There's only so much that can be done after a patient's illness is stabilized by Doctors M.D.
This usually means Now it's up to your Body to do the rest of the work with the Help of Alternate treatments that can manage the Symptoms of a serious illness to get back to your regular activities and improve your quality of life―even if you're Not Cured―you can live "Symptom-Free" most of time.

Yeah, remember that M.D training is very limited and close-minded to focus primarily on pharmaceutical drugs and surgery to "treat" problems. And this is coming from a future doc myself, but my goal is to be an integrative/holistic/functional medicine doc like Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Josh Axe, Dr. Brooke Goldner, and others (all of which have either reversed disease themselves or family members before they have and continue to do with thousands of patients)!

@Jacob Alanheimer Agreed, the few that know about nutrition/natural health, etc., and are open to learning more, are the ones you want to work with. Conventional doctors are taught in a pharmaceutical model which is a very limited approach (Symptoms, diagnosis, drugs/surgery). Integrative/holistic/functional medicine doctors whether they are MD, DO, ND, DC, etc., are better trained! That's my goal as a future doc myself :)

Your exactly right. I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre just like Doug. Doctors said i would be basically out of commission for 6-to-9 months if i was lucky. As a futures trader, that just wasn't an option. So i went online and came across an article about immune system therapy animals, specifically dogs, that are trained for that kinda of work. We never had a dog growing up and my wife didn't either, so we never thought about having a dog. But i couldn't lose my job. So we got a specially trained Giant Schnauzer named Boomer. I was back to work in 6 weeks, not 8 months like poor Doug(just as my vacations days were nearly all used up). Now we have a new member of the family!!! Plus, you try to enter our property without myself or my wife telling Boomer its OK, and he will rip your fucking face off no questions asked.

I'm 22, and 'few' years ago (around.. when I was.. what, 12?), I was diagnosed with a complicated case of a Crohn sickness, an incurable, immune system sickness. I've been trough multiple surgeries, that allowed me to "stay around" for a bit longer than that, but all of it sure didn't went without it's side effects, just like the medication that I do need to take till the end of my days. All of it is taking its toll on my body and my "abilities"(physical/traveling/working etc) are very limited. On top of all that, I have & am diagnosed with depression and strong suicidal thoughts coming along with it. But I'm trying to keep on moving forward, and to find some meaning in my life... some way to live and some way to make money for the living and work...
...And those videos here, the simple meditation & breathing exercise.. is helping me a lot.. to feel better, feel calmer, feel the anxiety that sometimes overcomes me.. weaken, feel the dark clouds of depression brighten somewhat, feel my body, my physical and mental strength be stronger. Thank You Wim Hof.

@@Sarril101 have you still continued on doing the WHM? Taking cold showers, doing the breathing technique, eating healthy, etc?
I've heard nothing but good things about the breathing technique, it seemed *too* good to be true, so I tried it out myself. I don't exactly have any apparent problems and/or ones that affect my life greatly, but wanting to take care of myself is enough of a reason to try it out. But of course, for my first ever try, I did it pretty horribly. Due to my greatest stigma, laziness, I haven't tried it out again since then, which was just a few days ago. I'm going to do it right after sending this comment, so that I don't forget to, but I digress.
Anyhow, this leads me to a question, have your results been showing any kind of improvement in your sickness and mental health, even if slightly ever so?

I'm starting today e cold shower. Gonna be hard cause my muscles tense up when I get out of shower.
Then after work going to binge watch his videos n learn more.
I think gadolinium poisioning is my problem.
God healed me 3 years ago from a 7 year battle. They thought MS , and I thought I would be in wheelchair if death did not arrive.
Then through prayer God lead me to healing. Got my health back. I'm 45 and felt 25 health wise. Energy. Mood was great. People saw the transformation. Skin changed n begin to glow naturally.
Then had right side pain flare up so bad. I went to doctor after 7 months straight of everyday pain n passing out.
They did MRI. Injected me w gadolinium. Was not told of possiable side effects. Was not told what I was being injected with. Nothing but now you will feel warming sensation n metal taste in mouth. I said , is that safe. Yes as injection went in.
      I trusted.
Then next day itbegan. Dismissed. By end of week was at ER with what they said could be blood clot. . Hand swollen. Arm had huge gushy knot.
      Told tennoditis.
As days n weeks went by. ....it got worse.
Now I'm in crippling pain . Elbow swelling. Electrical shock feeling. ( which all started week after injection) muscle spasms that are like fish out of water. Body jerking violently. Vomiting. Weight loss . Hair loss. Skin rashes. Muscle weakness . Heaviness in arms. Objects like bottle water feel so heavy as if a bag of potatoes. Headaches.
At times can not walk due to pain in leg which seems to be coming from lower back.
Short tempered*like at times just not myself but may be due to pain levels n unpredictability of when I may be shocked like someone pushing a button saying let's shock her now.
      Hahahha.
Anyways. Sorry. Venting and warning others who may take time to read. Do NOT TAKE GADOLINIUM. research it.
Can not find anyone to test me to see if I have high metal level. Which apparently you can have the poisioning n it not show up.
I want a lawyer. But no one taking the cases anymore.
My technician/that doctor was suppose to warn me n give me right to choose. FDA issued warning. I was not warned.
I need detoxing. Been trying but still no improvement.

