I used to wear nothing but Lancome back in the day, but it’s been a while. I rarely re-purchase mascara because there are always sooooo many new ones to try, BUT, I just repurchased the Gucci one. I adore it. I don’t care for most of Guccis makeup because of fragrance but their mascara has won me over. I do love the Grandiose on you!
Longtime fan of Lancôme mascara. I love Hypnose Drama and Monsieur Big. I use the primer to build up lashes and add longevity to lesser mascaras. Love your videos!
Thank you so much, Jamie!! I had stopped using primer. Just an impatience issue I guess. I’m realizing how much I miss it. It just adds so much. it really does.
I'm a mascara junkie -- thank you for this round-up! BTW -- your hair pulled back (and showing your darker underside of your hair is *gorgeous!* A beautiful fall/winter look.)
Great - a mascara junkie! Although I won't go that far to describe my own quirks, I do like a good coloured mascara. I am from Australia and have limited access to the brands that many others do. I wasn't at all happy with what Pat McGrath served up recently at first glance and just want the shades to be deeper yet with colour. I loved Dior's release of the Brique, (rust coloured), mascara and bought three. I'm desperate for a purple, deep green or anything else that you could suggest. If there are any brands that you know of that are selling coloured shades, apart from the usual brown and navy, I'd love to hear of them. Thanks.🇦🇺💖
What a wonderful idea for a video. I love the Lancome mascaras and use the primer every day. I like the Definicils on the bottom lashes. Monsieur Big on the top. Thanks for taking one for the team on the lashes. Glad to see you’re getting better!! Have a sunny day.
Thank you so very very much! It is hard to believe but this was actually just a head cold. My daughter got it and had no issues. But, for some reason, it sure took a liking to me! Ha ha I like their primer a lot too. I rarely use it because I can’t be bothered, but the days that I take one moment, pause, and apply their primer first, my lashes stay curled longer and look more dramatic it’s definitely worth it.
Glad it was just a head cold. ☺️Ít did a number on you with your voice though. That’s days you just never know. Hope it didn’t take you down from your ‘day’ job.
@@screaming60s5 It SHOULD have taken me away from my day job but you know how we women are. What cold? We keep going. Doesn't help with recovery but so be it.
This is such a great video idea! I’ve used so many of these. My favorite used to be the Definicils or Hypnose or maybe it is the Hypnose Drama as a close second! But I do really like thick full lashes, so the Monsieur Big or the Lash Idol might be better suited. I’d love for them to come out with a tubing mascara. I really love the Tarte Tubing Mascara most of late. I haven’t tried the Grandiose.
Rabbi! I kept thinking I must be missing one because I could not, for the life of me, find a Lancome tubing mascara for this video. And I realized, they just don’t make one! That tarte tubing mascara is so good. I honestly never use anything else right now.
Never tried the Lancome mascaras, but I've always wanted to try the Monsieur Big. My faves at the minute are CT push-up lashes, PML dark star, Rare Beauty mascara, and Maybelline sky high. I love the mini mascaras, especially because you can only keep them for 4 - 6 months.
@NotFitforPrintBeauty Ya i love it aswell, i only tried it because i got a mini for free in one of my CT orders and i thought I'll give it ago i probably won't like it and now it's one of my faves.
I used Lancome Magnificils until they discontinued it. I was so disappointed. I then tried the Loreal Voluminous and it was identical in both brush and formula. LOL I never went back to Lancome for mascara after that.
I don't like waterproof either :) Currently using Lancome Definicils but find it doesn't show up that much on me. I've a queue of others unopened to try next: Lancome Hypnotic (mini), Chanel Inimitable (full size), Jones Road, Maybelline Great Lash, EL Double Wear, Clarins Supra Volume, and Benefit Roller Lash I'm really keen to try the CT Push Up Lashes in Berry - have you tried that one? If yes, what did you think? I love thick and curly lashes :) Love that lipstick shade on you too Rebecca 💗💗
HELEN! I like the CT in berry. I do. But the black is just more chic. You know how that goes. When you try the Jones Road, don't forget to let me know. I am curious about the hype.
