At Home Depot, I picked up the DeWALT portable job site table for $70 (reg $100) & used the next day on the job site. Sets up in 3 seconds, strong, accepts clamps all around. Love it!
I bought the $200 DeWALT battery kit and got their $200 XR Brushless jigsaw free. My platform is Makita but their brushless jigsaw is $270, so I figured “What the heck, now I can choose tools from both platforms. Great BOGO deal! 🤗
I bought that tablesaw on last years black friday for $299 the good old days good saw but did you check out the Metabo has a geared fence this year I need a new 12" miter dual bevel last year they were give you a free stand now I will wait for BF the Dewalt #2 tool box combo looks great HD is gearing up for an actual bf sale
I did see the Metabo. In the end, most of the differences are Coke vs Pepsi. A couple things that I like about Ridgid over Metabo is 1. It's made in the USA, and 2. Ridgid offers a lifetime warranty whereas the Metabo only offers 2 years.
@@ThePrognoid my old craftsman mitersaw stayed out in the elements in north Jersey for two years and T over 10 - 15 years old still works great....even the laser the portable stand though has a bit of rust and stiffened up a bit only the auto brake needs some finnesing ..squeeze the trigger once
In my experience there's no such thing as too many bits. LOL..I'm excited to try out that right angle attachment. I can't count the number of times something like that would have come in handy!
Yes it should work with any brand of drill. It's basically a bit connected to another bit with a gear wheel in the middle. that allows for the right angle operation. Pretty ingenious actually.
@@travishoward6868 I would suggest he take back the Rigid and get the Metabo. It was a very close call between the Metabo and the Dewalt with rolling stand for $599 when tested amongst maybe 6 or 7 other pro models. The Rigid didn't get great reviews, but it is decent

Nice haul man
I got the bit/right angle driver attachment set for a friend who just purchased an impact driver. Great stocking stuffer! 🎅🏽
That's a great idea!

When it comes to power tools and batteries I always try to wait for these big sales. Their Father's day sales are pretty similar.

That's impressive! You said "old" Craftsman. Is that before they shipped their manufacturing facilities to China?

Wish you'd shown how the right angle thing works. Would it work on a ridgid brand you think?

You're better off buying the Metabo 10" table saw at Lowes for $329 on sale! Better table saw :)
The Metabo is definitely the better deal!
