Back in the day, I thought Don and George were the most important part of this band, but lately, I think it may have been Jeff Pilson.

Thanks for all the covers of my favourite band, super stuff! I'd like to share my Dokken story with you.
1984, 16 years young and I was into metal with Ratt, Queensryche, Dio and on. One night, here in Arnprior, ON Canada I was listening to a local FM station from Ottawa. It was their Friday Night Power Hour, and it was the only time I could hear the latest metal bands and some new stuff out.
Without Warning/Tooth and Nail came on. It was like who are these guys, and where did they come from! No other band other than VH hooked me like these guys. The next day, I went to our local record shop and there it was, Tooth and Nail on Cassette.
I got to meet Don and Wild Mick in 1997, an 8 hour road trip to see Dokken for the first time. It was at a club called The Canoe Place Inn on Long Island, The Hamptons. The owner set us up with tickets, and gave us a signed poster by all. Don after the show was at his tour bus and asking where the Canadians were, and invited us on.
Happy trails Emily, the very best and great to see more of your uploads.

Lynch is one of my biggest inspirations! Lots of people look at me weird when I play or listen to this music because of my age but it's the stuff my parents listened to.
So instead of growing up with the early 2000s bands it's more like I grew up with these bands! Keep rocking!! \m/

@@guitarbyemily yes I completely agree, George is a monster and so unique and quirky in the way he plays, both rhythmically and as a soloist. Millions can imitate him but there’s only one Lynch. I’ll never learn all his licks, but it’s been fun trying and that’s all that matters if you really like a player. Get as much as you can from them and forge your own style at the same time. Also, George is THE coolest guy ever, I’ve been lucky to meet him a few times and he’s so chill, the nicest and most down to earth rock star you could ever meet. Rock on! 🎸🎸 🎸

@@RiccardoPoletto I'm cool with it however the young lass wants to handle things. Takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there knowing it's possible darts and shots are going to get slung. It's hard to find people in life you don't know that will genuinely appreciate you for who you are. Didn't use to be that way. The internet, phones, social media, apps and divorce have made it seem cool to rip people apart and destroy other human beings in any way that makes the destroyer feel entertained, more powerful, in the case of predators, satisfied, and in some, which we've met, feed an evil desire. So no, we're good. If she gets some genuine advice on some wicked cool tuning, awesome. If someone zaps her with an unnecesary negative comment, well, hopefully some comes forward to make her feel wanted and appreciated. A lot of people's lives have been destroyed by not feeling either one. In tune or not. ;) And maybe, just maybe, some dude (assuming she''s into dudes lol) will come forward and worship the ground she walks on. Cuz that's why most famous dudes got into playing rock, right? Thhhaa ladieeeess...... lol Rock on, brother
ps If you wanna see one heck of a cool example of that, check out Nita Strauss's video here on yt "The day I got tricked into meeting my guitar hero, Jason Becker." That's one rockin' lady with a man who really loves and supports her. Pretty sweet.