Love this video!!! Glad to hear you are on the mend. Although, I did love the sultry sexy voice😊 I’ve been a lifetime Lancôme mascara user. I started with their primer and the definicils and branched out to many of the others over the years with my current favorite Monsieur Big, which I’ve used for years. I’ve always been a mascara stacker, so I would use something like definicils to lengthen and separate and a mascara like Monsieur Big to add the boom pow! I typically will finish off with a definicils type mascara. I’ve moved away from definicils and typically rely on Tarte Lights Camera Lashes along with other mascaras. I have very average lashes, not to long, not much volume, not too dark, so I like my lashes to be long, voluminous, dark, and separated. I think I’ve tried hypnose in the past as well as their doll mascara (love the brush!),which are ok. They even had a mascara that vibrated at one time(cash grabby). I stopped using definicils because I felt like it started to flake and bothered my contacts. Anyhow, my favorites now are Monsieur Big, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and Tubing mascaras, and PML Fetish(still need to try the Dark Star!). I wanted to try the YSL mascara but I forgot to pick it up during the sale when they had a duo.
Tracie!!! I remember that vibrating one. I might even have saved it somewhere just because it was funny. Missed opportunity in this video. You are the second person who has said that the definicils flakes!! Not good not good. I am really liking the grandiose. The Pat McGrath dark star is like a more flamboyant mister big. Her original mascara was beautiful but dried out far too quickly. I have never tried stacking the mascaras like you say. I am going to try that today. As always, you are an inspiration!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yep that vibrating mascara was soooo cash grabby and somewhat childlike. I think definicils changed something in the formula because I’ve been a contact wearer as long as I’ve worn makeup and used it for years without issue, then it started flaking terribly. You know with mascara, I want it all. It’s the only makeup item, I expect to do a million things. I don’t stack my foundation, blushes, eyeliners, etc but mascara yep. I want lashes that look like falsies and often one just isn’t enough. I find if I use too much of a voluminzing mascara that it doesn’t separate or lengthen as well, so I use multiple. Try it! I hope you get great results. If my lashes aren’t touching my brows and the tops of my checks, momma ain’t happy🤣🤣🤣
@@traciewarren1070 to be honest, mascara is more important to me than eyeshadow. Good skin, something nice on the lips and killer lashes. And that’s all I need
I’ve always found the mini size mascaras from Lancome to be better than the full sized. It might be the difference in wand size but I do feel there is a marked difference. I also love Lancôme but recently I’ve noticed how flaky they are - I not sure I’d rush to repurchase at this stage x
Fiona! I like the minis better too and I always just thought it was because I was happy I didn’t have too much product. I think, however, that I agree with you that it’s the wand. It’s almost like because it’s shorter, we get a better grip when applying? Oh no. They are flaking on you? Oh I’m so sorry that’s terrible.
I have worn definicils as long as I can remember and thought nothing could replace it. And then I met Monsieur Big. I usually wear Monsieur Big at night and Definicils during the day. Edit: Another mascara that I used to really like is the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara. It used to be my “special occasion” mascara but I think they changed the formula. If used to give me big beautiful lashes that looked like false lashes. Now it still gives me nice lashes but the second I blink. I have it all over my face.
That's me with the first two charlotte mascaras. I once did an interview (me doing the interview, not me being interviewed...that does not happen, hahahha) and the retailer kept staring at my eyes. Went to the restroom before I went home...I had apparently looked like Alice Copper ALL day. MY GOD. It was So embarrassing. Charlotte did me dirty.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty 😂 The only thing that could have made your mascara situation worse is if the mascara pulled an orange undertone on you like so many of her products do 🤣! Can you imagine?
