Thanks for video. I am planning to put french cleat on my walls so this was also my idea for a cart so i can transfer tools between the wall and the cart depending on which task or job I am working on. Merry Christmas

Thanks for the kind words. I am not near my shop, but I believe the base is 2-foot square and the sides are 4 foot high from the top of the base. Good luck with your projects.

Hi Greg, This is an excellent mobile tool cart idea and design. Thank you for sharing it. I'd like to build one for my small workshop. But I have a question about how you attached the vertical walls to the mobile base. Are the walls setting on top of the base 🤔 maybe attached with pocket hole screws? Or are they screwed to the side of the base 2x4's? Or what? Thank you in advance for your reply. I really enjoy the simplicity of your videos.
Hi Ray. Good question. The vertical walls are only attached to the center tower with screws.. The walls sit on top of the base and provide side to side stability to the tower. The walls could be attached to the base but I don't see that as needed. Thanks for watching. Good luck on your project.
@@makergarage101 Greg, Thank you for your reply. That brings me to my final "follow-up question". How did you attach the 2x4 tower studs to the mobile base? I see they are sitting on top of the base. Did you attach them with pocket hole screws? Or what? Maybe that should have been my first question 😁. Thanks again.
@@rayaldridge2506 yes those would be pocket screws. However, I am not that sophisticated. I just use a countersink drill and drill a diagonal hole. Then I drive s standard 3 inch deck screw in. I hope this helps.
