Flexwing flying - Chasing paramotors in a PeaBee

  • A local PeaBee flight with a fellow PeaBee owner Mike, resulted in us seeing two local paramotorists and decided to chase them down and say hello in the air. It turned out that I knew both the pilots (Gareth and Fred) and flew alongside at a safe distance. It was the end to a wonderful days flying and sharing the air with fellow fliers. Some of the best things that happen while flying, are always unplanned.
I hope you enjoy this video.
Kit and equipment that i use for my Vlogs:
The Aircraft that I am flying is a Flylight PeaBee:

I run a ground adjustable e-prop on my little airplane, set for cruise climb performance and the difference from that from a two blade fixed pitched wood prop was mind boggling to me, not in the climb rate but in how much lower my cruise rpm was. apples to watermelons of course but I can cruise at 4500 rpm on my single cylinder hirth and sip 1 gph or 3.78 lph now.
