After a whopping 23 requests and 8½ hours of almost non-stop work, I now have Giratina Battle from Pokémon Platinum finished. The fastest tempo in the song is 2944. As of the date of upload, it was my fastest tempo used. Many parts of the song were difficult to put into Mario Paint Composer (PC/Mac imitation of the original Mario Paint for the SNES), so I had to deal with that. And of course, it's using the original SoundFont (with bass lowered by an octave)!

Someone make a ROM hack of SMW where Mario is in the Distortion World while running from an angry Giratina while this plays. Oh, and make it autoscroll.
And put some enemies too. And put some platforms over bottomless pits. And make it so that some places, you have to be fast in order to make it. And put a tough fight with a random Cuphead boss at the end.

I found this piece quite confusing in the game (Platinum) when I went to capture Giratina in the Distortion Zone. This captures both the awkward sense of urgency of the battle and the vertigo of the Distortion Zone itself. Well done!

Nintendo should really consider putting Mario Paint Composer on the DSi. Terrific job! The most epic song I have heard on MPC.

Nice job. Different than expected, and one or two things that sounded a little funky, but this is such an incredibly funky song that it's just about impossible to make it sound good, and you did better than I could have!

my Eevee kicks ass.
The D/P Eevee (from Bebe) starts @ Lv5, so I trained it a lot. I gave it Return and had it hold an Everstone so it wouldn't evolve. I also made sure it had Adaptability as a trait so that Return was even MORE powerful.
I love this theme... My fave song in the game...
Again, very awesome. I thought that you would've done it with your Real 2.0 soundfont, seeing as the opening uses tubular-type bells. But, using the original soundfont? That equals even more win!
Giratina is my second fav legend and I’m glad that you didn’t mess his song up and you made it a tad bit more fitting

If you pre-order Platinum/DP at Target, you get a $5 gift card towards the game, and it takes $5 off of the price of the game. The DP ones were holographic, the Platinum one is just glossy. But, you get an awesome figure to make up for that.

Yes, she was. But I finally figured out that I should level up my Eevee until it learns bite. Then I can get super effective hits on the ghost pokemon, the ghost attacks won't affect Eevee, and since you learn bite at level 29, you get a higher level advantage.
Not to mention it's easy, since Eevee levels up quickly. :D

I got it on the 22nd and it took me a week to beat it I think, I actually had a pretty hard time.
I also have Shaymin and Regigigas.
Just finished catching Dialga and Palkia and I'm chasing: Arcticuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mespirit, and Cresselia.

great music! and epic job but when i got giratina in platium i only used one dusk ball...i was dissapointed i wanted a challence to catch him...
Trust me, get Platinum as soon as you can. It rocks! I may not be able to read Japanese, but I beat the whole game within 24 hours. I just guessed at the yes/no parts. I just know that yes is at the top, no at the bottom. Oh, and Darkrai's new sprite is awesome! It's colored better. I just went through the Elite 4 with the level 100 Rayquaza from my Sapphire version that I had in Diamond.

You can change note volume by using the volume "sliders" underneath the notes. The lower the slider, the softer the volume for notes directly above the slider you modified.
I've got good news for you cat333pokemon. If Giritina struggles itself into fainting in the Reverse World, you can try to catch it again later on the Spring Path in Turnback Cave(whatever the cave is called). U have to have the National Dex to catch Giritina on the Spring Path though.

It's like 8-bit Pokémon Platinum version. You should do this with HG/SS, too, because the music for legendaries was renovated in those games, I think.

This must be a really complicated music to compose on mario paint because the rhythm can change all of the suddent, epic though

If you ask me, Giratina's battle theme is alot more "Final Boss-like" than Dialga/Palkia's but Dialga/Palkia's makes me think that there's more to them than meets the eye...

I preordered Platinum. The gift card thing you get at Target isn't as cool as the ones for DP, but it makes up for that with a kick*** figure. I'm just glad it's the same as the Japanese figure. I can tell I'm going to enjoy Platinum in English, considering how much fun it was even when I couldn't read it in Japanese XD