I love Monsieur Big for the drama, so definitely need to check out the Grandiose! I use the Lancome primer every day and it really does help thicken my lashes. My all time favorite mascara is the PMG Darkstar, but sometimes I'll use the Idole over it for extra length and definition.
I totally understand about the serum/chemical smell of some mascaras. I am sensitive to that too, but you're the only other person that I've heard mention it. I find that they smell gets even more pronounced as the day wears on, especially outside on a sunny day.
Rebecca!!!!! Yes!!!! I should have mentioned that! It is not a smell that dissipates. It stays around. And at this point just a little bit of a whiff of it and I feel a little bit almost nauseous, dare I say?
I love love love the MB mascara. It is my HG. 💕💕💕💕 I had this on the other day and was told it looked like I had falsies on! I also love Napoleon Persia water proof black mascara. It’s just the bees knees!
@@elizabethsmith583 I knew what you meant. I think my auto correct did the same. hahahahahhahahaha. This is like the time all my clocks changed on their own for daylight savings time and I didn't realize until that night. Told a friend and, turns out, she hadn't realized either until I told her. Same on both ends.
Hi lovely Rebecca !! Aw mascaras such a individual preference /makeup item , but we all love it . For me it’s PM dark star . I have just purchased the Tarte tubing mascara , but it came in a set with Tarte Maneater so can’t wait to try them both . Thanks for a great review 🥰💕
My all time favourite mascara is the Maybelline Classic Volume Express, the one in the dark blue tube. They discontinued it (at least here in Australia) and I’ve never found its equal
You know, Muscara is one of the main items we could all pretty much save money on at the drugstore. No matter how expensive and extravagant companies are with their mascara, the drugstore brands are just as good. I have not seen that Maybelline mascara here in the states. Now I have to take a look the next time I’m in the drugstore and report back to you. I wonder if it’s still available here. Doubtful!
I LOVE Lancôme mascaras. I used to use the Hypnose and Hypnose Doll Lashes and I’ve recently started using and loving the Lash Idole. Anytime I tried a different brand of mascara I instantly regretted it and always came running back to Lancôme! I also think they do very good value Christmas mascara sets, with minis or with eye makeup remover included. I’m a huge fan!
I haven’t worn Lancome mascaras in several years but I would say the Idole was my favorite of them all. I am with you about loving the new Tarte tubing mascara, it’s fantastic! I also really like Ulta‘s version of Tarte’s I believe it’s called New Heights. One of my very favorites is Charlotte Tilbury’‘s Legendary Lashes Volume 2 and Kjaer Weis as well.
Lynette, we love all the same mascaras...except that Charlotte Legendary doesn't like ME and makes panda eyes. All the others, fantastic. The Charlotte too....until it tries to escape down my face, haha.
I just checked on the Lancome (Australia) website who have 14 Mascaras available, including the Primer. There is one called Hypnose Volume-A-Porter also, with the nicer short brush that interests me the most. I'd been wanting to find a primer to boost my lashes during my recovery from being ill and heard good things about this Lancome Primer. It was when I started re-stocking my mascaras that I required a black and saw that I could buy a Dior Over-Curl Mascara plus Mini-Primer for the cost of a single mascara. I've never used a primer before but found that I loved the effects that this caused to show off my lashes more. It's one of those products that you never knew you needed until tried. It didn't take long for me to finish off the primer and when looking for a full-sized version, saw that my favourite brand for mascara, Chanel, had one available which I purchased. I'm yet to open it, but this will happen any day now. I didn't buy Lancome due to not being available at that time. They also have two products that are serums to assist lashes growing on the Lancome site. I think that one of my last mascara was from Lancome but the labelling had worn off completely. It was a simple all black cylinder with no weird shaping and nothing fancy that I can recall about the brush either but it worked well while it lasted. I do prefer a smaller length brush due to having small eyes and shorter lashes, without the brush being too wide. Chanel's mascaras have always fit the bill for me which is why I keep going back. I prefer the lashes to be finely separated without clumping and lengthened as much