As a wimp I started turning the water just a little colder at the end of my showers. To my surprise I was able to stand colder water over time. Now I look forward to it, and I’m warmer in general, needing less heat in the house and less cold weather clothes on when I go out. This video is inspiring me to push myself even more.

I'm sure you'd find that most if not all who suffer from auto-immune diseases hate themselves, why else would their immune system turn on itself and try to kill them? Solution, determine all the reason they hate themselves and explain to them that that's the reason they're dying. They then have a choice, forgive themselves and drop all the grudges against themselves, or die a horrible death.

My girlfriend, now wife was diagnosed with the same Guillain-Barre syndrome 4 years ago. She was paralyzed from the waist down. 3 months in and out of hospital and she made a miraculous recovery. Literally just stood up one day. She explains that she looked to God for help and had so much faith that she'll recover. Boom. Up and walking. No symptoms. No side effects. The Doctors still haven't given us an explanation. Sometimes I would stay up at night wondering if it would ever come back. Videos like these make me realize that humans are very capable creatures and help me sleep a little easier. We're making the most of our new chance at life! I've just discovered the WHM. I can't find one person that said "WHM didn't work for me."
I can't even find one person that said "meh, it was alright."
But i can find thousands upon thousands who say,
"It saved my life, and changed everything for the better."
On the 4th week of his 10 week course - i have stopped smoking (no withdrawl symptons), eating sugar (no withdrawl symptons), and started running - just because i have so much energy i felt compelled to.
I can do 60 push ups on my fists without breathng.
(4 weeks ago i could do 10, and that was a 'push')
I am reading books upon books, and retaining all the information.
I am speaking elequently and able to think quickly and clearly.
And the best of all, i feel like a child again.
Despite all these amazing results, i try to spread the word to friends and work collegues who are really struggling with stress, anxiety, depression - and they don't want to know.
I'm like "The answer is right here man!" ---- i'm gonna keep workin on my cold showers sales pitch.

      @@TimOgBurger Hi Tim.
Its great that you started the breathing.
I got the 10 week classic online course. (Its about 120quid i think - worth every penny imo)
Just listen to what Wim says in the videos, and trust in him and yourself.
I'm getting all these results from doing the online course.
But my plan is to complete this course, continue the exercises every day for the rest of this year, then i will go to poland for his winter course.
But the 10 week online course is great on its own - it will really turn your life around.
After week 5 , the exercises get harder, so i repeated some weeks (which wim says do, if you haven't quite got it)
I'm now standing in the cold shower for 10 minutes, and i fee like i could stand there all day tbh.
Been swimming in the lake too (I can't wait for a dip in the lake this winter)
Good luck Tim - just get the course and stick to it - soon you'll be waking up just to jump in the cold shower - its fantastic!

Been doing cold showers/baths for 2 years. Not every day but 95% of the time. Had my first winter dip in a river in 2021 and this year I want to take it up a notch to something colder. I often come home from work and just to recalibrate, put my head under the cold tap for a minute. You don't have to be Wim Hof or someone who sits in a ice bath. I don't have the means by which to do that and so I do what I can and take outdoor opportunities when I can. The point is, you can do something and anything is better than nothing and you'll reap the benefits.

    • @niclasmoshammer6001
      @niclasmoshammer6001 Рік тому

@Tori Wolf start slow. In the beginning you can start with a hot shower so your body warms up a lot and after that you gradually make it colder. Doesn't have to be really cold in the beginning. And after time you will be able to make it colder and colder. And also start with just 30 seconds cold, and then you can gradually progress up to 2-4 minutes. 2 minutes is the absolute sweetspot because at that time the body completely gets used to the cold and then you gain the most benefit from it. :)

Perhaps you can put a solar tank on the roof or on the sun. .the simplest solar tank is painted black and it gathers heat from the sun. It loses heat after the sun goes down if it isn't covered. Rapidly if it is cold weather. pin.it/Jx1D%2BjN it doesn't need to have a glass top. The top can be Styrofoam or even bamboo and leaves or grass if you are willing to open it every morning and close it every night. But if it were simply open to the sky it should give a warm to hot shower on the afternoon to early evening.

Ancient Indians and Chinese talked about these breathing exercises thousands of years ago but we don't take anything seriously until we are forced to do so by nature.
