I love Noel. He’s mischievous enough to run away from the tech, but considerate enough to set his chair down gently when he jumps up out of it.
has he gotten some sort of work done, or even indulged in the botox thing? the area around his cheekbones looks rather different
I feel bad for the lady he said was dressed like a clown tho, that was a bit low.
@@___jd he said she was dressed like chucky because she was wearing overalls and had chased him, not because he thought she dressed badly. chucky isn't a clown though so i think he just said that by accident

I just love the way that, once he set off, she hesitated only momentarily before deciding it would be entirely appropriate to chase him around a circular set in exactly the way everyone wanted 😁
Sandi correcting the prompter is the reason I have confidence QI is in great hands after Stephen
Fun fact she was at NASA holding hands with Neil Armstrong's secretary during the moon landing. Her father was covering it as a foreign correspondent for DR, the Danish equivalent to the BBC.
You bet she'd remember it was 1969 :D
My mum's around the same age and can't remember my name. So that wasn't a fun fact for me. Feels a bit like Sandi is rubbing it in.

I love how even when they're not on, they're still in full comedy mode.
It's good to get the audience warmed up before they start. It's easier to *keep* an audience laughing than to *start* an audience laughing. As far as I know, basically every comedy show with a live audience has a warm-up act beforehand.

@@eugenelim1436 It was one of the first things I saw of him, totally hooked after that :) Another good one in that vein was Robert Webb doing Flashdance (also for Comic Relief, I think).

I feel like the Sandi-Stephen banter would be the most educational part of the show while the Alan-Stephen banter would be the funniest. Question is, who would be the other two guests? I want Bill Bailey and David Mitchell (or Sean Locke).

Phil Jupitus would be great with him. I think Phil and Stephen have had some of my favorite interactions on the show.

I enjoyed Stephen Fry as host but Sandi has taken it to a new level. I bloody love her!
I agree, a great replacement. Im glad she's the host, she has really shined since she took over, so funny, quick, happy. As a guest of course she was more reserved, shy, but she really fit in with all the gang.
I didn't want to like Sandi, but she made me love her as a hostess.

Neddie Valentine Sandi first appeared in the G series, which was nine years before, so a child then could be of university age now. That’s usually how time works.
yea its been quite a while, it goes by fast. Back when she was first on the shows, quiet, horrible dresser, growing up a life gay and not quite fitting in as she called it, lots of problems in school, very smart, a little stand-offish but with a personality just hidden away from everyone and over the years becoming such a loved mom and friend to everyone, just fitting right in with the comedy/game show crowd enough that she was just one of the group. Attended their weddings, at their gatherings, and so loved and smart taking over Qi from the great Steven and able to stand up side by side with the best of them both in smarts and humor.
Sandi is pure gold!
