It's not sympathy. Hannible loves destroying people and leading them to ruin. That's what makes it so ironic that he's a shrink. He's very good at destroying other serial killers too, I'm not fully sure if it's just to remove competition or because he likes to prove he's better but it's never been sympathy, I don't think he's capable of that.
Hannibal’s “sympathy” is rather unconventional. Everything he does needs to benefit him even if it’s “helping” others. A good example is Margot. He helps her out because he doesn’t like Mason. So he encourages her to kill him and take what should be her’s. He creates win win situations. In that sense he’s sometimes an antihero by eliminating other scum of the earth, but he’s still very much a villain who needs to do his usual grocery shopping and cover his tracks.
@@holyn8 I mean we are used more to violence than sex in cinema, maybe cuz sex is more intimate and also we do it so it's common to judge it ; I doubt that many people have slaughtered someone so we get the idea from the cinema where it is pretty common.
This whole Silo parts are in my opinion the best part of the entire series. This is the only time where they were able to really capture something that is elegant , deep meaning and extremely dark all at once.

@@JWR217 It is a bit much to explain, so you are in for a ride! The dude made murals out of people, and Hannibal ran into him and admired his work. His final piece for this mural was to stitch himself in the centre, and Hannibal was willing to help him with it. It is a lot more complicated than that so I recommend watching this one and the one before it (Season 2 Ep 1 and 2)
I don't think he has such a simple thing as an attraction based on weather someone is a man or a woman. No, he loves soemthing else. I don't know what exactly tbh but I am sure someone already has an answer to your question somewhere. Good luck finding it.
I think he finds admiration in certain others like will and finds them entertaining and is fascinated by them. But others, pigs, as Hannibal describes them are not deserving of his admiration or respect and those are the people he chooses to eat.
How did Hannibal convince the muralist to partake in his own murder? Wasn't Hannibal watching him from above? How did Hannibal get down there and then get to that stage?
It’s meant to leave us with the question, how did hannibal convince a mass murderer to let himself be killed. Makes us feel even more uneasy about him, because it shows even more of what he’s capable of
He was actually very sympathetic he knew he wanted to finish his work and helped him 😅

Detective: He took a part of him, as a trophy
Hannibal : Listen man, I just wanted a snack.
Clearly your username is lacking truth because this was hilarious
😂🤣😂🤣😂👍🏿 GOOD ONE👍🏿
"he took a leg"
Hannibal: looks away and just -uh oh~
*Guilty* hes face expression is priceless
Also imagine how weird it must have been for the actors to have to lay so close to each other naked
watching people getting slaughtered but when it comes to sex its super funny and awkward

Hannibal: “Certainly not with that attitude.” 😂😂😂

"not with that attitude" lolol
Me:watching this
Mom:dinners ready!!
Me:Mom I think I lost my appetite..
I was eating while watching this
tis alright, just skip to a cooking scene
The scene where the guy wakes up and has to tear his skin away to get free and screams I can't bear to watch😖
My reaction to her after watching this: Who's ready?
This is why Hannibal is the greatest artist ever
Hannibal stops short of raising his hand over the missing leg like "yeah, that was me...."

Why did the show end? The ratings were good.
It was due to piracy.
Budget and actor's agenda were the problem
Not much ever appeals to me but that show and mindhunters did...sad to see both end
At least it got an ending
@@joaquinmoisesverarodriguez6108 What do you mean "actor's agenda"?

I have been having nightmares about this for years. So disgusting and disturbing.
For me it’s the mushroom murders. That was horrifying lmao.

The scene where the guy wakes up in the mural and is forced to tear his skin off is horrible 😱 Anything related to skinning I can't watch

The little strokes at the cheek from Hannibal made me doubt his heterosexuality further. Well- other than his constant staring into Will's eyes. Meh

I remember that he likes will's smell.
It's just the TV series' creator projecting his own homosexuality. It's clear from the source material that Hannibal is heterosexual.

i would love to have hannibal roast my chicken in the local farm
and your cock.
or a rooster if that's what you prefer to call it

Did the man voluntarily let hannibal do that?
no, hannibal drugged him
Yes, he did. He literally asked “why are you helping me?” Key word: HELPING.
He more or less convinced him that he should be in the mural. He gets to finish his masterpiece and Hannibal gets his groceries done. Win win.

My only issue is I cant imagine Doctor Lecter consuming contaminated meat.... Wouldnt the drugs taint it?
I think he removed the leg first before the guy woke up

It's a TV show called Hannibal
I wondered why the victim didn’t kill him back or like this laundry basket neighbour? Or medicine..Um 🤔 🔑?
