Do you think it could have also been because with styling your hair you aren't going to rinse it daily? Maybe it's the warm water daily that's keeping oils melted from your scalp instead of caking up. Also do you rinse your hair daily in winter time? It's cold here I'm scare to wet my hair daily 🥶
@ClERCE beauty supply or in store. just make sure you read the ingredients and it only has natural things. good ingredients are: Cocos nucifera (coconut oil), raw shea butter, cocoa pod ash, water, palm kernel oil
For me specifically it was dandruff. It occurred even when I did not use products that could flake. I got dandruff just by using shampoo with irritating chemicals.

It not dandruff it product flaking
