    1:55 if you do click away, you can retrieve the parameter window by pressing F9 (I believe that's the default)

    Love it. Probably going to start using 3D in web design more often since these tutorials are pretty accessable and you can crank stuff down to few hunder kb.

    in actual canyons, you'll notice that all the lines are horizontal due to the buildup of minerals over time resulting in layers, but you can immitate this effect using this technique by simply plugging in the Z on the separate XYZ node to the noise texture's vector

    Edit : Noticed new Logo for channel. it's a good one. liked it.
    Enjoyed tut. Water looks moving to me not calm imo. Ripples in calm water made by wind is more of like stretched. Try stretching noise texture into appropriate axis. Just a quick tip i picked on one of the cgcookie live stream video but i'm not sure though if it was cgcookie or some other yt channle.

    Ooh, those math function meshes look pretty sweet, I'm excited to play around with those. One thing I noticed was that you can see the cutoff of the canyon in the reflection of the sphere, seems like an easy fix, though.

      Griffin Couillard I just noticed that! I think it’s kinda cool though, makes it looks like behind the camera is opened up into a lake, almost like a stylistic choice rather than an accident lol

    FYI To get the Landscape Add-on. go to edit-Preferences-Add-ons-Search for Landscape-Click the checkbox in A.N.T.Landscape. Your welcome!

    Great !! (as usual). Unfortunately I have to go to idle, because my graphics card is quite "outdated" (ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB). Since 2.81, No EEVE and the render is slower than the older versions of Blender. By the moment I can't change my computer. I'm retired ...

    When I choose the Twisted Torus, it automatically goes into edit mode and then there's this cage wrapped around it. Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

      I had the same problem. After you selected the twisted torus, uncheck the boxes "Show wireframe" and "Show in edit mode" at the bottom of the panel. That should fix it.

    Hi it seems that your object reflect by default each other, when i try it reflects only my environement texture.... any idea about that ?

    Hey Everybody! I find this tutorials amazing, seriously! I have a little issue, when I recreate the chrome look, it will reflect the HDRI Sunflowers and not the mountains, does anybody have a quick fix for this? thank you!

    im a beginner.. the reflection on torus ignores the hills around it. Only hdri is in reflection. Do I have to enable something?

    With the twisted torus it only reflects the hdr and not the other geometry, does anyone know how to fix this?

      i had the same problem, i fixed it by changing my render to cycles, hope that helps!

    I’ve tested it and and really don’t know why but on the reflecting objects, reflection reflects the rocks in your tuto, but for me it reflects the world (so here the grass and it’s really ugly)
    someone who could help me to solve this ?

      J'ai la mm chose et je ne comprend pas. Je sais pas si ça te le fait aussi mais quand je lance un près rendu comme dans le tuto, je n'ai pas d'ombres ni de textures et quand je clique sur la petit encoche à droite de "viewport shading" je n'ai la scene light ni la scene world.