as possible. I don't care to apply excessive coats and one is enough for me. I also like a coloured mascara for times when I feel that black will be too harsh. I have the usual black, brown, navy, denim blue, teal, burgundy and fell in love with the recently released 'Brique' (rust coloured) from Dior. Just my luck it was L/E and ended up with three! I'm surprised that the prices of Lancome are equal or often slightly more expensive than Chanel, Dior and others. I did hear good things about the Burberry mascara that is reasonably priced for a luxury brand. Once I've found a product that I quite like, I will tend to go back to what I'm happy with. When buying a new black mascara, I did notice YSL's Lash Clash but that hadn't been released here in time. I did receive a sample size and will test it out next. I'm not that interested in cheaper brands, especially any products used around the eyes. I would use Mabyline, Revlon etc. who have good reputations but won't touch anything I'm not familiar with. I'm curious about these Lash Serums I've seen and wonder whether you've tried them or had any results. I'm surprised that I didn't hear 'sexy' when describing the sound of your voice. That's one that I've received in the past, although during my battle with Laryngitis that lasted from early July 2021 until mid-year 2022, I never heard, although being stuck at home by myself probably had a good deal to do with this or everyone simply took advantage of the quiet time. Please take care of your voice, as with mine, it kept dropping out and never fully returned until this year. It's very frustrating to not have your own voice for so long and not know if it will come back. My thoughts are with you.🇦🇺💖
Oh my goodness Thank you. Yes. The voice comes back and then is gone again. You are well aware!!! You have more lancome mascaras available than we do. Finally something Australia gets before the rest of the world!! I like colored mascara too as long as it’s a darker rather than neon shade. I heard good things about the Burberry mascara too AND the Gucci.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I haven't delved into Gucci yet, but that's good to know. I didn't even know we had our own Lancome website until I looked it up before! Just so you know, I never had COVID but reacted severely to the vaccine, each of the 3 I've had. It brought on the Laryngitis as one of the first symptoms and along came over 20 COVID related symptoms despite testing negative. It was with my 2nd vaccine that my voice dropped out completely and didn't return until this year! Even when I had my booster shot, my airways started to close down and I was taken to hospital, again, to be given dexamethasone. What I've experienced with my voice is quite bizarre which is why I'm letting you know to be very careful. I've never even had Laryngitis before! You can't go losing your voice not long after I finally discovered your Channel.💖
I have tried Lancome Monsieur Big and l'idole, and although I prefer Monsieur Big, I still prefer Rare Beauty mascara. I wear glasses and my eyelashes show up best with Rare Beauty.
Lancome is my favorite mascara brand. My go to their primer, a coat of defencils, then a coat of Hypnose Drama. Moiusre Big is gets too clumpy for me. I also like Chanel Volume Mascara and MAC stack, but nothing beats Lancome. I like their primer much better than the Dior eyelash primer
Tonya! The only primer that competes with the Lancome is actually the L’Oreal lash paradise and it’s much cheaper. But in a high-end market, the Lancome is the best. Mr big does get a bit clumpy. I agree I am really enjoying the grandiose but it feels like an even more dramatic Mr. big
Great review, they have the best mascaras!! My fave and everyday is Monsieur Big, but now curious for Grandiose! The gimmick put me off too LOL. I also enjoy Hypnose Doll Eyes for lower lashes sometimes, and I love Lash Idole Waterproof for sports (when I bother LOL). I tried the 8 one. Didn't smell anything but have never had such an ugly clumpy mess on my face before. Discarded after about 3 uses. Grandiose Extreme is available where I purchase my stuff, go figure ;).
Ann! And now, I can’t even find the grandiose except on discount sites so I think all the grandiose mascaras are going away. Grab one quick on sale. The neck is gimmicky but the product is lovely especially if you like mister big!
Deb! Oh my goodness. Would you look at that! In the two months that it sat for me to make this video, the grandiose mascara has gone, in the US, to QVC and to the outlet at Nordstrom. That means they’re phasing that one out already and must have something new around the corner.
