This clip is from QI Series O, Episode 11, 'Objects and Ornaments' with Sandi Toksvig, Alan Davies, Alice Levine, Cariad Lloyd and Sarah Millican.
The end felt like something out of a monty python sketch
OrangeT3am I thought exectly the same thing xD
Definitely.
Reminded me of the three headed Knight
hahah yes. I think it's because the voice he was doing sounded so much like the voice Terry Jones did
Sounds like the silly-voiced police station sketch.
Can we give Alan Davies a comedy award for the ant and caterpillar scene?
Nikita Nedelko
You mean any and beetle? I couldn't make out what he said for all the laughing.
How about getting Alan and Steven one for all of QI in general :) that would be hugely deserved imho!
Laughing my head off
or at least turn down his microphone.
i know I'm kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to stream new movies online?
Alan at the end was absolutely hilarious!
sorry... mixture of his accent, the audience laughing, and the women around him laughing into their microphones. I can't figure out a single word .
What I was able to hear felt like a Monty Python sketch.
🤣🤣🤣
@@ceeqanguel the 5 head caterpillar convo goes something like:
"Have you seen him, he's hanging onto his arse!"
-shut up you!
"He is he's hanging off his arse!"
-what? he can't possibly be living down there!
"he is he's hanging off his arse. There's a beatle on the ant's arse!"
-there's a beatle on the ant's arse?
"The beatle's on the ant's arse, you can see from here. Swap places, swap places!" -alright!
-Oh yes, oh yes, there's a beatle on the ant's arse!
-i can't live up there why am i always at the bottom?
The 5 head caterpillar bit is not just one of the funniest things ever on QI, but also one of my favorite bits of video ever recorded
I'm laughing so much I'm crying - Alan Davies is a gem.
Alan's bit at the end is on par with the Acropolis bit. Seriously gold.
Five Head Alan needs his own saturday morning cartoon!
So, believe it or not, but the very start of this clip, the pictures from the previous segment about Truck Nuts, that is totally my photograph in the middle. It's my father's SUV, his brother and nephew pranked him by attaching the Truck Nuts while we were all on vacation. I knew the photo had been put on Wikipedia, but by pure chance I was watching these QI clips and saw the photo. Amazing!

Haha, nice! :D
I've had many celebrity crushes but for some reason Alice Levine hits another level. I'm almost obsessed 😅
Cariad, Alice, and Sarah might be my ideal QI lineup they are all legends
The first joke about the crab really flew over people’s heads
Or it wasn’t funny?
@@michaeldukes4108 if you notice, the brighter pupils watching the video did get the joke, the slower students, not so much
RIXRADvidz ... What makes the joke so sophisticated, pray tell?
@@RIXRADvidz No need to be arrogant.
I mean it was the obvious joke but I thought it would have given at least a chuckle
Alan Davies has to be the GOAT physical comedian. And he does it sitting down.
Alan's 5-head Gary impression is exactly like something that would be done with Jim Henson puppets, like in Labyrinth.
That 5 headed caterpillar must have been the inspiration for the sand enemy in Mario. They look almost identical
I love Alice so much
Makes me wonder if the beetles every compete for space, resulting in ants with 3+ bottoms.
Why did no one laugh at the first joke about a crab salad? :/
Tobechukwu Anyanwu too forced
Yeah, I know. I think a lot of people have never heard of 'a dressed crab.'
Because women aren't funny
Delivery wasn't great
Haggisbishop, men are so desperate to insist they’re the only ones who can _____ (fill in the blank).
The only things women aren’t is so damned afraid that men’ll show them up.
Hilarious ending!
can alan get a bafta for that 5head gary moment?
You mean Alice? Yes that was good
@Ann Other well Alan’s story was funnier
Alan definitely needs his own TV show for kids 😂
I think I've watched this clip about 7 times now (well, Sandi keeps ordering me to pick something!!!), and each time is just as hilarious with the stackapillar, I also like Alice too, but that's an aside... :)
This has been another episode of the Alan Davies Extravaganza...
The best show ever!!!
