Very clean work, thank you for sharing all steps of the process, I really enjoy your video.
Today also just received my Queen Bee Pro and really enjoying putting all parts together.
Best video series I've seen. Just finished binge watching it. Answered many questions i had. To see it in rapid was great
Thankyou I really appreciate the comment!
Great job!
Thanks so much for the videos. What screws did you use to screw into the 3d printed mounts? All of the screws that came in my kit at M5 and that seems too thick for the holes.
I’ve been trying to study these videos but I can’t quite work it out.
Just wondering which ends to the stop switches go, and how do they mount?
Is it stepper motor end fo x,y and then bottom for spindle? Does it matter?
hello sir, I purchase the same machine as yours. Can you please tell me more about where and how you did attach the stop switches exactly in the 3 axes and how did you setup them. Great and helpfull videos , congratulations. Thx a lot , best regards from France
i love you too much you make my day thank you very much
Thank you very much for these video series. The only part I am confused about is where to put all the axis limit switches? Could you please direct me? Thanks
Thanks for the videos, I use them as a cross reference while I build. We are printing up the x axis mounting bracket. I might use a 40mm wide y axis drag chain. Are the mounting holes standard between the different sizes?
Hey Ron. I'm not sure sorry. I would assume they are different there seems to be no standard.
Awesome vids mate 👌 your work bench looks good, did you build it?
Thanks Brodie, yes I did it was just a quick throw together that is begging for some improvement!
Hello dear, I'm building my 5070 Workbee following your great videos which improved my ability to work. Most difficult step is where to fix Z home switch. Will you please guide me by photos or other means to do that. Thanks
What's the width of the supplied drag chain?
Awesome. Why did you choose to build it in a reverse configuration?
Hey Brandon, I have simply reversed the end stops and cable chains so that they come out the back right( as opposed to the back left ). This allows me to run the cables to my control box with a nice short run.
I have just bought the exact same machine and set up, instead i have the 1.5KW water cooled spindle. The only thing i am a little worried about is there is a little bit of play on the Z-Axis and i haven't even put the spindle on. The eccentric 6mm nuts are facing outwards as suggested to create the furtherest distance but still a little play. Any suggestions on how to correct that? Thanks
Sure the eccentric nuts only need to be at the furthest distance for installation. Once you have these on you want to start tightening them so that you can only just turn the wheels by hand.
Hi,
What size would be the best ? X750 Y1000 or X1000 Y750?
Thanks
All depends what you want to do with it. 1000x1000 is perfect for me.
@@IllDoItMyself Thanks for your answer, It was just a matter of which axis to choose the longest for the strenght of the gantry.
Oh if you need more strength keep the x shorter.
@@IllDoItMyself ok thanks a lot
oh, i got dizzy with this cap camera
Yes sorry, I have scrapped using that for future videos!
@@IllDoItMyself I really enjoy your videos because you give me details that I cannot find anywhere else. Thanks.
Thankyou! More coming right away!
