At 2:55 Dr. Hannibal Lecter, always seeking adoration and accolades, was given one of the greatest compliments someone can receive. And he looks both unhappy and guilty. Incredible acting.
Okay, gotta be honest...I was strolling around yt around 3 AM when this popped out in my recommendation list. Quarter way of watching, it was more than enough to provoke me into cooking a steak to enjoy while watching this vid. I don't know why, but that was the best damn steak I've had in the past several weeks, and it's probably because I ate it while watching this.
Same lol But I think we are actually lucky with Hannibal serving us. I think the only person he didn't make a Cannibal was Jack's wife because she didn't eat meat 😂
i find it interesting they managed to trick hannibal, someone with a legendary palate and nose, into thinking they were eating freddy lounds. did they actually take someone else's meat and gave it to him (which would be very unethical) or did they manage to trick him with a different kind of meat? I would've imagined that hannibal after preparing it and everything would have noticed what kind of meat it was. or maybe he knew they were setting up a trap for him and he went along with it?
Yeah, Hannibal totally knew and was going along with it. Keep in mind, the only reason he went to prison was because he came forward and turned himself in. He was always one step ahead of the FBI right up until he decided “Hell, I’ve had my fun.”

Princely Clouds I remember hearing years ago that when asked the tribe of cannibals what human tastes like, they said it's close to pork. That's where the long pig comes from??
Gillian Morgan I believe it’s from when sailors got lost at sea and they were running out of food, after eating the animals on board, they resorted to cannibalism. They called it long pig. but don’t quote me on that.
I love the dramatic tone when jack asks Hannibal if he has permission to take some food to go. You immediately understand that hannibal know that jack is suspecting him
I'm not sure if knowing the faces of some of the people eaten while thinking about the food hungrily is very good for me, and now I'm obsessed with exotic fancy foods thanks Hannibal.
It’s so disturbing that the food looks so good but when you know the origin of it it makes the idea of it disturbing, he makes theses intricate meals that don’t even look like human meat and it’s terrifying, I haven’t even watched the series but I’m impressed and disturbed at what these guys were able to do
I think the best thing that was said that lines up with this whole entire show that makes it so great is the fact that Hannibal is a hunter going out hunting for his food while the detectives are like fishermen luring in whoever they can to get as close as they can to whoever could be connected to each murder until it eventually all leads to Hannibal which I find was one of the best metaphorical ideas of the whole entire show
So had a interesting thought, did anyone ever look into Hannibal’s fridge and notice the meat wasn’t what he said it was? I’m pretty sure meat from animals would be different then human
According to testimonies by curious aficionados of the culinary arts and serial killers, the closest taste is that of veal or pork depending on the person providing the meat, their diet, and the part of the body eaten.
On an anatomical level pigs are the closest you can come to human beings. You literally test on pig organs when you're learning biology in highschool, that is if you're school has proper facilities for it.
I can't confirm anything taste-wise but the smell of burned/burning human flesh is exactly like pork. I used to work at a hospital and everytime we had a burn patient on the operating table or something was being cauterized I couldn't eat BBQ for a couple of hours afterwards... EDIT: Oh, and from the look and "feel" it is also pretty similar. We practised suturing wounds on pig skins and dissected many parts of it.
I’d eat anything if it could look and assumingly taste as good as this stuff. Hell if I were investigating him and I knew what was up I’d say as long as you keep serving these masterpieces I’ll keep the trail cold as ice!
And the best thing of this all is that the cooking is accompanied by a beautiful classical piece. It makes me excited that i can guess almost all the piece
God I haven’t watched the show yet but their acting is insane, I felt genuine fear and my heart beat faster during the pig scene with each bite the scene escalated that is incredible cinematography and acting.
at first i didnt think i would like this show, but now i love it, mads mikkelsen does a amazing hannibal and i love that lawrence fishburne is in this as well as scott thompson (kids in the hall) 💕
Okay, I'm not only hungry at watching mads be this settle and calm, intimidating chef who can just devote himself into such eloquant, and exquisite delights. But also, I want learn how to cook such delights and maybe go back and watch the show.
What’s really impressive about Hannibal is how he manages to make all these dishes in this dark ass kitchen! If I tried dicing in a room that dim I’d cut my damn finger off.
No leftovers in Hannibal's fridge ever. His fridge is shown to only hold ingredients. MAYBE pre-made sauce (not that I've noticed). But his fridge never has old food. He cooks and the meal is done with, right then and there. Such a classy cannibal.

And bone and water and blood and cartilage and tendons and hair and semin and skin and nails
Depends on our taste 😉😉
and nerve system, y'all
bones : am i a joke to you?
True but nature has a way of making a balance, the side effects of eating human meat is really bad
Who else feels hungry after watching this?
Everytime
As soon as it cuts from human foot to pork, I'm all in, not gonna lie
@@TheWorldBelowDnD For me, it's different. As soon as it cuts _into_ human foot, I'm all in.
I'm not sure if knowing the faces of some of the people eaten while thinking about the food hungrily is very good for me, and now I'm obsessed with exotic fancy foods thanks Hannibal.