Off topic : glad you're better! Also... Have you ever done or considered doing videos about curating, storing, organising and decluttering? Reason I'm asking : make up is coming out of my ears😅😂 I'm really wanting to find a balance in using my make up while still trying few new things (that I would actually use) as I really want to make smarter decisions, I want to ideally declutter things I just won't use (quality not my fav, mismatch or not my style) but also not go overboard in the process, I'm thinking how I could be smarter in storing and organising makeup up to make it easier to find and use things. I feel there is no one on YT who speaks for people like me... A lot of such videos are for either 1. Minimalism attempts 2. Project panners 3. People who use decluttering as pseudo therapy & throwing out stuff just to buy new crap. I'm neither... I want to have a make up collection that fits my tastes including some special or out there options for fun so def not minimalist, but I want all products I do have to be best - for me - quality so I enjoy the use and end result with not keeping around meh stuff just because it was expensive (which I do a lot), organise smartly so I can easily put together a full face instead of forgetting what I own, budget more smartly to allow for some purchases of my fav brands (which always work out well actually) instead of getting looped into all the new releases and new brands where its basically a try with no clear end result and often turns out soso. You're a no nonsense and smart lady but also understand the joys of make up and know people have different tastes... I think you're the best person to give advice on this that is actually helpful for all instead of it requiring people to adopt a different taste or make imbalanced decisions.... Like I won't start a panning project... I won't go minimal and I won't go all neutral nor start collecting singles and recreate palettes etc etc I want a reasonable, balanced, budget smart take while still having fun... And I'd like to hear your wisdom on it and see how you handle things 😃
Well, first of all, I am incredibly flattered by how kindly you refer to my thoughts on make up. You and I are exactly the same. Project pan never interest me. Never. I’m not all natural. I have all different types of makeup. I have to give it some thought. I suppose I’ve never assumed people would be all that interested. I’ll give you a hint. Clear shoeboxes from Amazon. And I tend to go by brand. So I will have the clear shoebox of Wayne Goss next to the clear shoebox of Viseart. I have a drawer of new products I am trying and playing with so that they are at hand. And I have a drawer for foundation that I make sure to keep current And get rid of ones that are getting yucky or smelling or changing texture. I have an eyeliner drawer. I have a lip liner drawer. And I have two drawers of lipstick arranged by Brand. Everything else is by brand in shoeboxes and the shoeboxes are on the shelf in my closet, a sweater shelf. And I can walk into my closet pull out the Mario shoebox, which I can see through, and the Lisa Eldridge shoebox. I take those over to my make up table, choose the foundation from the drawer, a lip liner and an eyeliner from the drawer and the lipstick from the drawer. I don’t know if that makes any sense. I’ll have to see if I can make that into some sort of a half interesting video or if everyone will just fall asleep.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty many thanks!! I bet there will be enough people to be interested! Especially to also hear it from you. There is really a gap here in YT imo. Maybe you could do a check or poll on the community tab

I have worn Definicils for about 25 years, I use to loooove that mascara with or without a primer but now I moved away from it as I found out some of L'Oreal are the exact same thing with a different name and packaging, same for the one with the swan neck, for a fraction of the price. Definicils and Telescopic are the same, no big surprise there as Lancôme belongs to L'Oreal! Same for their lipsticks by the way, color, texture even the scent!
