28 or so, but he is one of the best midfielders at the league...Torino signed him when he was 23-24 for 1.1 mil. EUR, but after first season (32/33) I was getting offers around 50-60 mil. EUR
In my Leipzig save from 2021 I picked up Arezo for under 1 million. Had a bunch of injuries at striker so I was forced to use Arezo as a starter for 29 games.
Ended up coming in 2nd in the Bundesliga with 32 goals and both his ability and price tag went through the stratosphere.

In my first season as a championship team manager, I came across the annual 'Golden Boy' article. Had your usual Pedri and Bellingham and all, BUT there was one kid better than all of them. Zeben Torres. He won the Golden Boy award at 16 and I checked his price, 60K. WHAT KIND OF JOKE IS THIS I thought, so I bought him immediately, he was happy to come. Work permit reasons resulted in him going on loan for a year at which point I made back 70K. He is now valued at £70 mil and he hasn't even played for my club yet lmao. He is only 18 now.
Managing in the UK appealing every work permit is slowly killing me.

So when testing this, was every player at their maximum potential? As you might find that you can buy a player for less than 5 million if his potential was 140 and pay 15m if his potential is 160. Because the club should know.
Wisdom amey 1mil, Hugo Felix 1.9 mil both WILL reach a higher potential spectrum, those prices can be lowered if you use installlments and put your club in debt but they will guaranty you tittles, so your club will end up paying it regardless, and de la vibora from Real Madrid is also insanely cheap less than a mil, yerson chacon 750k the list goes of players you can make profit, never forget to load every player for every region, so many 140 African players that come for literally nothing to almost any team
