Too bad Nissan lost interest and stopped developing the machine. Its first Le Mans 24 Hours was a disaster for sure, but that was just the start. They could surely have made it more successful in the years to come. After the Tyrrell P34, there hasn't been any machine in top flight circuit racing to garner such interest and excitement purely on the basis of its revolutionary technical structure and build.
