As a liberal and as a left.. I am sorry but the people are pseudo liberals, not actual liberals. Liberals are accepting of everyone, regardless of any differences, liberals speak the truth even when it means that you would be alone and targetted. All these people are who claim to be liberals have bastardized the term liberals.!! Jordan and Ben are the true liberals here, because they ooze liberal qualities.. Fighting for what is right, doing the correct thing, even when you would face wide criticism...! Don't give up on being liberal, but learn to differentiate who is a true liberal.

I'm a Nigerian male (no I don't have USD 50,000 to send to you) and the election of Donald Trump got me into political ideology and the difference between left and right. While Nigeria is a generally conservative country, I study in Mauritius and I've been exposed to a lot of new leftist ideas. While I personally feel Africa has gained a lot from the introduction of Judeo-Christian values, I feel that we're also beginning to slowly adopt some of the more dangerous leftist ideology. I absolutely enjoy listening to and studying the work of Ben Shapiro and especially Jordan Peterson. I hope more Africans get ahead of this creeping radical liberalism or we'll wake up one day and realize we've been swamped.
Well I'll be damned...thanks for all the likes.

For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me and by it slew me.
12 Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid! But sin, that it might appear as sin, was working death in me by that which is good, that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin.
22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Edit: thank you for all lovely comments 💖
I am a young single mother who is raising a little boy by myself. I know that the fact that I dont have any high education/and income right now isnt ideal for the future of my child. the fact that my boy doesnt have a male rolemodel in his life is worse than if I was educated and lived with the father. i understand this and instead of being angry and hostile against Jordan for highlighting and pointing out the statistics of the wellbeing of boys being raised by single mothers, I have decided to go to school when Im done with maturenity leave. I read and research alot about how to get my boy the absolute best chance in life. I put in the work to make Up for the fact that I am the sole provider and try to get as much knowledge and the best income I can. Im thankfull for these people who can educate us and help us become the best versions of ourselfes! All love and respect for Jordan and Ben!

Bravo! Really mature thinking there. You can agree or disagree with certain things related to your personal self but overall they (especially dr. Peterson) are talking science and facts that we should learn from and not react agitated to because it rubs us the wrong way (which basically is a problem within us since they are stating what science teaches them).. good on you Ninizen.

And yes I might have to work harder for it than someone who isnt raising a child by themselfes Im just glad that there is people like Jordan in this world who can tell us that we need to work harder to make up for the fact that he doesnt have a male rolemodel in his life. What do I want on my pizza? Well, that's a difficult question. Because first of all you have a ton of options, and that may sound like a good thing, but actually it's a REALLY BIG PROBLEM. Because how do you know what to pick? And how do you know when your decisions are the right ones? You may think you want pepperoni, but maybe that's just the Jungian shadow side of your personality asking for pepperoni. It's sort of like the story of Bambi running lost through the forest and then Bambi finds his mother, but then it turns out his mother dies and he discovers that all life is suffering. And that's something you have to deal with, because why were you getting pepperoni in the first place? Was it for happiness? Because that's not what life's about, man. You're going to have a really hard time if you're eating pepperoni to be happy. You need to find meaning. So maybe you'll think to yourself, 'Well, ok, then I'll get bell peppers, because they're green and green represents life and flourishing and verdant fields of vast opportunity.' And you would be on to something there, but then again, maybe not because peppers are also spicy and spicy pepper is kind of like the apple in the story of Adam and Eve. And, well, if that's the case, then just what the hell are you doing with this pizza, then? And you need to pay attention to that because it matters. It matters a lot, as it turns out. Hello?

The way to deal with people following this line of questioning is to reply with a question, ask them "what's your point?" because they are saying "all your followers are men" as if it's a bad thing, but without actually saying why they think that's bad. Once you dig into their question more by actually finding the point they are trying to make, then it is a LOT easier to respond to that appropriately! People do this all the time in everyday life, it's a good tactic in the work place too... always dig deeper to find out what the real question or real point is if you have a manager who loves being passive-aggressive and trying to drop you in the shit.

Jordan speaks of gender issues, stereotypes within society, philosophical concepts, psychology and politics. He speaks of and is okay with speaking about and debating heavily sensitive and heated topics within this current climate. That's what differentiates them. The shear diversity of thought in this room, a Canadian, whom I'm not sure is a Christian, with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. A married gay man from Los Angeles who started with The Young Turks who I am pretty sure is an atheist, who also works in the world of media, having done hundreds of interviews. And finally a devout Jewish man with staunch conservative values, who is an outspoken critic of the left, with a degree in Law from Harvard. The diversity in lifestyle, belief, and thought is crazy.
This is an astounding example of what we should be going for, these men do not agree on much really, but working in the bounds of what they understand about each other, and learning more about each other, then taking us along for the ride, we are all further educated in the realm of ourselves and our ideologies. It's a lot to unpack but I think that we all walk away thinking and that curiosity will further enlighten us.

Is there anything in nature that cannot satisfy human desire?
If the answer is no, then the search for meaning and the search for proof of God is proof that He exists.
If the answer is yes, then why are we even concerned with God in the first place? If God created us and nature, but nature does not satisfy all we need, then we don't need God and His creation anyway. So we wouldn't waste time with that question ever.

    • @ADadWithoutKids

Please try Islam. Just a quick glance. I'd avoid polytheism, grave sin. Avoid, Christianity or rather Christians. The Bible actually has at least 90 places where Jesus says he is not God or indicates that way. He at least says he's nothing compared to God many times but the Christian (not the Unitarians) will say you need to worship him and seek his salvation which is blasphemy in my opinion. So I don't want you to jump back to atheism by looking at Christian. The churches are empty for a reason. Because 3 cannot be one. If God is God and Jesus is God and so is the Holy Spirit then that's 3 gods. But they will also say those three are one. Not possible in any universe or formula. So I wish you the best, may God guide you and He guides whom he wills, may God give you guidance and I hope your heart is soft enough and your mind rational enough to see. God bless you