What a great video !! I love, love , love mascara. As a blonde with blonde lashes , I have to wear mascara. My favorite is the Pat McGrath Fetish mascara but I don’t buy it very often as it dries out sooooo quickly. Sometimes the mini size of the Fetish mascara is on sale on the Pat McGrath site. If I see that then I buy a lot of them. My second favorite is the Chanel inimitable intense mascara because it has a nice slim brush. I too love the grandiose mascara and the grandiose extreme mascaras by Lancôme. Lancôme really does make excellent mascaras. I bought the grandiose and grandiose extreme off of the Lancôme site last week while they were having their Black Friday deals. The grandiose has a nice slim brush like the Chanel mascaras. I think I should make the grandiose in a tie with the Chanel mascaras Ok. Let’s talk about the monsieur big mascara. I used to love it but then it started irritating my contact lenses. It was really weird because I had used it for more than 2 years with no problems. It absolutely does not last 24 hours unless you are using the waterproof version. I have switched to Lashify for my 24 hour shifts so that I don’t have to worry about my naked lashes. I love the Le 8 mascara. I walked over to my vanity to smell the mascara. I can’t smell anything. I asked my husband and 2 of my children to smell it too. No one can smell anything. Here’s the deal with the Le 8. It’s a high maintenance mascara. It’s more like a primer as it’s sort of soft. Hard to explain. It’s like it can’t make it on its own. You have to top it with another mascara in order for it to last. I don’t use it everyday unless I’m topping it with the hourglass unlocked mascara or the grandiose mascara. And it’s also high maintenance because it works better if it’s a little warmed up. I’m not sure if it’s because it has glass packaging but I carry it in my pj’s pocket to warm it up before I use it. Truly high maintenance. I love the mini sized mascaras too. I use the mini size of the definicils waterproof for my lower lashes. I also did not like the lash idole mascara. It did nothing for my lashes. Wow, this comment is really getting long 😜. Ok, primers. I do love the Lancôme primer and I buy it in the mini size. My favorite lash primer is the bright blue lash primer by revitalash. It’s the best that I’ve tried. Thanks for another awesome video. I’m glad that you’re feeling better now. It must have been the Thanksgiving turkey that cured you 🥰
I love that first PML mascara too but my goodness it dries out so quickly. You’re so right. I see grandiose now only on qvc and nordstrom rack. I wonder if they’re phasing it out? Just when I fell in love with it. Ugh!! Why am I smelling the Le 8? Most say they smell nothing. One other comment said she can smell it all day on her lashes and it makes her sick too. What the heck? I wonder if she and I got duds??
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty It’s only on Nordstrom Rack ?? Oh no, that’s not a good sign 😬. I wonder if it is being discontinued as you said. I really hope not. It’s such a nice mascara. The grandiose eye liner is also really great. And, don’t worry about the Le 8. It’s really just too much work to use. I’d just write it off. I’m not going to repurchase it myself.
Good morning Rebecca. I’m so glad to see that you’re feeling better. Personally, I thought mascara was mascara🤷♀️. In general, Lancôme makes some really nice products. My hubby has long, flared eyelashes, while I have a nice length, flipped eyelashes. The kiddos came out with a perfect combination of ours. They have the perfect lashes. Thanks for this extremely thorough review. Continue to heal🥰💜.
Danielle!! in general, I think children have the most beautiful eyelashes. I always notice eyelashes especially in preschoolers. I know that’s a super funny thing to say but I’m always like look at that little boy and look at his eyelashes! Seriously. But, genetically, I think your kids will keep their beautiful lashes for much longer than preschool!
There’s one Lancôme mascara I love but I’m constantly switching and I have like 20 unopened from different brands 😂. Lancôme is a very good brand. My mom is a fan for decades.
I HAVE to curl my lashes, so I ONLY buy waterproof. My current favourite waterproof mascaras are Lancôme Lash Idôle Waterproof and Lancôme Monsieur Big Waterproof mascaras... 😎✌🏼🖤🖤🖤🖤
I favor the mini sizes more. Even if I absolutely love them, I'll stick with the mini. Why? Because you're not getting that much more in the larger size compared. IE: defincils mini goes for $16. and has .13 oz while the large sells for $34. and has .21 oz. That's only .8 more. You can buy 2 mini's for $32. giving you .26 oz. So .05 more for $2. less. No brainer. Also I feel the larger sizes tend to dry out quicker. And the mini's travel better.

