Really great idea! Nicest build I've seen based on EMT. Welding is great but sometimes riveting is easier and good enough to get the job done. I'm toying with the idea of building one that omitts the outside wall and sealing it to the truck bed somehow weather-tight. Mainly just want a place to keep my chainsaw and fuel locked and dry.

Most all diy builds cutting slots, all use skilsaw and chisel out the scraps. I guess nobody has a wood router with a mortise bit…

Nice but I don't think that's going to hold me and a couple hundred pounds or so of weights for bench pressing, though.

This is nice, but if you build one, the top part should be below your crotch otherwise it is making you bend your back, not your legs.

Excellent, well done, having started to lift weights and seen the cost of buying a bench, yet again on here, another carpenter with a large space and tools that I expect runs into the thousands of dollars, purports to others to save money by making one themselves. I did quickly price up the wood required to make a bench similar to yours from my local wood store and was twice as much as buying one of Ebay. Yes it is good to make your own, but I wonder when I see the likes of you and others on here, showing us how to make our own projects, how much is it, you're just wanting to show off, your skills, your space you have and all your equipment.

Nice! Work out equipment is way too expensive. Just makes sense to build your own and get the same effect from it

Thanks for video. I am planning to put french cleat on my walls so this was also my idea for a cart so i can transfer tools between the wall and the cart depending on which task or job I am working on. Merry Christmas
