- We returned to Disney's Fort Wilderness Rv Resort and absolutely loved it. Truly our favorite place to to the RV! There is so much to enjoy at the park, in fact, we only left once to visit Disney Springs. Enjoy the video.

We love the fort. Our absolute favorite resort. We stayed over Christmas in the full hookup (1700 loop) with a 45 Prevost. As you stated, it is tight, go slow and everything will work out. Thank you for sharing. You have made my day. 😁

Stayed there many times. My favorite resort. It absolutely is the best RV park I've ever visited. It sucks those personal little boats are gone. Another thing taken away. Now Trails End is becoming who knows what, and the log cabins will be gone for Ugly DVC "cabins". With all that said, I still love the Fort, just have to accept all the negative changes, and realize it's still beautiful. I sometimes wonder WTF Disney is thinking. I don't generally go to the parks in the heat of the summer, so good time to stay at the fort and do the monorail resort crawl. 🙂

Awesome vid we went there so many times when my kids were little, great campsite it sure has changed and the prices are nuts.We would always go to the trails end but looks like thats gone.

We’ve taken the decision to move back to America after a lifetime of living in Europe. It’s been a very difficult time as I have been battling cancer for years now and I’m told it’s not going away and no further treatment is appropriate.
We’ve made two major decisions which is to buy a farm somewhere in New England (but we may end up elsewhere). We want to grow amazing food and intend to be canning some of the best recepies from our experience in traveling. We also want to make sure that we produce more affordable products with discounts for people who have been struggling financially.
We are hoping to have enough land to accommodate some RVERS in the beautiful setting with possible storage for RVS not being used regularly. It’s going to be a very different community for people who want to either stop off overnight or stay for long periods of time. Either pick your breakfast and eat wherever or come into the restaurant and enjoy yourself.
I’m not sure what comes first to be honest. The farm or land or the RV.
We’ve taken the decision to buy a class A motorhome. It’s going to be a used one with fairly low mileage and good quality upkeep with regular servicing.
I’m so excited to be able to contribute to this project and live life as healthy as possible. We’ve already attracted friends who want to be a part of our plans so the costs of our dreams are coming down.

We were there in June 2022 with our rig. We stayed in the 200 loop. I agree it is a favorite campground. Next time I think I'll try the 700 loop. We love fishing on Bay Lake.
We talked about loop 700 as well, We love hearing the boat horn as it arrives at the dock! We could hardly hear it in 1100.

Great video! As a frequent Fort visitor and Disney nerd, just a couple points of clarification: Trails End underwent renovations to convert it from a sit-down/table service dining option to quick service only. Mobile ordering works the same as it has the last few years. Walt didn’t purchase the calliope in 1907 (he was only 5 or 6 years old 😂). The Dragon Calliope does itself date to 1907 though. 👍🏻 You guys absolutely HAVE to take in the Hoop Dee Doo Review next time! One of the best things about the Fort. Happy travels!

We where in the 1700 loop with a 42 foot fifth wheel. It was tight to get I but a great site.

Do you have to have a certain classification on your DL to drive this RV; like the same way you would for a semi truck and trailer?
It's not required Tycklzz, only a couple of states require a different license.

Does the place have E-bike parking at the locations around the campground just in case someone dont want to rent a golf cart
They have bike parking around the park, I have heard but not confirmed that e bikes are not permitted, u can ride the e bike but not “activate” the electrical system….go figure.

If towing a vehicle on a trailer, do I have to put it into the site? Or do they have designated trailer parking?
They have “overflow” parking for trailers of all types and for automobiles.
What did you do with you enclosed trailer prior to arriving?
Race, they have a large overflow parking lot at the entrance where you can park trailers etc…

How far i advance do you have to make the reservation?
It really depends when you plan to go Bernie. If you plan to go during summer, 6 months at least. That’s not to say that sometimes you can luck up and get in with you later Reservation. But to be on the safe side, we always book several months in advance. Thank you for watching.

Hey Scott, I actually reversed that part of the video so the viewer could see into the sites better. I was actually going the correct way, just a little trick in making that segment of the video.
Question; if you un-hitch at the hitch pull off. What next? Do you leave your trailer there or do they bring it to your site?
