Have used a 200w solar blanket from Adli, and and tried and proven bi-fold panel 150w total. Full sun @ 21volts I received into a depleted battery over 15.8 amps charging per hour.. Both facing the sun on a 30 degree day in Melbourne. That was late afternoon. For 6 hours prior to that it was full cloud. Best I got was 5 amps with as little as 2 amps in the full cloud conditions. This is with both panels in parallel wired with 10m lead and "Y"from the panels to the solar charger (enerdrive Mppt), feeding a lead acid deep recycle battery (120amp/h)
From experience even in winter I would receive max 2amps from just the bi-fold panel, for approx 4-5 hours (approx 1000-1500) but that is also chasing the sun (panel angle). Will be experimenting this winter with both panels.

Hi Darren. Have you tried connecting your panels in Series? I have a bunch of various solar panels (rigid and portable type) of different wattages including 4 x 200W portables of the same brand.
I’ve been experimenting between Parallel and Series connections with different combinations but moreso with panel combinations that I’m likely to take with me camping (also have 2 x 414W house panels that I occasionally connect up at home to charge the caravan batteries).
So far, I’ve found that the like portable panels (i.e. same brand same output) provide the best output when connected in Series rather than in Parallel. I’ll continue testing using different combinations but I believe when different wattage panels are connected in Parallel, the overall output equalises to the lowest wattage panel which may be occurring in your Parallel connected system so it might be worth looking into to get the best bang for buck

The 2 panels have the same output voltage, according to their specs, but different amps. These should be run only in parallel. If you run them in series the amp out put will be the same as the smaller panel.
