Thank you so much for sharing how to do this process. There’s people on TikTok doing it and none of them will answer my questions. I’m so glad I found this video. You did an excellent job explaining in layman’s terms.

I've been watching your videos for about 2+ years working towards finishing this stryfe mod. You're into has been invaluable. Yourself and a couple other content creators (coop, I think and another I can't recall by name) have been of great to help me..
    Thank you all so much

What if I use krylon paint+primer spray paint instead of automotive paints. It says it will adhere to plastic and I'm going to sand the plastic anyway and clean so the paint has something to adhere to. Do you think this would allow the film to stick onto the paint? The color is going to be flat white from krylon. Also, how's that clear coat holding up?

Hey drac quick question. How would this apply to gaming controllers? would the clear coat be too glossy to hold properly? would NOT using clear coat mess up the pattern? what would you recommend to do differently? if anything at all

Good Video, My question to you is, if I have a plastiv part that is the correct base color i want, can I lightly etch the plastic with Very fine Glass Bead in which i do yo my pre prep on a paint job og a model R/C airplane,. Question being is the surface prp as discribed going to be a good contact and take surgace for the hydro diping. Next, I heed a Clear coat that is almost equilivant to Automotive grade clear acrylic. will that eat the Print design in light coats?
And actually how long do you wait if you are going to use a chear coat over the print design?
Any guidance will be highly appreciated.
    Respectfully, Jim "P" Jenuine-motor

Hi. I'm having trouble hydrographic film dipping. Everytime i pull out whatever im dipping, the paint just runs off. Ive practiced with plastic casings from my chainsaws, phone cases and nike Af1 shoes. Ive acetoned the items prior to dipping. I've used different water temperatures, put film sticky side down. Applied activator and waiting for various different times before dipping. Ive held the item to dip under the water for longer before pulling it out. Still runs off.
    Please help me.