1:58 Of course its in Australia that place is a melting point of weird and creepy animals
0:56 Other brands of hook-and-loop fastener are available.
Jamie Spong, so are other tissues, but do you ever hear them called anything but Kleenex?
@@moremerry57 who ever refers to them as Kleenex? People just call them tissues
Alice Levine is so gorgeous.
Right?
she sure is
Allen=Genius. His story telling chops are bar none (Can you word it in this way? Wasn’t sure but you get my drift! ;-)
And yet nobody mentions that Sandi has decorated herself with two pressed storks.
legend has it that no joke ever goes over the mad hatterpillar's head
He is too fast. He will catch it.
Cariad Lloyd and Alice Levine are both absolutely gorgeous 😍
I think the crab might easily claw his way into the world of high fashion. Especially, as it's using only nature friendly materials - sooooo trendy!
Did... Alan just have a breakdown???
lovely
I could hardly hear the last 2 minutes, I need subtitles.
Yeah, I have a hard time following sometimes. I wonder what I'm missing.
How did they wind up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo?
That other Beatle was an ass.
Alice Levine is stunning. Look ate her! How cute can she get! 😍🤤
she sure is
Ah, Truck Nuts. Makes me proud to be an American.
Wow, an episode of QI with an all-female panel!
I can’t stop fucking laughing!!!🤣🤣🤣
I doubted the existence of the 5 head caterpillar as I live in New Zealand, and I have never seen or heard of one before, but uncle google says it's true,- the gum leaf skeletoniser (Uraba lugens).
Pythonesque Alan Davis
Kids now-a-days would be like "Tamatoa!!"
What did Sarah say at 0:26?
Limpshot McGee "Is it in a shell suit?" (Shell suit being a UK term for nylon jogging/training clothes.
'is it in a shell suit'!
Limpshot McGee OOOOooooohhhh....
ok is Linx the British version of Axe body spray?
If Axe, sweat and feet is the aroma of every high school locker room in the USA then yeah. Lynx is the generic brand of deodrant used by teens throughout the UK.
Alan's bit reminds me of Monty Python!
I don't suppose anybody could tell me why this clip opened with some pictures of "truck nuts"?
Presumably, we all had a good laugh at the stupid people who, strangely, put them on the back of their vehicles; some bloody daft nutters about, watch out!
The 5 head caterpillar; That's a Doctor Who regeneration gone wrong.
Why oh why oh why has no one commissioned a series of Alan’s animal impersonations??
That redhead is gorgeous
There are bigger decorator crabs in the northwestern US.
Would have loved it if I could have heard more of what was said but the laughing drowned much of it out.
Alan Davies should produce cartoons.
Alan is the only reason i still watch these videos. Poor Stephen, he was made for this
Augmented animals huh? Coincidently, my vision is augmented. I never asked for it.
great to see a panel of three women, I suspect its because there's a female host which would be a shame if that were the reason.
Cause I'm shinny ...... #Tamatoa
Ah, if only the comments could rise *anywhere* near as high as those of the stars. It takes real stones to carp about the panel in such tedious, whiney, repetitive manners.
For the record, one of the most interesting, self-adorning fauna is the caddis fly. Google the scientist who gave caddie flies bits of gold and precious stones... breathtaking.
Wow they're spectacular creatures, thank you for enlightening me about them
Tuyệt vời cô Mây
Posh mudcrabs mod.
Nightmares tonight, then? Ok....
Is Alan always this wired?
love to know alans weed supplier this episode !
Alan is the last remaining funny person... A real comedian..
Sarah Millican is funny, I love her. But yeah the other two panellists are unfunny.
Half of the panel seemed somewhat awkward, am I wrong?
It's always like that with new-ish guests, most of the older comedians have known each other for years. I thought Sarah McMillan was the least awkward, she's been on QI quite a few times before.
Thank fuck for Alan, otherwise it would have been a very unfunny episode!
3:21 Alan makes her joke look shite haha
5 seconds in, "it's the crab you are referring to that puts detritus on its head."
