This!! The whole trilogy is AMAZING. Pain Remains I, II, & III. When the ending cuts off, it goes right into pt. II on the Album. There is a video of all three Videos put together in one video. It flows very nicely.

It leads right into part 2, then into part 3. It's definitely a tear jerker by the end.

So not only the first pain remais leads into the second song but also the ending/cut of the song represents lyrics
Dark times my man. Dark times. This trilogy is what I listened to constantly after I came off a 36 hour suicide watch. This band and this trilogy helped me through an extremely dark time
@okscribbles9556 I'm sorry to hear that man. I'm 39, I've had 4 friends commit suicide. 2 of them before I was 18 in high-school. There is always something that should stick in your mind. Your stuggles may be over. But at that point everyone around you that loves you stuggles just begin. Probably not my business, but that's what always kept me from doing it, knowing how bad it would destroy everyone that cared about me.
Listen to all 3 parts together and it just destroys you. I'm a teary eyed wreck every time I hear it. If you want to learn more about will and his singing techniques, go look at 'the charasmatic voice'. Elizabeth is a good friend of his.

I am 70 years old and I cried. This is a very powerful, emotional song. I love Lorna Shore and Will Ramos. There is no other voice like his and that can do what he can do vocally. Love your videos.

In the first 31 years of my life, I never thought I'd be saying things like this... but 2 years ago their 3 song ep came out... and it blew my mind. During 2019-2022 I lost so many people (only a couple to covid), 4 to cancer, (and my partner being diagnosed with cancer) that meant so much to me, that I didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye to. These songs are so incredibly important to me
This trilogy is so beautiful. It's something that I cannot finish with dry eyes. Either of the 3. It's nice that I've found something other than avengers endgame, that can give me a good guaranteed cathartic cry
Adam, the guitarist, writes all of the music for their tracks, and he was going through a *really* tough time while writing this album. Every single track is full of his emotions, but I think combined with the lyrics Will came up with for the trilogy they come through clearest here. Will decided to go with a concept for the whole album, that being of a dreamer discovering a fantasy world they have complete power over, but these final 3 tracks are where the dreamer realizes the fantasy has become more real to them than the waking world. But the lyrics also work superbly to tell the story shown in the music videos, of dealing with loss and grief and everything that comes with it. These three tracks, in my opinion, surpass just good music and have transcended into sublime art. I haven't seen or met a single person (who can stand metal) who doesn't get destroyed by these songs. I've been binging them for the last couple weeks, my grandfather had a stroke and in all honesty isn't going to recover, and my dad died of cancer several years ago and those emotions have all come back. Lorna Shore's music helps me find catharsis in an f-ed up time.

The songs ending quickly like that was to symbolize how quickly a loved one is here with us, then suddenly not. But it blends into the next song, as does the 3rd. It's a brilliantly done tragic journey.
The Vocal , symphonic elements, guitar solo, and all of instruments in this song is absolutely Masterpiece. And this is why i fallin' in love with deathcore especially Lorna Shore. This band isn't about extremely heavy but Lorna giving the beautiful of symphonic melody.

I absolutely love watching peoples first reactions to Lorna Shore. The mix of Will’s voice and Adam’s amazing guitar playing. It’s just amazing.
If you wanna see how Will does his vocals, on the Charismatic Voice, they put a camera down to his throat. It's pretty cool.
Will Ramos is so unique now that he is in a voice tutorial book and his throat is scoped. The operation throat camera on the Charismatic voice started the hysteria. He also has some other amazing skills in singing 🎶 Btw he sounds the same live as on this and the one takes of many other LS songs. He has done 2 insane Sleep Token covers btw.

Also believe that he does it all in fry scream he just uses his mouth shape and tongue position to modify the sound and pitch so to speak even tho it doesn't really change the pitch

@rysirion_9102 they are correct actually, most of the pitch and tonality in a scream does come from mouth and tongue shape/placement, trying to alter the pitch coming from the vocal cords themselves is 1. very hard and 2. potentially very dangerous for your voice if done wrong
You'd really love Will's one-take vocal performances as well. Dude is so talented and sounds completely identical live as he does on record.
About Will Ramos' voice. See vocal coach Elizabeth on her Charismatic Voice channel when she took Will to a vocal institute and put a camera down his throat to film how he created his vocals.
You should absolutely react to their song "to the hellfire" the Will Ramos one take vocals... Or even the original... Or both 🤙 haha

This is my favorite song of theirs. I cry every time the ending comes up. Also the abrupt ending is because it transitions into part two
It's a 3 part series, listen to them all. It will make you understand a whole new definition of pain.
Pain Remains is essentially 1 track, that flows through 3 different songs, but is still 1 song at the end
If you do all three parts at once, you may need some grief counseling.
This trilogy is so brilliant, but also so powerfully sad that I can't watch/listen it very often.

Part 2 is definitely my favorite of the trilogy, but this paints the picture so beautifully. It's heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.

Most people dislike 2 the most. But it's my favorite too. The raw power and straight anger in the song really gets me

So glad you started this journey! I have listened to this song dozens of times and I still tear up every time. Part 2 is excellent too, but part 3 is absolutely brutal (and my favorite of the 3). Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the trilogy!
My humble brag is that I used to play local shows from 2011-2013 in NJ with Lorna Shore when Tom was still their vocalist and also with Will's old band. They've always been a cut above the rest.

Please react to this one lots of people are blown away. Singer has immense range (arguably the widest in music) and the song is a very powerful/emotional journey. He has a lot of screaming techniques that only he uses and singing styles I haven't heard from other metal bands. They have no genre and every song is different.

Saw them 3 weeks ago on the main stage of Download Festival absolutely amazing and they finished the set with the trilogy. The band band were awesome.

This song means so mucj to me. I recently lost my grandfather. A few years back I lost my dad as well and these songs helped with being able to find some release. The way the orchestra melds with the track, at the end along with the vocals when Will says "where do you go when I close my eyes? What do you see looking back at me?" Broke me daring my first listen. The choruses expression so much pain in it's self is like saying I want to see you, but it'll never happen, just hurts

This song is so amazing. There are not many songs who mangage to transport so much emotions. Rage, sadness, grief, desperation...i feel it all. Its the only song which makes me always tear up

Every time I hear those incredibly fast and intense verses, I can’t help but tear up. The repeating melody is so haunting, and then you have the band just playing furiously on top of it with Will screaming with such raw emotion. The pain is palpable.
The first time I hear this song I got goosebumps all over my body. Here I am, probably hundreds of listens later, and I still get the same feeling. This makes me think of my wife and how fortunate I am to have her and just how quickly it could be taken away. I love her.

You really should have done all 3 parts at once. The Trilogy is a masterpiece of modern art and the lyrics are poetry. Part one, like the life of a loved one, ends abruptly and without warning.
