Once you've let the coat of paint dry out in the scuttle is it OK to use it with different paint next time? Can the old paint ever soften and dissolve into the new paint?
Yes depending on what paint has been used, usually the more hard wearing the less chance of it working up. Also if you don't allow your scuttles to dry fully, it can work up. If we ever use oil gloss in scuttles or kettles, then next time it's oil under coat. Thanks

if you've stripped wallpaper off then wash the paste off wall then apply a coat of diluted PVA. If it's new plaster give it a light sand then a coat of diluted PVA.
Don’t let the wife see you using the sink for washing out paint gear...... speaking from experience lol

It’s a pet comb, you can buy them on Amazon or from a pet shop.

Ive been spinning my rollers out on a clean gloss outside wall,is that ok ?
I use an attachment to a drill and spin them out its a lot quicker, spin paint out first then soapy water and spin again ready to use again

Sorry but on another subject is it best to PVA walls before painting, unable to find your video on this subject.
