I have a safety thing that Abby and everybody else needs to learn. At 6:57 she is standing between both trucks while lifting the broke one, if something happens she is in the pinch point. Edit: Everyone would hate to hear that something happened because of anyone standing in that spot while lifting a vehicle.
Many teens Abbey`s ages would have no idea how to build that snatch block up, she looked at it and did it, She needs her own rig later, she will have a fantastic channel, Her and her Mum doing tows.
Most kids her age grow up in the cities, with parents who have no mechanical interest or knowledge. So of course they wouldn't be exposed to shackle blocks.
@@agentcrm I don't know about that ...I do lots of mechanical stuff, always building things , fixing things and my boys (10 years and 12 years old) have ZERO interest. All they care about is video games and their friends, literally thats it, very narrow focus in life but thats OK I don't want to force my interests on them. I think it shows a good example of city kids who DO have exposure to these things since birth but still just do not want to do it.There are so many things to be entertained by in this time and I think a lot of kids want to go for stuff that is easy and has immediate results . so video games and just hanging out with friends works for them ,no real effort but lots of fun.Personally ,I value the feeling of accomplishment that comes with doing something not so easy but conquering it and having some cool thing in the end as a result of my hard work.

Abby hard at work as usual. She has really stepped up her game a bit this year it seems. Great job on camera person at catching her working that recovery. Definitely time to some soild repairs on ol red. That truck is definitely a hard working truck
I don't Know if Abbey knows how to drive or even old enough to get license, but it sure seems like she is trying to prove she is worthy of having her own wrecker.
Nice. Would be nice if Yankum would step up and give you some of their new recovery gear. Some tow points and snatch rings. I know your channel is not a big as the others channel that use their products but still a good channel.
One of mine too, but I love all those older trucks, 55 67 74 after that it got messed up. Anything steal now a days has got my vote, soon as they started making trucks with plastic bumpers I was out.
We had 84 degree's this past Tuesday 10/29, in Kansas City, Mo. We also had some severe weather roll through! That was funny, when Abby stuck her foot in the mud! 😂😂
Abby, I got to give you credit because you don't aren't to be afraid to jump in and hook up anything. In any condition. You are learning quickly how to properly hook up and not afraid to ask if your not sure. Good job girl!
i hope it's not another stub but i feel like it is, i along with others noticed the driver front still had power while the passenger was a boat anchor..i noticed it especially when you were backing up and resetting in the tree row right before the winching of the rearend of that truck
When you review your film; just after you put it on the hook and before the side pull, you will see that the driver's side front wheel of your wrecker still has power. So I expect your problem is the passenger side axle.
Would be really cool to see all three of y'all out doing recoveries. Unnecessary but cool, You in ole red, momma in the commanche and little bit in a side by side (mini) wrecker.
I know you love your old Chev Eric, but I think it's time to buy a small 4wd tractor for those recoveries, it'll be much easier to look after. PTO winch capable plus 3pt linkage go lift. Just my two cents worth

Abby gets a few more hooks under her belt,, Eric will be able to stay in the truck,, and think about how to work building a truck for Abby,, after he and Mara are thru working on getting Blondie up and running..
mike people have been complaining about him for a long time..he's also the same guy that said he don't like mud..why is he here at this point?..momma can run the camera

You could just just treat it like the triangle of death at 12:36 , its a no go zone.
Abby you impress me with your work ethic. Like the way you jump right in and learn quickly. Eric you are a good Dad and an excellent teacher.

Amazing fall in the midwest this year, what a day to be out playing with square bodies!...Spending time with the family, too. You the man Eric!
Tough recovery. That old truck is still a work horse. Abby has become a knowledgeable part of the team. Great job 👍👏👏👏
Good morning I admire the creativity of getting that big truck out of the woods.
Abby is doing good as an assistant she knows what she is doing
Yup, looks like the truck needs some more TLC Eric.... Way to go Abby, hardest worker out there... Get that girl a wrecker built Eric....
Great job guys. Thank you 😊

Nice job, and Abby got to hook up the snatch block. Always good experience for her to learn new tricks.
Eric you need another deck winch!!
Way to go Abby show those young Bucks how it is done
Good working crew, I wouldn't mind owning that old blue square body. Good video, keepem coming.

Great job team
Eric I been watching you scene baby seat cover was I think 5 years old
Looks like Yankum needs to get you guys some rope pulleys to replace those steal cable ones you have.
Rory calls 'em non-food doughnuts, I think? Love those things!
Abby is sure one good helper, and not afraid to get her hands dirty. halifax Nova Scotia Canada
Another great video, I wonder what upgrades are next for the wrecker next.
Need to get you some chromoly axles and Yukon hardcore hubs so it quits twisting them off. Maybe some bigger shackle bolts/bushings too 😅

When do you start the build for Abbies truck?
It's interesting that you still use an old school style sling, but it works,. I like "paid for old school"
Great video ❤
Abby out on the trails! Jedi in training
Dang hope it wasn't another axle, but such is the offroad game

Thanks Eric.
Someone needs to invent the SPARE TIRE. or loan this Guy one so he could get out of the woods .
keep the clips coming
Before you know it, she'll be running the truck and you can stay relaxed back at camp
nice job
Time for chrome moly axles?
Eric, have you thought about adding an electric winch to the back of the wreaker bed?
Eric you need to be careful. Abby is going to have your job here soon

Won't lie when I read the title, I was expecting it to be a shackle bolt. lol I guess you kinda wish it was that now.
You have some competition w abby, she will want her own truck down the line
I see that happening soon also.
Should start carrying starting fluid for cases like this (if it was just a flat tire) you could of easily fix it right there
Thumbs up great video
Eric what size tires do you run on that dually wrecker?
37"
abby is the cutest little tomboy good work abby 🌹
Give Abby some gloves and a hair tie. She's really putting in the work. Looks like big red is going back on the lift.
Looks like Abby has really stepped up on helping with recoveries...
Camera joker watch me a person and help her pull at.
Instead of all the recording and what she's trying to crawl underneath something.
Better call suba for a tow eric
Scuba
Look like you need a winch on your tow truck somewhere
Gday guys
looks fun... sadly I'd be destroyed by poison ivy/oak mucking around thru there.
