Jaron Ennis - Is an American professional boxer who has held the IBF interim welterweight title since January 2023. As an amateur, he won a silver and gold medal at the U.S. National Golden Gloves Championships in 2014 and 2015 respectively. He is widely considered to be one of the best fighters in the world based on skills and ability, his current professional record is 31-0 with 28 knockouts.

Facts, bro. As great as Crawford is, I don't think he can beat this boy, cuz also his size, length, athleticism and great switch-hitting/counter-punching ability and able to fight either off the front or back-foot as well, will give the former issues in my view.

Good defensively but man what a special offensive skillset. Every punch, both hands, upstairs and downstairs with speed and power from every angle. My biggest concern with Ennis is that he seems so anxious to show everything he can do in every fight. He sometimes makes unforced mistakes like switching right in front a guy just because or fighting on the inside with his hands down. An elite fighter can make him pay. But it’ll take someone elite. Kid is special physically and appears to have all the mental and intangibles to be great.
Putting hands down is not bad when your footwork N headmovement is good N u looking for the punch to counter that flashy stuff gets us in a rhythm N giving the opponet differnet look N waiting for a counter we know what we’re doing
They said the same thing about Roy Jones Jr when he was coming up. Look how that turned out
@@ballsdeep994u Ennis is NOT Roy Jones-level athlete. Doesn’t have the same handspeed, punch volume or unorthodox style either.
@@Rokkstxrdevon it’s not bad against certain fighters and certain styles. I don’t see it working out well against an elite fighter with elite timing and athleticism like Bud Crawford or Jermell Charlo tho.

He's definitely talented and athletic but I really want to see him against elite level competitors. Then we will see how great he is for real!

Everybody talks about his skill set, but what about that tank? This man is crispy from the first punch of the fight to the last.😮😮😮
And that chin. He chose to brawl with a hard puncher in Villa and ate some shots. No effect. He gave a KO specialist the fight he wanted and beat his ass anyway. Nobody wants it with Boots right now.

Been a fan of Ennis since his first fight on Showtime against Alvarez. Future world champion for sure. Sublime boxing ability coupled with a mean killer instinct. You don't get both traits very often in fighters.

He looks good against B level opponents but I am not sure he's ready for Crawford or Spence yet. He needs to fight Vergil Ortiz or Stannois ASAP. All these theatrics might not work against elite fighters.
It is unlikely Crawford will fight him (makes zero financial sense)... but Boots career might benefit from losing his "0" and fighting better competition.

Boots is special and has great footwork, and can fight going back 💯 only thing that is a concern is him trying to be flashy in the ring with all that robot moves. We still need to see how good his chin is, doesnt seem like his chin has been tested very much.
As skilled as Ennis is, he's a dirty fighter. Constantly hitting behind the head of most of his opponents. Without hesitation and always doing it.

In terms of talent? That's probably fair but he doesn't have the resume to be put up in those ranks yet. He definitely needs to prove himself against an elite fighter or at least unify some titles before we can start talking about him entering the P4P rankings.

From what I see in these highlights I call him where I call a style bender. Obviously similar to Israel adesanya nickname in the sense that he can do a fairly shell he can do a high guard he can be a power punch or he could be a slick point fighter it could be purely defensive and counterpoint she could be purely offensive and walking down he can bend all styles. He can fight squared up with hooks and upper cuts and he can fight with a more bladed stance with jabs and right crosses.
He's incorporated many styles of boxing into his 1 style which is a bent style. In a good way

Whether you like it or not Ennis is a fantastic fighter and he'll do very well in his career. If he loses to Crawford if the fight ever happens then so what? He'd be losing to the #1 P4P fighter in the world, Ennis would still be considered very good.

You've got to respect Crowley's heart and toughness, he's gone on a nice run over these last few years. That's not enough to beat an elite fighter however and he'll find out there are levels to this game in a big way.

Crawford "was" much better, but this guys got enough to beat a 36 year old Crawford. He's a balanced fighter with power in both hands. I don't think Crawford will get past Madrimov either because of both his age & extra weight. Ennis is on his way to stardom.

Ennis knocked out former world title holder Sergey Lipinets in dominant fashion and in his last fight he beat the 26-1 Roiman Villa who's unquestionably a good fighter. If you're talking about absolute elite opposition then I don't think it's happening because the Crawford-Ennis fight isn't in the works.

You have to eventually go up in competition or your bad habits get harder to break. You essentially peak your learning ability too early..
All these guys are at the same low level skillset! He's been doing this too long now. Never wanna rush yourself like Frank Martin did vs Tank, but definitely have to incrementally increase the level of comp..
