A transportation tip for Fort Wilderness - if you are in a loop up near the marina or near the 1500 or 2000 loop bus stop, you can use the boats to the Contemporary to get around, too. At the marina The smaller boat on the right side of the dock is a short ride over to the Contemporary where you can walk around the right of the building to get the bus to MGM or Animal Kingdom or go inside if you want to go to EPCOT by monorail. If you are resort hopping (i.e. go to Port Orleans French Quarter for Mickey shaped beignets!) you can walk between the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower to the Magic Kingdom bus stop and get the bus to any resort.

You guys are KILLING me! Our favorite campgrounds are Ocean Lakes and Fort Wilderness. My dream trip is a January week at the Fort, 10 days at Bluewater Key Resort, and then another week at the Fort before going back home to central NC. Guess which Tolleson Life videos I've recently watched? All three of these places!
It wouldn't be so bad except we recently sold our F450 and toy hauler. Both sons in college so that means no time and no money for camping. The goal is 3.5 years until both have graduated and we're back in. Thanks for sharing. I'll keep watching, wishing, and waiting.

We went to WDW for our first time last year and stayed at the Cabins in FW. This year I thought we might rent a house instead, but my family revolted! They all wanted the cabins again! We are heading back in a few weeks! Great video!

Mr. Tolleson - I found your videos today because of Fort Wilderness, but i went back and watched from the beginning. I am from Cartersville and just want to thank you for your service to the APD. My parents spend their winters in their motor home at Naples motor coach resort. Please let me know if your planning on going to Naples. They really have some great people there - its worth the trip if you haven't been to Naples before.

Although my wife and I have made 35 trips to Walt Disney World, we have never stayed at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, but like everything else at WDW, it looks well kept. Have fun.

Hey guys, if you get off the exit for highway 27; I think it's the second exit on the turnpike, you won't have to pay but one toll. Hwy 27 will take you to Hwy 192. Hwy 192 will take you directly to the exit for Disney World. You'll have to put up with several traffic lights on Hwy 192, but traffic lights are a minor aggravation. This is only a suggestion, of course, to help save you a little money that Clay can use to spend at the parks. LOL. TCRS.

I may do more videos, they require so much time until if you're not careful, you will find yourself in another "full time" job! lol I have a busy 2019 planned, Bike Week next week (followed by a motorcycle video), Trip to Tombstone, Back to FL, Motorcycle ride to Colorado and beyond etc.... So, should have more videos this year! How bout you guys?
I've watched your video before, but it popped up in my recommended feed.....and OMG. It just hit me, I see why all the campsites are located in loops. The road shape makes it easier to back your rv/trailier in. I know that's not the main reason, but I'm sure it helps.

We have a 10 day trip in August for our anniversary. We have camp there for about 20 years. We also have a week trip in December the week before Christmas.
We have a travel trailer.

The Fort is great at Christmas time, I am just amazed at the decorations at the campsites. Will worth a trip. The best time to see the most is the week before or the week of Christmas.

As always a awesome vlog. You just can't beat fort wilderness. We were there in October and December and now we're going back at the end of June.. then we will stop at Pirateland in myrtle beach on the way back to PA on July 4th . You should try and rent a golf cart. Also home commin at Disney springs can't be beat.

You can get a sunpass at the FL welcome center for $5 and it is much much cheaper for tolls - and you don't have to start and stop. We paid less than $10 towing our dual axle tag along.

We go at least once a year. We prefer the 800-900 loops since the are pet friendly and are premium sites as well...also closer to Crocket's Tavern and the boats. Get the real experience and rent a golf cart (unless you bring your own)!

@@TollesonLife we were there for a long weekend at MLK day. It was fairly crowded but it wasn't terrible. We typically go around holidays so we are used to crowds. Last year we went the week after July 4th and it was dead. This year we will be there the week of the 4th. We don't typically spend a ton of time in the parks, though. We have annual passes so we don't feel the need to do every ride each trip. We do a lot of Fort chilling.
Haven't seen you guys in a while - great video as always. I was in your model RV at a show recently - wow. What quality, and also what value. Easily my favorite in its class. You guys should've brought the Road Glides - wake those campsite neighbors up nice and early! Look forward to your next video...

Hey Sir, I am looking to purchase a 3-axle monster toy hauler 5th wheel trailer. I own my Kenworth tractor so if my Ford F350 dually can’t pull it, my T-700 will! I attend motorcycle track days, this trailer allows my wife to come along without the boredom and eliminates hotel cost.

Hi there Tollesons, I'm just finding your vlog and wanted to say that I enjoy them. I especially enjoy watching UA-cam channels of military, police, first responders etc living their well-deserved retirements. It helps that you like my favorite places - The Smoky mountains (where I was born) and Fort Wilderness (where I found my 2nd childhood). When did you film this? I was at FW in February and saw someone on a bike recording near the swimmin hole.
