Bought the 650 2024 less than 2 weeks ago and it is fun. Powerful enough for casual usage.. Insurance is low, the price aint that high, it aint that heavy. Its good to grow skills on as a beginner and yea, it sounds a bit boring, but that is acceptable looking at all the other pro's. For someone who never goes racing on tracks its decent enough
I will surely enjoy it the first few years before i consider to go bigger, if i actually ever will.
Enjoyed the review from the US. Subscribed as you sound fair, thorough and did a great job of highlighting the bikes strengths vs weaknesses.
This is my beginner bike and I love it so much. Wont sell it even I am upgrading to a larger displacement bike ❤

Correct, what you said at 18:02, if after a year a Ninja 650 is still worth 5K, it was. I sold mine at that price, as part exchange, 4.7K (not bad for a 2023 model with 5.1K miles on it!).
I'll miss my 650, I really think it's the perfect bike to own as first big bike, powerful enough to give you excitement, but not crazy enough to put you in extreme danger.
Now, I'm just waiting for my next bike to be delivered, which is a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX Performance Edition (which I know you love, so I can't wait for mine! :D)

It does not sound good ☹️ an inline 4 sounds waaaaaaaay nicer.......
It's all about emissions, give me an inline 4 that revs to 16000 and makes my ears tingle ❤ that's what I want !
ninja 400 vs 500* review? huge diff between the two! the 450 has maybe double the torque & acc in low rev , 300/400 below 6k rpm is almost sleeping 155cc acceleration . worth a video ?

Does it get too warm around the crotch area? Mine does when idling and for long rides.
The ninja 650 is narrower than the r6 as the 650 is a parallel twin as apossed to the r6, which is a inline 4.

Is it worth to buy a brand new or second hand is ok?
for the first bike i would recommend a 2nd hand but if you want to keep that bike for as long as possible and you are not planning to sell it than buy brand new

Ninja 650 is a god-awful bike. Never will ride it ever again. Needs to be sent to hell
It is nearly perfect for a mid level sport bike on the streets. You're crazy. Low price, strong low to mid range torque, comfortable seat and position, fairly light and maneuverable, great for city and highway. It's a great value.