@@elizabethsmith583 good to know... thank you . I always wear a primer and I don't mind the extra step but the cost is where I'm wondering if I need it? Love to hear other opinions 👍❤️
I always swear that primer is an unnecessary extra step. But whenever I make the two seconds extra use it, my lashes look better and stay curled longer.
Good question, PinkSparkle. I never use a primer…I felt silly the few times that I did. Do you see a difference? I swear by Chantecaille ($$$) and Gucci mascaras. The former gives me more fullness, the latter gives me more definition.
There with you, too! My mascara mission is getting my hands on the best mascaras…..despite whatever brand it is. However….I don’t buy drugstore mascaras lol so I guess that’s where I’m biased.
I always get compliments about the Hypnose doll eyes waterproof mascara. It looks really natural and not clumpy.
That really IS a nice one. I need to use it more. Am glad for the reminder.
Lash Idol i still love. It holds a curl and doesn't flake. Holding a curl is a must for me.
Hello Kim! Have you tried the waterproof version. Supposedly the curl hold on that is legendary!

You are my second vote today for the Gucci Mascara so I obviously need to try it
Thank you for the video. Helped me choose.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I actually chose the grandiose. I'm pretty sure that's what I'm looking for. 🙂🤗
I like navy blue Definicils for a daytime look, and Monsieur Big for something flashier. Now I want to try Grandiose!
You're right, tho, Laura. Nothing beats Monsieur Big.
Excellent video! Monsour Big is my go & Grandoise is a close 2nd! I appreciate your efforts!!
Janet!!! I had no idea how good Grandiose was until now.
I love the Monsieur Big but now want to try the Grandiose! I also like the Mac Magic Extension mascara.
Tamara! Looks like they’re phasing out the Grandiose! Just as I fell in love with it. Try it on sale.
How kind of you!!!! Thank you so very much!!!
I honestly never use anything else right now.
so happy to see this mascara video!!!
Thank you, Chloe!!!!!
What a great review. I really appreciate your perspective.
How lovely of you, Diane. Thank you!
CT push up is my friend too!! Makes raccoon eyes on so many people that I can’t recommend it but I love it.
@NotFitforPrintBeauty Ya i love it aswell, i only tried it because i got a mini for free in one of my CT orders and i thought I'll give it ago i probably won't like it and now it's one of my faves.

My all-time favourite was Fatale. So sad that it’s discontinued.
I swear it's like they WAIT for us to fall in love with a formula and then cancel it. AARGH!
I used Lancome Magnificils until they discontinued it. I was so disappointed. I then tried the Loreal Voluminous and it was identical in both brush and formula. LOL I never went back to Lancome for mascara after that.

I'm really keen to try the CT Push Up Lashes in Berry - have you tried that one?
@@traciewarren1070 Tracie! Tracie! Tracie!!! I stacked mascara today and it worked! Worked! Amazing!!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Yeah!!!!! I’m glad it worked for you!!! Until I find THE perfect mascara, I will have to stack🤣🤣 Now which ones did you use?

Doubtful!
I love the original Hypnose mascara. Not tried the other ones yet.
Can I ask what lip pie you have on ?
Thank you so much. That is the Mario ultra suede and I believe it’s in the shade Nikki.
TOTALLY, Georgia! I should have mentioned their value sets!!!!
I LOVE doing skincare reviews. I haven't done one in FOREVER and need to update!!!!

@@pinksparkle258 YESSSS!!! This is what happened with me: I tried to watch it and gave up when they killed him. Too sad. 😢 The original show brought me joy and I have so many memories of admiring so many things. The new one, come on!!! Nope. I don’t even know if it’s still on. I lost interest. So sad. 😞
@@MissBeeeBeee And then came the movies...sigh. ugh
Yep. They are essentially the same product with different packaging. It's true. Sadly.
Yep. They are essentially the same products with changed packaging. Sadly, it's true.
My favorite is the lash idôle 😊
That’s a good one for length especially
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty That’s right 😌
Lash idole is the one for me !!!! 💓
It is SO beloved!
