Adam is one of the best singers, his vocal range is 3,5 octaves, almost 4 octaves and he can sing more genres of music - rock, pop, opera, he can change the character of his voice from soft velvety to rock sharp. His live performances are even better than studio recordings, without using any voice technics helpers, he is perfect!! Thanks so much for your great reaction!!
Adam Lambert is a phenomenon. There’s a reason why Queen wanted him from the first time they heard his awesome voice on Idol. This particular performance was sublime.

I can’t believe you’re reviewing music & have never heard this song. It is iconic. He is the best singer of this generation. To attend a Queen + Adam concert is a sensory overload experience. And his solo tours can’t be beat.

Cherʻs original song is epic. Itʻs one of those songs that just makes you want to dance, it has a very uplifting message, and itʻs definitely something youʻd hear over and over in a club. Itʻs one of Cherʻs greatest hits. Adamʻs take on it was so different and personal that it definitely brought an honorific tone to it that Iʻms sure every single person in that room felt. It was absolutely beautiful.

Been a fan of Adam's since his audition for American Idol. I think that while his range and skills are insane, Adam has a passion and knowledge of how to use the different dynamics in his voice and to channel his emotion into his performances that is unparalleled. He's insanely good.
Please watch his Queen stuff. Also in this performance he builds the song to the Climax. He's completely amazing. I've seen him Live 3 times. Best vocalist on the planet.

This was the Kennedy Honors with Cher being one of the honorees. He was paying homage to her but made the cover distinctively his which brought Cher to tears!
I think Adam Lambert is one of the greatest singers I ever heard always loved him since I’ve seen him on idol, and now I see him so many other places that he just blows my mind but his voice, and you are a great host. I appreciate how you appreciate music and peoples talent.
Love Adam, watched his journey on American Idol, seen him in concert three times (solo) and one other time with Queen. He is absolutely amazing.
I was so done with American Idol when his season started. I wasn’t even going to watch it. I just happen to have the tv on when he made his first performance. I was stunned at how good he was. I watched it every week after that just to see him. He sang that season with Kiss and Queen and was accompanied by Slash on one song. Then I saw Adam on his first solo tour after American Idol and then again in 2021. He is amazing in person. The voice, the makeup, and the stage wear - perfect. I am going to see him perform with Queen in Nov. They completely sold out the arena in 15 minutes. I basically had to cash in my 401 to pay for the tickets (kidding), but it will be worth it to see Queen and Adam together.
Adam is a beast musically. There is nothing he can't do. Absolutely one of the best out there. A deep dive into his music would b a treat for u and us.

@@rowanmayfair9249 That is a fallacy. The money is often ploughed into the winner. Adam is an anomaly in talent shows and generally a freak of nature, being as much a once in a lifetime vocal and performance talent as Freddie was, but as he told his mother on the final, "I really wanted to win.". However far his talent (so very far above any other talent show contestant, winner or otherwise) has taken him in the past 14 years and whereever else it may take him, he will always have the tag of "runner-up" to deal with.
@CandleLight1974 I'm going more by odds. If you look at every contestant, the ones who didn't win had a better chance, by far, of going further. Again, based on the odds and number of winners vs. other contestants. Yes, they may pour all that money into the winner, but statistically, they don't fare well.

First time I saw him was on American Idol. Even the winner said the Adam should have won. Been a HUGE fan ever since.
One of my go-to songs of Adam's is Runnin', which ranges from a low-register chest voice to much higher head voice. Adam's solo music is great, as are the covers he sings, and hearing him sing live is out of this world. With Queen, his voice together with the modernization of staging, sound, etc., makes Queen's music sound current, though performed completely live; no backing tracks. For a fun twist on "Believe," find Adam singing The Muffin Man in Cher's voice to the music of Believe on Jimmy Fallon's show recently. The guy can make anything sound good!

Adam Lambert came second on American Idol 2009. He is a fascinating singer, incredible. Just fantastic to see him singing 'Believe' by Cher. To see her in tears took me there too!! Yes, he was also singing with Queen after Freddie had died. We know Freddie was incredible & never forgotten. Yet Adam did his own style with Queen which was ace!!!!! 🥰🥰
I have been following Adam Lambert since he first auditioned on American Idol !! He truly can sing anything!! You should check out his performance of Nessun Dorma in Barcelona last year!! Amazing!! Queen and Adam Lambert were the opening act last June in London for Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee celebration! Awesome!! His latest album is called High Drama! Fabulous!!
I saw him live with Queen last year - exceptional is all that comes to mind. I love Freddie Mercury - but Adam can actually fill the shoes!

The first "performance" I saw of Adam Lambert was his American Idol audition where he sang 'Rock with You' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. I instantly thought that anyone who has the ability and versatility to pull off Freddie and MJ songs for an audition has a future in the industry.

