I am watching this video on my iPad 9th gen which I purchased last week for drawing and productivity this iPad will be my best investment for me as it can do every basic stuff what an iPad needs to in a budget price 😍
@@poohstar800 iPad 9th gen is the basic version which does an ok job of starting a journey as a digital artist if you want to learn stuff it is the best device to start at a budget price, I didn't feel any issues or lag as of now as I am in my learning phase... If you prefer smooth, responsive, and accurate, spending more money is not your concern then iPad Air and iPad Pro versions are the best of all.
been using it for almost 2 years with procreate, toonsquid and flipaclip, i got no issues, still happy, wish i could upgrade next year with the pro 12,9 m2
I'm glad I came across your video! It's 2024 and I'd like to buy my first iPad to play, take my classes, and learn to draw on Procreate. Do you think this one (which would fit the budget) is still as great?😮
Hello, I'm planning to also get this Ipad 9 256gb for my work, I was wondering how much drawing time it has before it drains when using procreate only?
There’s a small gap or air gap between the glass surface and the device underneath it that makes sense , drawing on that kind of non laminated display can cause less accuracy with where the lines show up when you’re drawing
I would say go for it, Procreate has stated that it's going to support as many iPad's as possible so the 9th gen definitely is going to get support. I would suggest not to get an iPad with any chip lower than the A12 as I think that is what procreate will support from now on.
I have been using 9th gen since the launch. If your main use case is drawing, I would highly suggest you to save a bit more and go for the Air instead. The laminated display makes a huge difference for drawing. For me I occasionally use it to draw as my main use case is just checking mails, reading PDFs and gaming, for which even 9th gen is sufficient.
Is 64gb enough for procreate? Like no issues? I'm contemplating bet 9th and 10th gen, and 64gb from 245gb. Also a bit on the budget. I mean, i dont want to regret my choice so i'm trying to source feedback first 🥲
My 9th gen ipad also has reached one year. Very recommend it for digital drawing.
thinking of getting one this year great review thank you!!

I'm quite sure that it will be compatible, but there might be some limitations to a certain feature. So I guess, it's better to wait
@@vevroniix🥰 thanks
@@yashvrm OK. I'm researching to decide between 9th and 10th, but procreate Dreams' performance will definitely make me decide. Thanks 🥰✨
