This is Grandma from Texas I’m 70 and have been a Christian since I was 16. I sang in a gospel quartet and I have heard this song every which way I have heard countless renditions. Dan Vasc has shown the world HOW to sing this precious old hymn. He sang with conviction and passion and respect. He has made it an anthem. Heavens Anthem. Thank you for your reaction
Hi Grandma from Texas, Dans father died in 2018 and this was His fathers favorite song that dan sang at his funeral so this song means alot to Dan, Ya can tell his emotions are off the charts in this performance, God Bless Dan and his father in heaven, Great reaction guys.

Praying for you and your loved ones. My mother-in-law passed 5 years ago directly after her granddaughter sang Amazing Grace. It was so peaceful and beautiful!!
Ok probably repeating info already given….Dan is Brazilian, is classically trained, speaks/sings in 4 languages, plays multiple instruments, arranges/produces all his songs, has a 3-5 octave range depending on who you ask, very comfortable singing opera, musicals, show tunes, pop, rock, hard rock, and metal.
He is the lead singer in a metal band called Fearless which his brother (Davi) is the guitarist or bassist (sorry can’t remember) the other 2 members are childhood friends.
My recommendations are Nessun Dorma from Giacomo Puccini’s Italian opera called Turandot, Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar)basically provides a Broadway level performance), Bring me to Life-Evanescence (which has the growls, screams, whispers, and his amazing voice), I’ll make a man out of you-Disney’s Mulan (incl. collabs with other YT singers), Sound of Silence (Disturbed’s version), and too many more to list.
Dan has an incredible gift to make a very well known song and completely make it his own and in some cases improve it, imo.
Lastly, I just love that Dan brings people from all over the world to come together for something positive, to simply enjoy the sound of his amazing musical abilities and to have an epic day ❤❤❤❤

Dan has tons of great covers on his channel (plus a few original songs). Some of his best are covers from The Witcher Series. I personally love "I'll make a Man Out of You" from Disney's Mulan. Also, "The Sound of Silence." Seriously though, anything Dan does is amazing. (Well, okay, his very first videos aren't so good, but he leaves them up just to show how much he's improved.)

I love how raw & delicate he started the song even with the slight echo & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent that he has perfected into what it is today. He sang this song the way it was MEANT to be sung with such respect, emotion & with a POWERFUL impact. I FELT the presence of GOD!!! This is the absolute very BEST version of Amazing Grace that I've EVER heard in my ENTIRE life & I'm old (LOL). You’re missing the main point though guys. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”. You may or may not believe or accept Gods grace but it’s the only way to salvation. I will never judge a book by its cover but I always ask the question to everyone I meet. Do you know Jesu Christ as your Savior? Life is truly short and eternity is forever, we need to be prepared to stand before God before it’s too late. Great video and even more than that is GODS AMAZING GRACE!