Cadel Fistro Me
I love how gentle he was with the Fish
What Will said: "this fish is delicious"
What Will mentre: "I know this ain't fish ya sneaky psycho"
Its the Fish he caught with Jack did you watch the series?
hanniblas manners and cooking is so addictive cant stop watching
I love how they present his food, although elegant it looks grey and devoid of life, the opposite of what most chefs aim for in terms of looks.
Turning regular people into sophisticated cannibals. Love it
It’s so disturbing that the food looks so good but when you know the origin of it it makes the idea of it disturbing, he makes theses intricate meals that don’t even look like human meat and it’s terrifying, I haven’t even watched the series but I’m impressed and disturbed at what these guys were able to do
I think the best thing that was said that lines up with this whole entire show that makes it so great is the fact that Hannibal is a hunter going out hunting for his food while the detectives are like fishermen luring in whoever they can to get as close as they can to whoever could be connected to each murder until it eventually all leads to Hannibal which I find was one of the best metaphorical ideas of the whole entire show
instead of losing my appetite, this makes me very hungry.
This is the reason I dont eat at other people's house🤣🤣🤣
The way they ate those birds was decadent AF
That's the whole point of the dish. You can still get it in France (albeit illegally) if you have the right connections and/or the cash...
I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THE SAME THING, good God, that whole dinner feels like the intro to a porn
3:25 notice how the dish replicates his prison mask in the movies.
Holy shit, excellent observation. I was wondering what those holes were
The White Glove Society: *WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN*
only the best steaks in the strip.
"Whispers" (Would my companion here make for a satisfactory meal?)
Me at Thanksgiving.
Aunts: "Oh, did you bring the turkey stuffing?"
Me: "The best of the best."
That would be very rude man... go in some one else home and just open the fridge...
@@jandonbones2535 Good way to end up on Hannibal’s menu
The thing about hannibal that rubs me the wrong way is how he put prosciutto over the damn butchers twine
17:08 is worth watching over and over.
Why exactly?
Mr. Black for the portrayal of slight hesitation and payoff of making a connection with someone. In this case, Hannibal connecting with Will.
I need to know what that music's name is!!
@@wandanemer2630 hi, sorry that I am 4 years late, but the piece of music is “Adagietto from Symphony no 5” by Gustav Mahler
knowing Hannibal i will feel horrified of what he makes and cooks but i will also feel terrified to refuse when he invites you over for a meal.
I’d eat anything if it could look and assumingly taste as good as this stuff. Hell if I were investigating him and I knew what was up I’d say as long as you keep serving these masterpieces I’ll keep the trail cold as ice!
New season of Hannibal exclusively on the Saturday morning cooking channel.
And the best thing of this all is that the cooking is accompanied by a beautiful classical piece. It makes me excited that i can guess almost all the piece
I love how I’m trying to get into the acting and all I can think is “goddamn that omelette looks divine”
God I haven’t watched the show yet but their acting is insane, I felt genuine fear and my heart beat faster during the pig scene with each bite the scene escalated that is incredible cinematography and acting.
Y'all this is a friendly and sane reminder that this is people.
You know from Giddian's smirk that after he got over the idea of eating his own leg he was like "Damn, that actually is pretty awesome"
This and the Dexter intro *chefs kiss*
“Eat what you love”
Thank you for taking the time to do these 🙏
Anyone else notice the iconic mask at 3:25?
Gordon Ramsay's inspiration for new season of Hell
The punishment is cut your hand for recipe
at first i didnt think i would like this show, but now i love it, mads mikkelsen does a amazing hannibal and i love that lawrence fishburne is in this as well as scott thompson (kids in the hall) 💕
Okay, I'm not only hungry at watching mads be this settle and calm, intimidating chef who can just devote himself into such eloquant, and exquisite delights. But also, I want learn how to cook such delights and maybe go back and watch the show.
What is truly insane is how much clean up he has to do afterwards
What’s really impressive about Hannibal is how he manages to make all these dishes in this dark ass kitchen! If I tried dicing in a room that dim I’d cut my damn finger off.
Finger food
The thing that impresses me the most is that Hannibal probably plates that himself, like with the whole pig, I couldn't ever be that creative
Very good video please upload more keep up the good work
3:24 I always liked that quick reference to the Silence of the Lambs muzzle/mask.
25:10 the better reference is the piano piece being played in the background
@@tunasandwich8049 Ready when you are, Sergeant Pembry.
I wonder how he heats up leftovers. Does this man even own a microwave?
This is what I wanted to know, reheating using a microwave just isn't the same as recently cooked.
You can use the oven to reheat or the stovetop
No leftovers in Hannibal's fridge ever.
His fridge is shown to only hold ingredients. MAYBE pre-made sauce (not that I've noticed).
But his fridge never has old food. He cooks and the meal is done with, right then and there. Such a classy cannibal.
Watching this while im eating, it makes the food even better FeelsGoodMan
I go from watching these amazing scenes to eating chilli from a can....😔
Im wondering who's the psycho here? Chilli straight from the can? 😱
i always watch this while i eat
and it makes me enjoy my food
maybe because of the classical sound playing, or maybe....
Such a great compilation. Please do one for S3!