Also Nordstrom no longer does the buy 2 mascara’s and get the 3rd one free
What a shame. I loved that promotion.
@@omitina7156 exactly! Nordstrom rack never a good sign. Haha.
Does the Grandiose flake at all during the day ? Thank you so much .
It actually did not. But sadly I’m hearing that current versions of Definicils are flaking :(
Good morning Rebecca.
Thanks Rebecca🥰💜.
There’s one Lancôme mascara I love but I’m constantly switching and I have like 20 unopened from different brands 😂. Lancôme is a very good brand. My mom is a fan for decades.
Our mothers ALWAYS know.
I HAVE to curl my lashes, so I ONLY buy waterproof. My current favourite waterproof mascaras are Lancôme Lash Idôle Waterproof and Lancôme Monsieur Big Waterproof mascaras... 😎✌🏼🖤🖤🖤🖤
YES, waterproof def holds curl so much better. Those two are the PERFECT choices!!!!
I agree entirely!! Truly
Back from vacation… 🤓 My favorite is Mr Big for sure. It’s the best that I own. I looooove some of my Benefit mascaras, but Mr Big is my favorite. I haven’t tried the one that stole your 💖, so that will be next!! Also, what’s with the 24-hour claims?? Who stays awake for 24 hours?? I would look like a zombie and would promptly fall asleep too!!! 😂 BB needs her sleep. 😴😴💤💤💤
They'd have to ask us how it stayed on the next morning! haha. How was your vacation?????
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Vacation was a staycation, but it was great!!!! Unplugged almost 100% from every device plugged on a wall, except a hair dryer and screen to watch movies. 😅 Cooked a TON and drank some incredible wine!!!! Had Thanksgiving dinner, watched movies, had more wine, talked about “life and the universe”… it was sooooo nice to enjoy being in the here and now. I DO miss traveling, but I am STILL not there yet. I can’t stand myself!!!!!!! 💖
@@MissBeeeBeee I LOVE your STAYCATION unplugged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Unplugging was all i expected it to be and more!!!!!! But now let’s watch those pounds roll in from all the great freshly cooked food!!!! 😂😅 Oh, well, I had fun!!!! 😅
@@MissBeeeBeee Any pound or two totally worth it!!!!
Don’t forget Wayne Goss. His mascara is fabulous. 😉
When I tell you why I forgot Wayne, you'll laugh. I used it once, loved it, bragged to my teenage daughter, she tried it and....I haven't seen it since! Haha.
The extreme was discontinued
Ah! No wonder I couldn’t find it!
Sorry I just don't understand why there are so many mascaras out there when all you need is one: Benefit They're Real Mascara & primer. Hey let's discuss...is primer necessary or just an extra step & extra cost? Hummmm 🤔
I love my primer for special occasions but I don’t have the time on work days to fuss with a primer !
@@elizabethsmith583 good to know... thank you . I always wear a primer and I don't mind the extra step but the cost is where I'm wondering if I need it? Love to hear other opinions 👍❤️
The Benefit their real mascara bleeds on me, so I can’t use it. I have to use tubing mascara’s.😊
Am I a terrible person, I have no brand loyalty when it comes to mascara? 😬😆💕
I wouldn’t say you’re a terrible person, I would say you’re just my kind of person! I am exactly the same. We can be terrible together
Thank you for your validation Rebecca, you are too kind 😆💕
@@whitneylacey2942 ♥️❤️💕❤️♥️
There with you, too! My mascara mission is getting my hands on the best mascaras…..despite whatever brand it is. However….I don’t buy drugstore mascaras lol so I guess that’s where I’m biased.
@@chinchillin6280 that’s a perfectly acceptable bias!!! 💕
Monsieur Big. Always.
It’s the greatest!
I used to love monsieur big but it started budging and making a mess all the time so I stopped loving it.
And when that mascara gets messy, it’s so messy
