Sounds great. One of the most iconic guitars from the 80s and no doubt the catalyst for CC DeVille's skull guitar. I always favored Mark Kendall's shark guitar as the best crazy 80s guitar, that was really executed well.
Wow you guys are really good. Would love to see your show sometime. Must be awesome to think that George probably actually played that same solo on that guitar. You really need to play Dream Warriors on it. That guitar was iconic in that video.
This one isn’t the one from the Dream Warriors video, that guitar was the original Bones #1 🤘🏻 that guitar is currently in a museum. This is the 2nd one built for George that he used on the Monsters of Rock tour. I contemplated what song I was going to play this on, because I’m sort of picky how guitars are set up. The string gauge were 10’s (I play 9’s) and the string height was a little too low for my liking. I ultimately chose to play Breaking the Chains on it because it’s one of the easier Dokken songs haha.
@@logandumont thanks for the reply man. Awesome information. It just so happens that the Monsters of Rock tour was the first time I got to see Dokken live. All the bands were great but I was a huge Dokken fan so they were the highlight of the show for me.
Here’s some footage of George playing this guitar on the Monsters of Rock tour in ‘88. Specifically at 28:42 ua-cam.com/video/LDxHTQyOhlw/v-deo.htmlsi=bTYY72iyccgITjXV

Great tone nice
Only if Don can sing like that but that's life and we totally understand. You guys the closest I've heard to original Dokken no doubt about that.
