Brilliant Classics,thank you for introducing the music of the composer Alcan. There is so much humor and irony in the play published to day, it was very interesting to listen.
I’m very pleased to see more of Alkan’s music appearing on YT channels like this one. His works are superb, but he’s often overlooked and neglected in favor of more popular composers like Beethoven and Mozart.
Alkan always interesting, certainly this piece, and so well performed. Whoever picked the cover art should be commended as well-it brought me to explore the artist-a very interesting fellow. thanks BC as usual.
