Finally another ipad 9th gen user! I love this device especially with the apple pencil. I've been drawing almost daily and so far my artstyle has improved alot because of it✨️

Finally an artist who hasn't used any ipad before. I wanted to buy this but many artists been recommending the newer m1 ipads and trashtalking this ipad.

I swear that the "layer limit" is just so that more professionals will buy the more expensive iPads... I mean please, we can play games like the Witcher 3 and No Man's Sky on the switch, surely the iPad can handle more than 30 layers haha.

The switch has 4GB of RAM iPad 2021 has 3GB and procreate made this limit so that the app could never crash because all of the RAM was used up

@@bj0urne Noone NEEDS more layers. It's a convinience thing but definetly not necessary people have made traditional art for millinia using 1 layer 😂

How much latest OS 17 version update take space after the update on the 64 GB version?

I think the pencil doesn't react all the time due to the protection you have on the screen. Many users that have some kind of protection on screen reported same issue.
Im thinking about getting the 9th gen for art. If its alright, may i ask how many layers procreate allows for a 3000x3000px or 4000x4000px with 300dpi, cuz these are the canvas sizes i usually go for👉👈

But really, there should be some sort of online canvas converter for procreate to see the amt of layers and storage space it yields depending on what people need😓
Hi, for a 3000x3000px you get 25 layers,
4000x4000px you get 12 layers

Instagram is not full screen on the ipad, it's bigger than on a phone but not full screen :)

Hey! There is a small gap between the screen and the pencil like I said in the video, but i did get use to it and I am quite satisfied with it, I don't think it's a big issue 👍

hey thx for the video! only got one question. because of the non laminated screen there’s a bothering sound when you take notes or draw with the apple pencil in this ipad model. do you think for example is the sound a bit too much outdoors like when taking note or drawing or is it slightly noticeable and annoying?

Hi, well I don't really know because I send them to my hard drive and it also depends on how big are the files your working on and if there is other apps in your ipad.... Hard to say

Hey dylane art! I like ur drawing. Btw i wanna buy this ipad but i still confuse what gigs i should choose. The main thing i use this ipad is for drawing, the second use for edit video. Is still enough to editing short video for youtube or tiktok not for 4k ?
Hi, I don't use my Ipad to edit videos, but if you are using procreate to draw for example, that would take a lot of space on your ipad already ☺️

Niceee! I've been using a glass screen protector for a year of so (sorry, I don't remember the name 😅), and I recently switched to Paperlike Screen Protector
@@dylaneart what do you prefer tempered glass or paper-like? Last day i use paper-like but i was wrong when i apply it, have a bubbles. So i do repeat order the paper-like. When i used it, paperlike is reduced quality of screen, but really good for writing and drawing.
I can't really tell because I've been using paperlike for only a few days, but yes, the quality is slightly different, but the drawing and writing experience is great

Hi! The pencil depends on the ipad model, the 1st gen is compatible with older versions and the 2nd gen with the newer versions, hope this helps ☺️🤗

Hi, thank you! I personally use a 3000x3000 px canvas to post and print my artwork. But I recommend doing tests to see what's best for you. Everyone have different sizes and need when it comes to the settings 🤗

I send them to Icloud on my laptop and move them on my hard drive

you should get a matte screen protector
I through about it but I've seen that a matte screen protector could damage the pencil, I may try it at some point tho 🤔☺️
@@dylaneart maybe if u would like to try, heres some advice , dont use to much pressure or it could damage ur tip , have fun with ur ipad :D
I had a matte screen protector and it completely destroyed three of my pencil nibs in a short period of time. Glass takes longer to adjust to, but doesn't damage the pencil tip.

That ipad has a very good cpu,so the 3 gbs ram is enough

Yes it is, I still recommend backing up the drawing on a hard drive to free up space once in a while ☺️
