@@Usmanthemecanonaw there wasn’t much value in this fight I doubt there were many bets. That could be it too but in fights like this the crowd gets restless and bored. It happens all the time at fights. When people take time to go to fights and add in drinks and whatnot they want to see a show. Its different being there live and you have to consider big ppv cards like this one bring out a lot of casuals and they want a show. All that factors in to the Boos.

I don’t think they were booing the fight itself, just the performance by Karen. Ennis stayed busy and landed some good shots but Karen just wanted to run and take it the distance. It was more directed at Karen himself.

I agree! Good boxers train to stick and move. Hit and not get hit. Just trying to survive is different than understanding your strengths. Chukhadzhian managed his strength and foot movement well, especially considering the power of his opponent. He remained composed and hit back when he could. Even the commentator stated that Chukhadzhian had thrown nearly the same amount of punches as Ennis. Ennis just landed better and had pretty good defense. I don't see that as running to just survive. Give these professional fighters more credit. Him and his dad thought that they would just run straight through this guy but instead got humbled with a 12th round decision victory.

Did you watch the fight. Punching in spots with no clear objective isn't boxing. The art of boxing is to hit and not get hit. That equals balance between the two. Hence why he lost.

What a nice surprise, this Chukhadzhian guy. In the line of Willie Pep, Nicolino Locche and Pernell Whitaker. Lightning reflexes, a few good combinations and very precise counters that PBC didn't show on replays: only Ennis's. His fluid movements are a joy to watch, and he just needs more power. I don't see any other boxer like him, right now. In 12 rounds against a top contender (even more a southpaw) he was never in trouble, and he slipped all the power punches. You could sense the frustration of Ennis, with those wild misses.

He gives them a combination of physical cues that break them apart and he quickly allows them to box again. How did he “force the taller fighter into his range” and for what purpose? He wasn’t baiting counters, he wasn’t jabbing, he wasn’t throwing punches at all. He wasn’t even trying to win any rounds, he came survive. He came to desperately avoid a range where a punch could be thrown or landed. He’s an absolute staple in Ukrainian track and field, and is an easy pick to bring back gold in the next Olympics. And you don’t know shit about boxing

People have to acknowledge that lateral movement, whether they think it is “running” or cowardly or boring, is a big part of boxing, and that their favorite fighters are going to have to deal with it at some point. If they aren’t ready to have the correct footwork to nullify the movement, and then they run into someone who’s exceptional at setting traps off their movement, your favorite fighter will either lose or look bad. There are clear examples of how to stop someone from moving so much. It is a technique unto itself that can be improved upon

6 inch reach advantage and lost the jab war. Ennis just owerpowered the guy that fought not to lose, or just to survive. He can puch and counter, but needs to be able to set the punches with faints. No faints at all. Not enough for Crawford. He can probably beat the other guys, including Spence, but what he showed is not enough to beat Bud. He will have to start working on faints and setups to get to new level asap. Young guy, hard worker, paying his dues. Respect.
Karen has great footwork , defence and counter punching, but no offense. Needs to get busier in order to make a name for himself
Good fight for the fans. Two solid technical boxers. A lot of skill on display.

@iamjwns6277 I'm drunk? I don't care about resumes, Karen don't even fight in the states so you don't have a clue how good he really is or how to gauge him to someone else, as for villa you can only gauge him against rasidi ellis. In essence you don't hace a clue how good they are to even comment anything. #2 mean machine is a 1 dimensional trash bag with no defense or footwork and a selection of about 5 punches. Idc what his resume is, I care how bad he is and I care that even his promoter dropped him while in his prime because he's a waste of money.