My first experience hearing Adam Lambert was when he auditioned for American Idol. However, he had been in a musical and one of the judges recognized him immediately. He auditioned with a Queen song. Later in the competition, Queen came on to sing that same song with Adam. They had instant chemistry and ended up touring together for about 10 years now. Adam’s range is phenomenal. You really should check out some of his work with Queen!

I love this cover... it's simply a pulled back version in every way. Simplified music, slowed down a bit.... in my opinion it's the PERFECT tribute to this song and the perfect artist to make it everything it could be.

I watched Adam compete on American Idol and you could hear and see the magic when he sang with Brian and Roger at the finale.

My first experience with Adam, I will never forget. Was on American idol. I went in the other room, and when I heard start singing a Queen song, I ran to the TV to see who that voice was that sounded so much like Freddie. Followed him and was so happy Roger and Brian saw his performances. Love his vocal capabilities.
I watched Adam on American Idol the year he was on. At the end of the Finale I tweeted out "I can't wait to see you & Queen in concert" & I have seen them twice!! I truly believe that Adam is the best vocalist of this generation, 21st century maybe even EVER!!!!
First heard Adam Lambert when he auditioned for American Idol in 2009. He flipped that show on its head and it has never been the same. Give a listen to his rendition of Marry the Night. Or anything from his time on American Idol. He did A Change is Gonna Come on the final. Unbelievable.
I think the best thing that ever happened to Adam is the fact that he didn't win Idol. Look at his career now. I compare it to Jennifer Hudson. They have surpassed many Idol winners and rightly so. So glad you enjoyed this. Love your channel. New sub.

I was awed when I first saw Adam on American Idol. His voice is truly beautiful.
Then the first year he preformed as lead singer for Queen my wonderful sister got tickets for my birthday.
As a Queen fan since high school I was thrilled. He honors the memory of Freddie.
Adam will be the first to tell you there is no replacing Freddie, but as a huge fan himself, his goal is to honor Freddie by keeping the music alive. Roger and Brian are over the moon thrilled to still be filling stadiums and arenas wherever they go. Brian calls Adam their Gift from God. Queen + Adam Lambert sold out 20 shows (more than half a million tickets) in North Anerica this fall in about 30 minutes, and they're doing six more in Japan in early 2024. If you're interested in how the collaboration happened, watch the documentary The Show Must Go On. It has a ton of great Queen history, too. Well worth the time.

I first saw Adam on AI and from his audition, I knew he was something special. I didn't know how special he was then but he is one of the greatest vocalists I've ever heard and I've been around for a little while.
I first saw Adam Lambert on American Idol, and I was pretty upset he didn’t win. He’s only gotten better since then…IMO he’s one of the most talented vocalists in music today. Great range, epic belting, he has the grit for rock, the drama for musical theater- the guy can sing anything. He’s brilliant as the front man for Queen,; he skillfully manages to honor Freddie, while not trying to imitate. I’m surprised that his solo work hasn’t reached the level of success that I’d think he would have. His debut album had some high charting singles, but he hasn’t really reached superstar level…at least not yet.
Hope this opens the door for MORE Adam Lambert. New cover album is phenomenal.
My first time to ever see him was when the rest of the world did…. Audition on American idol he sang bohemian rhapsody! And well.. it was clearly prophetic!!! The 1st time he performed Outlaws Of Love live on stage, sitting less than 10feet from his audience, many cried.
First time I heard him sing was him performing Soaked (by Muse) on his first solo world tour after American Idol. Look up the performance in Knoxville on the Glam Nation Tour. He completely blew me away and I’m still his fan 11 years later. I’ve seen him live solo three times. In addition to the music they were the most fun concerts I've ever been to. I’ve also had the pleassure of seing him live with Queen seven times (because once is not enough)

The very first time I heard him sing I KNEW he was insanely powerful as an artist. It didn’t matter wether she won that competition or not ~ he was heard and that’s all it took for his career to take off. I cry when I hear him sing ~ he is so vulnerable and I can hear his soul whenever he sings.
While I prefer the Cher version of this song, Adam Lambert perfectly showed how to cover a song. He didn't imitate Cher but took the song and put his own spin on the song which highlighted his talent and the beauty of the song.
Cher was so impressed with his rendition, she gave him rights to the song.
Cher's "Believe "was initially a fast disco style song. Adam changed it to a ballad.....gorgeous!

I stopped watching American Idol after Adam didn’t win. I was so pissed he knocked every song out of the park. Standing ovation every time. It’s was the best show ever.

My first Adam Lambert performance thay i saw was his American Idol audition (Bohemian Rhapsody). Adam is a wonderfully weird rabbit-hole to wander down. And, for his performances with Queen, he never tries to BE Freddy. He just works his tail off to honor one of his heroes each time he takes that stage.