"When does the real host Mr.Fry come back? Oh never? I'm stuck with this dried up flipped over lesbian beetle forced as my host?!"
Gay guys = funny
lesbians = um...
Keep Sarah and sack the other two off, Alan and Sarah were the only funny ones.
Real shame that only 2 members of this show have an ounce of humour. No prizes for guessing which either.
Nature is best dressed animals?
misterzod No, 'nature's', as in 'the best-dressed animals belonging to/in nature'
misterzod 'nature's' the genitive not the contraction of 'nature is'
It's called a possessive apostrophe. Only 'it' doesn't take one.
misterzod - you appear to attract the amatuer proof readers here!
Unfortunately, some of Nature's best dressed animals get skinned and put on some of humanity's worst people! Ban all fur, and all animal products, I say.
That redhead is the anti-funny.
'That Redhead' as you call her is Alice Levine, a very intelligent woman, and also a funny comedian. You may have a problem?
after steven left, this show basically become a book club for middle age women
Is it hadn't been for Alan this episode would have been a disaster. Three panelists who can't crack a decent Joke between thrm. Bring back the real comedians!
They were all funny, you just don't like women.
LoneKharnivore or maybe they were just unfunny it's got nothing to do with liking women or not they just weren't funny so dont try and pull the gender card.
Well, they had Sarah Millican. She's alright. Would have been better if Miranda Hart were one of the panelists.
LoneKharnivore you're the one being sexist, he never said they weren't funny because they were women, you just assumed that
Swarna hates women on TV because he can't rape those ones.
i dont know why i read it as bes-depressed animal
GENDER IMBALANCE ON BBC PANEL SHOW SOMEONE CALL THE DAILY MAIL
LoneKharnivore god you reply to any comment that says that these women weren't funny because they were not and call them misogynists because they didnt laugh at their jokes, you sad human being.
NUUUUURSE!
Floozy McDoozy, but, they were!
mklaing09 a large number of people would disagree with you
Wow, she thought she was being funny and then nothing :s
Not enough people have eaten 'dressed crab.'
LoneKharnivore or maybe it was a shit joke. Ever thought about that.
Floozy McDoozy nah, it was a decent joke and I smiled. She just took too long to deliver it.
@@glockenrein in your opinion it is. But im going by the same thing a load of other people have said it was a shit joke and the crowd in this show appears to agree with me as well
Im pretty sure that the man to woman ratio could be considerd sexist..
That's every episode of Mock the week, and most episodes of Have I got news.
Go back to the original series and count how many shows were totally absent of women, then kindly fuck off.
Anonymous User and Alan has the longest hair.
I quite liked seeing intelligent and funny women on the show.
Richard Ashton Apart from most of them have never heard of a joke.
A guest that was semi-funny is now the host? This show has becomed so unfunny i died
i agree with the general premise of this comment unfortunately, but "this show became" or "has become"
Ozolz, from your lips to God’s ears.
Good.
Lol... ok... so a full cast of females -- then there's Alan. Oh yeah, this doesn't seem like a ham-fisted attempt to appease the squawking feminists at all.
And for people who respond: "WAAAA BUT WAT ABOUT WEN DA OLD SHOW WAS ON AND IT WAS ALL MALES" - Well, the general guests invited on are comedians and the vast majority of comedians are men... so they are represented quite the way you would expect. Also, as Fry said in a segment about that, they weren't going out of their way to invite only males, it just happened that way - whereas this is an active attempt to feminise the show. Anyone who thinks this Sandi bitch holds a torch to Fry is deluded.
Ooh, so close! You just let your raging misogyny peek through at the end there.
@Lone
Lol, if you like the show, that's your own business - but it has an overt political agenda.
ajnode no it's a 50/50 chance for each panelist of course it's going to happen eventually
@Zakimals
You don't understand statistics.
Is it just me or is this panel ALL women???? And Alan x
That's not what "all women" means.
Yes, it is, what thr hell is your point?
Are you unable to tell? Then it might be just you!
Alan setting with 4 women. Too bad for him.
Please explain further why you think this?
Harem anime?
